I like how its in the same style as jade creek 2, really nice touch
i'll be damned if this is not one of the greatest stages in video game history
maybe not the greatest but still thrilling as hell the first run through
It's a damn crime that this is only about a minute long.
My first run of this level was ass. Now I can vlaze through it and its rather fun. They should have given a control sceme panel when you take control of the BFF2000
THIS GAMES OST IS JUST SO WHAT THE WORD INCREDIBLE
One of the best soundtracks I ever heard
Ironic you get to pilot the boos you fought earlier (Something I did not expect them to do).
They kind of did that in FP1 with the hologram dragon in the schmup section, but this is definitely cooler
@SicklySeraph And Milla’s miniboss in Battle Glacier!
As cool as the Giant Robot fight was, this has to be the contender for worst stage in the game for me.
Not one moment to breath or position yourself, whilst lost in a hazardous maze, cornered by uncountable hordes of enemies.
The bot fight at the end was cool as I said. But after the fight I decided to explore the rest of the arena. There’s SO MUCH SPACE. And none of it can be used since the BFF-2000 cannot jump over Serpentines mech. I do not know if that space was intended to be used or not.
I wouldn’t say the stage is bad, but you’ll not hear me say it’s good either.
I agree.
Nalao Lake is one of my least-liked stages in the game. It took me so much time to find all three mechs the first time I played, and it's as you said, there's no room to breathe at all.
The robot fight was just a clunky mess. I vastly prefer the Titan Armor fight from Inversion Dynamo when you control your character rather than button-mash your way toward victory. Now I can get through the whole stage in like 3 minutes since I remembered the path while doing the "All S ranks" achievement, but the bitter taste remains from that first impression.
I love it because it's hectic: dealing with tons of powered-up enemies while trying to find out how to navigate it played into the desperation to get the mech together beautifully.
I downloaded this beautiful soundtrack and it was extended
Source?
I hear this theme's intro and the only thing I can think about is Aleste. Love it!
Best track of the game
This is my favorite music in freedom planet 2 nalao lake
Currently groovin to this
"Hey, snake eyes! Got a little surprise for ya... fighters, ACTIVATE!"
Milla: “Um… Do we need to do something now or… ?
@@oznelnavnaekal6679 "Say activate!"
Milla: “Oh, okay!” * clears throat * “Activate!”
Lilac (separately): “Activate!”
@@oznelnavnaekal6679 "No, no, NO! We ALL have to say Activate AT THE SAME TIME!"
@@HarmonyBunny Neera: You CANNOT be serious. That song and dance is REQUIRED for this thing to function?!
COOL!
AWESOME Video
1:02 🎶I like the remix🎶
Fun af level
Giant Mech Fight!
Love FP2 but I'm REALLY not a fan of this stage at all. It's definitely the low point for me in an otherwise top tier game. Enemy design (the tracking laser enemies specifically) and placement is so aggressive in combination with stage gimmicks that are weirdly buggy compared to everything else in the game. Each time I've played it, I glitch through walls at least 2 or 3 times. Some of the bubbles just launch you into thorns which...isn't very fun. And the mech........eh.
Appreciate the attempt here. It's an ambitious level that captures the story moment well but it just didn't come together for me gameplay wise in this case.
I love the music and the overall theme of the level but I could have gone without the underwater spike maze.
(its not so bad now I know my way around the stage though)
0:15 Am I imagining this, or is that a Final Dreadnought 1 motif?
you are not lol
that was my first thought when I heard this track because of all the other leitmotifs thrown into the ost already XD
Activate!
Milla: “Um… Do we need to do something now or… ?
This music sounds like a song in Ninja Painter tbh
This is such a well design level but the mech really ruins the flow of the level
Agreed it was really stiff
The segment of finding the robot pieces was annoying. But this song (and even the robot part) kinda made up for it. Though, in the boss part I just spammed special button hopping to boss health decrease quicker than mine's because it's hard to avoid these attacks with a giant hitbox.
The Hitbox is actually pretty small (only like the head part), So dodging should be possible as for the missiles you can easily shot them.
Honestly OP I feel the opposite. I left a comment with my personal review of the level.
Sash Lilac Theme
but Lilac's theme is Pangu Lagoon
i used to absolutely hate this song, after replaying the game i still hate the level but the song is okay
This level is a black mark on this game imo. That mech controls like ass, and everything else about it is so jank. Nice music and graphics tho.
Imagine doing this on a no hit run for that rainbow S. I almost got it but I failed by 1 leaf left on giant snake man. Its none too bad but I get why it can be frustrating for a first timer. They don't explain anything.
Nah, this stage rocks (yeah mech controls are a bit hard to master ngl) if you played this 2 months ago they did a lot of updates fixing tons of bugs
@@aldorain1016 Rainbow S ranks are incredibly easy to get thanks to the shield potion though. True no-hit runs with the mech would be much harder.
@Brendan Maher I know. But some levels have shields super far into the level. Still gotta get to those shields.
Sadly while the concept is really cool I thought this was one of the weakest stages in the game.
