It would be nice if u can show CPU Clock on the overlay to notice the different modes. Your GPU temps are pretty good though, so much more efficient than RTX3000s laptops.
Great video - just one thing that would have been good was testing dlss3 frame generation for cyber punk to see how it copes with path tracing…
The CPU has to be throttling. It’s hitting 100c. Are you able to ramp up the fan curve?
bro can u make a testing games video on the legion slim 5i gen 9 2024..i think u made a review just few weeks ago but missed the testing demanding games on it..plss its a req
nice, my next small setup will be 5000 series laptop tb 5 dock + 4k screen
If you already have a 40 series the upgrade may not be worth it unless you got like a 4050 or 4060
That's is on😮 interesting laptop but can you review Asus TUF A15/A16 or Intel version F16/F15 ( 2024 version)
I’m waiting on FedEx right now to deliver this very laptop
Hypeee
gonna order too! nice case design and specs
bro plz make the video on the loq performance and new benchmarks of 8845hs with 4060
Being recorded now
What's the IPS screen like compared to OLED and the mini led screens
Brightness is low
What's the normal temperature for that cpu in long session gaming ?
Maybe 85c and anything under it
Heard its pretty much the same as last years 7i pro gen 8. Any major differences?
there are differences for creators
do you have a video for setting up a new gaming laptop?
No, but Jarrod’s Tech has a good one on that exact topic. Check it out
@@TechGuyBeau thanks bro , still waiting for my pro 7i
I got a 7i pro like a month ago. I am having a issue if I shut down or restart my computer thru the windows tab my fn buttons don’t work I would have to force shut down by holding the button then reboot to make it work. Any ideas what could be going on?
Did you ever fix it?
It fixed it self weird as it sounds. There was no update or anything.
Can you run star citizen on this laptop and see what kind of FPS you get?
if cyberpunk runs well then any other games will too
I wonder what is the maximum RAM you can fit into this laptop. Lenovo says 32GB, but I can't believe that it would not accept 64 gigs.
Normally it's 64gb but sometimes you can get up to 96 if lucky
lenove never said that 32gb is maximum! 64gb
Dude honestly? how many laptops have your purchased? Killing it.
I have like 10 more in my office unpublished to be review in the next few weeks
@@TechGuyBeauI hope asus g16 one of them
Is it thermal throttling in Starfield? Why's it reaching 90+°c?
Its on performance mode
Can you put 96gb of ram in this laptop?
Not sure about that. You can do at least 64gb.
The RTX 4090 has power issues at 80w, at 90w its stable. From 80-90w the performance is same.
RTX 4080 is stable at 60w.
Source Jarrod's video RTX 4090 laptop vs RTX 4080 Laptop. Power-Perfromance scaling of the RTX 4090 has a problem from 80-90w.
So it is better to get the lenovo 9i pro 4090 rather than the lenovo pro 7i then if one wants to play using the 4090 card
Dude what the heck are you even talking about, the 4080 and 4090 max out at 175W, this guy simply wasn't in performance mode for Cyberpunk even though he said he was.
@wolfstorm5394 right, I'm playing cyberpunk on this laptop (4080) right now. Laptop set to performance mode, dlss set to performance. Overdrive, path tracing, fg, and everything set to ultra/high and I'm getting 90-109 frame rate. I'm confused on why he's getting such a low framerate with his settings. However this laptop is better than I thought.
