Simply put your video for this is the best it's right to the point no extra BS and you're very patient thank you very much
For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself. Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.
Can’t help but to reiterate what so many have already said. Amazingly concise video with simple, clear instruction. Thank you.
Dang I’ve been rigging mine up really weird for the past couple of months, this helped a lot. Much appreciated man!
I’m so glad I decided to look this process up. Although I’m on my 3rd grass trimmer. Your video was clear, concise and informative. You spoke at a great pace and with good tone. Thank you, king for sharing your knowledge.

ghost 613 😂😂😂😂😂crack up . Same hey
😂😂😂 I relate. Mine is going to someone else!
Lmao it’s sad when you’re a welder/fabricator and can’t string a fkn weed eater like this one. 🤦♂️ the last vid I watched tried to show me how to string the old one I had which is def not the same way or even in the same direction. Was confused as hell for a hot min there.
@@Scott-xc5sg I'm also a welder/fabricator. Who makes these damn weedeaters? lol
Literally the most simple, clear tutorial for this topic ever. I’m 14 and this is my first time ever trying to re-string a weed whacker and you made it very easy👍
Oh my god thank you!! I watched so much videos. Yours was the golden one. I was going fly my weedwacker on the road.. lol I'm a woman the struggle was real til I came across your video. Thank you for sharing!!!!
I'm really impressed that you have a 6-foot wingspan
I think I come back to this once every spring. Thank you
Thank You Sir, excellent easy to follow video, I also might add that the Wal-Mart Hyper tough head is designed the same way. Your Video is the only video I could find on youtube for this, thumbs up!!!
Excellent video. You are quick, to the point, calm and very clear. Great job! To those who downvoted, what video are you watching?
ty sir welldone you need to be in radio!
Best how to video I have seen on how to string the weed eater. Works just the same way with the Hypertough weedeater.
Thanks family, very helpful and understanding 🐐🫡
Best video I found so far for the type of weed eater I have.
All these years I been wondering why I run through spools quickly 😂 thanks bro you definitely broke it down and this will help me landscape my home more effectively
Well, glad I found this AFTER I struggled through trying to watch videos and already gave it a test run...good to know I did it, the hard way but, correctly. Knowingly how to use those notches sure would have saved me a solid 20 minutes. Thing kept unspooling and one video told me I shouldn't have to disassemble the head at all. Lies. I've saved this so when I have to do it again it doesn't take an embarrassing amount of time.
Also, thank you for just getting to the point.
Thank you so very much. I'm a first timer with taking care of my lawn. This helps so much
Thank you I understood every word. Your voice is very calming after trying to do it wrong for a hour finally grab hubby and said lets watch how its done. Thank You we got it done nice and easy after watching you.MORE MORE More....
I've already been trying to restring my weed wacker since last summer thank you for making this video I was in dire need of using my weed whacker
Fuc# an a. Thank you. My wife bought this thing 6 years ago. Worked great for 4 years (didn't use it a lot but it started every time). Been in storage for 2 years and couldn't find a video on how to change the wire. Thank you.
Glad I could help
Omg thak you so much! Have owned my trimmer for 3 yrs and always had difficulty doing this nad realized ive been doing this wrong ugh! Thanks again for sharing😊
Short accurate and right to the point. Great video, i wish every RUclips was like this. Exactly what i needed to know.
Much appreciated buddy! In my mind I felt like Neo and you are Morpheus explaining the matrix to me, lol, in the best kind of way too!
i went back to wal mart for help on how to re string the trimmer i bought from them last year that i only used 4 times and couldnt remember how to restring . they didnt know shit and couldnt tell me a damn thing !! but your video made it clear to me how to do this and i thank u so much for your time in making the video !!
Thank you , thank you, thank you !!!!! This video was so easy to fallow...the cap on mine was very tight so after watching how you took off the cap I was able to choose the proper tools to get it done... some videos were showing to pry the cap off with a flathead screw driver .. thanks again.
Just about folded mine in half before I watched this video good job sir much appreciated!
Thank you this my first time using of of these. Thanks for the simple and straight info.
Thanks for the video. I have basically the same trimmer just yellow color. I read the instructions on how to restring the trimmer but was still lost. I was trying to use one string and didn't even think to use two. I also didn't realize the string size markings on the spool itself. Thanks for clearing that up for me/us.
Thank you. I failed to align the slots in the spool with the holes in the hub. And that is why my line would not feed properly, You showed the correct way.
Can't tell you how much you helped this Canadian!
Thank you so much! This is just what I needed. The operators manual reads like stereo instructions lol.
I've been doing this wrong for a year. No wonder it doesn't feed properly!!
Thanx for the easy to follow instructions!!
Awesome I knew somebody had this figured out & could explain without extra bs. Thanx.
Thank you for your excellent explanations, because they helped me a lot 👍

Thank sir, I been having problems forever, finally went to RUclips video was verul helpful.

Wrong. Thanks for this video- made this easy!
Your channel has been my one stop for everything recently from politics to spoiling a weed eater. Now I’m considering a CWI career after being a welder for 7 years. Thank you
Perfect video. Short, to the point, and articulated clearly. - thanks, my dude. Much appreciated.
You're the man!!! Thank you so much for your help!
Omg.. this video saved my yard. Thank you for the video!!

Thank you so much for this info. First time I got dual string line in so many years and I got it wrong when replacing. This video really helps.
You saved me a new weed eater.
I have the same trimmer, thank you so much.. this video taught me how to put string on it now.
Thank you so much... Never knew what the Slots were for or how to double string.
Thanks, buddy! I used to live in and have my own landscaping side business in Columbus, Ohio and I hardly ever did any trimming or cutting but I did have a weedeater that I bought the pre-spooled string for. The problem with that is that you only have to pop it in and there's no learning to restring involved. My passion and experience lies in landscaping design and not so much the cut and trim part of it. This helped me tremendously! God bless, brother!

Thank you!! Instructions easy to understand. Great voice!
Thank you!! I am learning a lot on how to take better care of my property. First weedwacker! When it got jammed I was so frustrated, but your video made it simple to restring and fix the problem.
Thank you..the .095 is the right stuff ..others on here. Are suggesting .065 and other sizes. Thank you ...
Excellent directions! Thank you so much!

Thank you no issues after watching your video
Thanks so much for the help!!! You got a little Scottie Pippen vibe to your voice, man. Very cool!
Thanks, it worked just like you explained and displayed in the tutorial.
Thank you. Video was great. Detailed info was great.
This was perfect for my husband!!!! Thank you!!!!
Good, clear instructions that will help me a lot. Thanks.
Thanks! Very informative and well made video...and very quick and to the point!
Fair play my friend I scratched my head for years over this. You just solved it for me.
Best Wishes from England 👍🏻
I tell you the orange weed eater line Works a whole lot better than the Yellow Twisted weed eater line that I used. The orange stuff .095 seems to work the best and comes out when you actually bump the button. The yellow twisted stuff i used just breaks apart and doesn't do half the job as the orange stuff. Amazing what a difference the string actually makes!
thanks great instructions well presented
Are you a teacher or instructor? if not you really need to consider the possibility because you have the knack for being very articulate in a direct and concise way.
Nice description and video... thank you
Very good and straight to the point worked like a charm thanks.
Perfectly clear instructions. Thank you!!!
Very helpful. I was about to throw my edger out as manual wasn’t helpful. You saved me from trashing mine and buying another. Simple to understand the way you explained it. Well done sir!
Thank you very much, cant believe how hard it is to find this info. Great tutorial!!
Thanks fellow yard man!
Thank you so much!!! This was a great help to me. I learn much better from watching than reading and you were terrific. Glad to find your channel and follow.
Thanks buddy! Great instructions AND WELL DONE! I forget how to do this every year and you helped big time!
Hunter said it has been couple of months. I been doing it wrong for YEARS!!!!
Thanks My Guy🏆
You are welcome
Perfect my friend. Thank you 😊
Man...thanks for sharing this video.. I've been doing it all wrong...
Great video very helpful I have the older model like you and this was perfect thank you
TY. Spool clockwise then flip it over and insert. Two strings pop into top and bottom holes.
