his lyric pattern is also very unique with his fairly fast delivery. Love the song Z28 because of the pacing. There wasn't a man with better hair either 😁
Static x will always be one of the most original metal bands ever, no one can ever do nor copy nor perform the way they do let’s not mourn Wayne’s passing but celebrate the amazing music he made for us with static x as well as his solo work.
So, in 2011, I got stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. Wayne Static was doing a promotion of his solo album "Pig Destroyer" at Hooligans night club. He played one song of his solo album, the rest of his set was playing Static-X songs, including Destroyer. Wayne Static looked good too on stage, he looked like he worked out, his wife was one of of the dancers on stage. Good memories. Just thought you like I share that memory with you.
Same here, I regret never having seen them live before Wayne's passing especially since they were the band that got me into metal in the first place. I finally saw them in San Francisco last night and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. The gang is doing a phenomenal job of keeping the band and Wayne's legacy alive.
Saw em in Dallas...it was Morbid Angel, Static X, Slayer and Pantera. Wayne was playing all of the Gibson Gothic guitars but what I remember most was how much it sounded just like the album. I didn't think any band could play that tight but they've always been one of the more impressive bands I've seen.
DUUUUUDE....that made me laugh pretty good! I think I'm going to start a folder with the same name if you don't mind...this song will definitely be in it haha!!
I love everything about the band but what I love the most is the rhythm section, Tony's bass lines combined with the amazing double foot pedal drumming of Ken or Nick.
I saw Static-X once in concert and it set the bar for all other concerts I've ever been to. So, tonight in my drunken state, I will seek out all Static-X videos and post this comment. Wayne Static, you brought joy to my life. I'm sorry you went the way you did. I'm here and I still love you. Jazz
"Drink a 40 like it doesn't matter" I will Static, I'll drink this 40 for you man. RIP man this was my favorite music video on HeadBangers Ball when i was in high school.
I can honestly say that static-x has played the biggest musical role in my life ever since I heard Wisconsin death trip album. I have ear raped so many of my friends and family forcing them to listen to music that makes me feel so much more alive than any other band. RIP my dear friend and know that I'll be listening to you when I'm 80. You'll never be gone. Sincerely a true fan

I was 16 when I first heard them... I went nuts for their sound. I mean, I always loved bands like Megadeth and Pantera, but their look and sound was like a beautiful combination of electronic and metal. I loved it from the start. I'm 36 now, and 20 years later they are still amazing. It's just too bad...
I get the goosebumps everytime I watch along, thank you for being in my life as I grew up into who I am, I will always miss you & a few others, I hope you're all jamming out or relaxing, you were such a gem
Such a good band. So many good memories while listening to this. RIP Wayne Static. Xerox, keep up the good work! I hope one day I might see you beautiful people in concert!
That base line. This song just oozes my brain to shreds. Static-X just has that kind of energy and vibe to it that makes me twitch and want to slam shit.
Man Wayne, I miss you man, walking into Gabe's house and seeing you playing with his daughter when you were in town for a show. Talking about regular stuff and being regular people. You taught me to see the talent in music that I dismissed just because it wasn't my preferred sound or genre. Well, keep rockin the afterlife brother, you are missed.
Amazing to think that such a simple song like this one sounds so good. Rip wayne. Thanks for letting me experience awesome music in my childhood. And thank you for making that awesome music easy to play.
He played in my hometown of Topeka in 2012 and I was beyond impressed. Seeing a childhood star of mine shine on that stage was beyond ✨. How he even agreed to come here makes me happy he even gave us the chance and it was worth it for all!!!! RiP wstatic!!
I remember when this album just came out and they were on the bill for Ozzfest 2007 and i got to see them on a hot day here in Wisconsin with my dad and holy shit, they were fucking killer that day!!
I got to see them live in 2007 and they fucking ruled I was blown away. I was at the gig to see Megadeth but Static X were the best band of the day massive energy.
Yeah, but, when it came down to it, Static X and Wayne Static weren't really in the same class as the Megadeths and Metallicas of the world. Or Anthrax, or Slayer, ect., ect. Nice hairdo though.
