For those saying its a dud, I drilled mine 45x45x4 and left it at box surface. Shot 259, 300, and 202 for 761 out of the box with it. Would have had 800 if not for a costly 7-10 in the 9th frame of game 3. So 300 out of the box at box surface looks great to me
Would love to see how you bowl. I’m only a 6 month in 180 bowler with and old school down and on style from my dad (he’s 80 I’m 40), but I’ve moved to the left with this ball and I’m disliking it for all the reasons these guys in the reviews say or won’t say and my misses look similar to their big misses and split leaves as well. Definitely mellowed out and got more in line with the other reviews as you threw it.
This looks a lot like my Ebonite Envision with the box finish. I took it up to 4000 with the help of the Pro Shop spinner and now it gets the length and backend reaction I wanted from it.

Definitely have to change the surface to get a better reaction.
The guy who drilled mine says he doesn’t know anyone who has liked it out of the box. Said everyone takes it to around a 4000. Met a guy today who took his to 5500+ with a polish.
The day the phaze II gets discontinued is the day my average goes down 20 pins. Either that or I’m going to stockpile them.

I like slower control shapes but that TNT looks like a dud going through the pins.
Tough being compared to the Phaze 2 that's been goated. Nobody's been able to make the TNT look great 🤷🏻
The cover is so strong you pretty much have to shine it to get motion a lot downlane.
@@TheHype-Bowling or drill them pin down. Raise the RG and lower that diff.
Darren Tangs is pin down and it looks just as slow.
@@TheHype-Bowling The surface is what is strong, etrax plus on the TNT is a weaker cover formula than the TX-16 on the Phaze II. The lane shine on the Phaze II definitely helped on the test pattern, as you noted in the review.

I think this ball is a dud. Storm is falling off since those balls got banned. Idk if it's the hardness or the factory finish but it's something. I hear a lot of people talking about other brands much more than I used to hear!
