Nice. I have another 1 or 2 videos on this model coming. One more gaming video then a comparison to the 2022 model. I’ll be using this one as my main pc. So feel free to ask if you have questions
Just bought this laptop and was worried about the 4k performance, thanks for taking the time to make this review it was exactly what I was looking for.
@@AloushMan I mean, this laptop at its particular price (2500 USD as of december 14th 2023) is the best and only laptop with a 4090 that you will find.
Soon moving to a new apartment and leaving behind my old GTX1070 Desktop PC, getting Pro 7 but with i9-14900HX. Also I work away from home alot for long periods of time so this laptop will be perfect ;d
how come this laptop 4090 completely demolishes 4080 desktop GPUs in the same games using the same settings? Am i missing something here? Ive looked at other reviews and that looks like the case
Hi man, just got my gen 9 with a 4090, but playing at 4k has resulted in my motherboard temp reaching 100 degrees Celsius. Did you ever see temps reaching that level?
My brother owns this laptop. Looks very modern and is powerful, but when gaming it runs very loud and very hot. The Intel CPU is the main culprit. He had to open the laptop and do a repasted, which helped only a little bit. Don't get me wrong, it's an impressive laptop, but packing such power hungry hardware into a fairly slim form-factor comes at a cost.
Great video, a real gem! It's hard to find any reviews of this laptop showing games performance on balanced mode and in 1440p and 4k resolutions! I'm about to buy it, but I'd be using it 90% of the time on balanced mode (I'd only play on performance mode if wearing noise cancelling headphones).
@@sparshbansal6624 I’m not wealthy lol. I do my best. Lenovo is way more affordable I do have a 4080 msi vector laptop im working on a review right now I
How are you getting such good frames on red dead 2. I have everything maxed at 1600p and I'm getting around 80fps. This is on performance mode and gpu overclock turned on. Dlss as well. Any suggestions?
My laptop is stuck with 60 fps even in quality mode. Do you know what settings should i change in order it to run more than 80 fps like you did in quality mode.
You are probably locked with VSYNC or fps listing in the game. Make sure 1. Your screen itself is set to higher refresh rate 2. The game doesn’t have vsync or fps limits turned on
How are the speakers on the 7i pro? I make music as a hobby and like to use the laptop speakers and headphones. I currently have a HP Omen 16 and the speakers are really good. Im looking to upgrade but Im concerned I will order a laptop to have it arrive and the speakers are a let down
Yep ima getting the Lenovo legion pro 7i rn I have the Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 it’s alright but I would like a better experience and the frame drops in a demanding game is crazy.
How much do you believe is the "right price" for this thing? I saw it on "discount", costing 3.8k euros. The "normal" price is 4.6k euros here in Ireland.
It’s kind of hard to say, because every single 4090 laptop is over priced right now. The Legion seems to be the best available price for a good model with this chip, but I think that €3.8 thousand is pushing it. I think that 3000 on the dot would be more fair. That’s more similar to what I paid in Canadian dollar That being said you guys have weird taxes over there
Haha I got you into it eh!? Thanks In a couple days. I have the footage already. Just need to compile it. The next one will be another gaming video. After that I will have a comparison video of 2022 vs 2023 models. I suppose that later once those are done I can take some game requests. I’m going to be using this legion for quite some time methinks. It’s quite the beast
@@carsoncrews Don't blow your savings on a 4090 laptop. They're great, sure, but they cost way more and performance worse than a 4080 desktop. The laptops are nice if you can afford it, but a desktop is better if you have money issues.
This video is done exclusively on an external display. My review shows a few games on the laptop itself recoded on a camera. I have one more vidoe on the 4090 coming soon. I might do more after as it will be my main laptop for a while
@@TechGuyBeau Yeah, I supposed it was external monitor, because the image quality was incredibly good! Hope to see a screen recording video(without camera) on the laptop itself. Btw, what is the name and model of your monitor?
@@vahramgermanyan8874 oh it was actually game capture. I have a game capture card so it was a direct signal, rather than camera. The external screen just allows a mid standard 1440p capture, better allowing comparison to other laptops and desktops
