This is one of my fav Brandy songs, but the premise doesn't fit the title LoL. An angel in disguise is someone who looks like something bad, but is really good... an angel disguised as something else. This song is about a girl who is the opposite of that, therefore NOT an angel disguised as something else.
I thought she was trying to make light of the situation. By saying the lady was an angel of disguise because she "took" away a man who was unfaithful. That's how I interpreted it😭
