I love your idea of Brainiac wanting to collect Martian Manhunter. It reminds me of that one episode of Superman TAS when The Preserver tries to collect Superman and Lobo.
I could see scarecrow wanting to help take down Martian Manhunter so he can study how his toxin would affect creatures from other worlds. Maybe he would even hope to learn how to harness Martian man hunters, mind, control abilities, so scarecrow could attack peoples minds without the toxic.
It could get worse, he would try to obtain his shapeshifting powers as well so he can morph into what they fear as well. He would be even more worthy of the Yellow Lantern Corps then ever before.
I could kind of see Sinestro joining a team to take down Martian Manhunter. Even when he was a Green Lantern, the Martians were seen as a threat, so I’m sure he knows how to deal with one, and as a member of the justice league, he would be a threat to this Sinestro Corp
I always liked Martian Manhunter’s old foes of Arnold Hugo, a genius scientist with an enlarged brain, and Human Flame, a man with a flamethrower suit, though that’s because I like Martian Manhunter facing off against (relatively) average men.
My personalized Sinister six for Jon is: -Malefic(the one that assembles the team and a dark mirror to the hero); -Human Flame(arrogant lame villain who could be really powerfull,kinda like Electro); -Protex(powerful White Martian.He and Malefic butt heads because of that.He also wants to be seen as a hero); -Doctor Trapp(Unhinged normal villain guy.Master planer and the one who most likely gonna betray the team first); -Osprey(armored villain with flaming wings.He's the Vulture of the team); -Lobo(Alien bounty hunter with super regeneration).
I love Martian Manhunter so much. He’s in my top 10 for DC characters and is criminally underrated and sidelined. In a sense he’s the heart of the League, I really hope we see him in the DCU

I think having MM go against a team of hotheads (pun intended) and forcing him to use his intellect to divide and conquer would be quite entertaining. Martian Manhunter definitely needs more villains, but then again it’s hard to create original and interesting villains when you’re as big as DC with so many heroes and villains.

I was just thinking how Martian manhunter deserves more content, I’d enjoy watching a dc animated movie with only him in it and maybe Superman being in the background as an inspiration for him
I think Dr. Trapp should be in Martian Manhunter's Sinister Six. He starts off as a normal guy who makes traps, only to slowly learn about Manhunter's weakness to fire and exploit it. Trapp eventually improves his snares with anti-Martian precautions: energy fields that match J'onn's density, bubbles that adapt to whatever form he takes, anti-invisibility fields, kinetic energy absorption devices to counter super-strength. Trapp respects J'onn's ability to adapt and wants a worthy opponent.

well if i was to make sinister six for MM . I'd pick: 1. ma'alefa'ak -since he is the only martian manhunter villain I know 2. a white martian 3. Sungirl -like you said she is a miss martian villain and you need fire in this team 4. simon (i don't think i spelled his name right but the telepath who was practically miss martian's arch enemy in young justice) - a human telepath is needed 5. Brainiac - he would definitely want to collect the last green martian 6. some other heat based villain, firefly was a good pick

Cayan only hates J'onn because of what his brother did so I can't see him teaming up with said hated brother. I could however see Dkay working with him. I think Malefic is like Green Goblin in that he should be on his own, either that or working for Darksied. I'll have my own roster up soon
I think a telepathic focused team is needed. Manchester Black, Gorilla Grodd, His brother in disguise or a white Martian, Bette Noir, Maxwell Lord & Despero. Way overpowered but I’d be hyped to see J’onn in a mental battle. Team leader either Despero, or all of them have been taken control of by Starro. As for a more random assortment… Vandal Savage, John’s twin brother, Sinestro, Mongul, Grail, & Maxima. Malefac’ works with savage to get the other space heavy hitters to target J’onn in almost an evil Justice league J’onn must face on his own.
Team 2 for the win! I could also see Amanda Waller putting together a team to capture MM and experiment on him. Maybe throw in Gorilla Grodd to counter MM's telepathy

There’s also a fun method of white Martians posing as heroes that’s been done, though some notable villains could be revealed to be white Martians instead. Honestly many Superman rogues work well with J’onn too. Luther, Braniac, Darkseid, Maxima, Mongul, Lobo just to name a few. Plus how has J’onn never gotten involved in a fight between Wonder Woman & Ares (Mars)? That story of a man of peace destroyed by war fighting the god of war just writes itself. Still it’d be nice if J’onn had his own elite group of villains.

You know what I just realized. Martian Manhunter and Apocalypse from X-men essentially have the same powerset. Apocalypse has complete molecular control over his body allowing him to gain superhuman strength, the ability to change his size mass and density, he can shapeshift, super stretch, intangibility, telepathy and that's all without celestial technology which gives those powers a boost. But they can pretty much do the same thing. Therefore, J'onn J'onns should be as feared and respected as Apocalypse from Marvel.

Are there any new stories on Martian Manhunter to create a more complete rogues gallery? I was just sitting here thinking about a villain that could attack Martian Manhunter as an alien and attack J'onn J'onzz will as a black man. Similar to the way the Penguin is to Batman.
He has next to no villains that are specific to him. It's unfortunate. Even after making this video there are really only 2 villains of his that are memorable to me. Malefic and Bette Noir.
