personally, i only cook vegan food for myself and just eat vegetarian when i eat out. it’s the best i can do right now and that’s what matters! i’ll be fully vegan some day but, with a history of an eating disorder, worrying so much about food is not so realistic for me. i’m glad you tried this out and had a good time! be easy on yourself and just figure out how to do the best you can to reduce your animal product consumption. starting small and making incremental changes, with an end goal in mind, is the way to go!
I totally feel you on this comment, as someone with an eating disorder past also. I just got back from Greece and didn't wish to explain to every waiter that I don't want milk or eggs in their veggie options, which mostly are vegan anyway if you order the right things. But sometimes they sprinkle cheese on or serve with a yogurt zip. I would rather support veggie options when out rather than eat meat so to me, that's still making a difference and showing a demand for veggie options in restaurants. I got really stressed about this when I was last there, so I decided to just do my best this time. But you still get the light shone on you sometimes cos you're restricting most animal products lol.
I do pretty much the same. I live in a country where I don't speak the language well enough to always interrogate everyone about whether there is a bit of milk in something. I always avoid meat and fish and just generally try to avoid other animal products 9 times out of 10. It's not perfect but I am happy with this approach as I can do my best without being seen as 'difficult' by non-vegans who cook for me.

As a vegan I love this video. In my mind, true veganism is about harm reduction not perfection, and I love how you didn't beat yourself up over little slip ups and talked about us all just doing a little better collectively. Thanks for brightening up my day with this video.
I love how you really did give it a good try! Some youtubers make it look so dang impossible, but you showed how many great foods you can have if you really try, even when you're just a newbie vegan. It's all about learning what you can have and where you can find the alternatives :) I love this video and you did a really great job! Also I find you just adorable.
As a vegan I’m even proud of people for swapping to soy/almond milk or if they are interested in trying vegan meals I make for myself 😊 there’s extremists in every lifestyle (not just veganism)
For anyone that’s vegan with environmental thoughts, avoid almond milk. It takes so so much water to produce. Soya and oat milk are the best milks for the environment
@@isla2593 I`m way late to this discussion but i`ve been mostly vegan for years now .Then i had a nasty bout of gastroenteritis ,which left me with gastritis and anything dairy left my stomach burning.I tried soy first and never looked back.Aside from the benefits to your system ,it`s wonderfully soothing on the stomach and i`m hooked on the yoghurt and won`t eat any other kind:)..Baby steps ,but if it both helps the planet and keeps us healthy ,it`s got to be a positive.x
@@Joy-qw3wm hi, haha what's a few years. I think you've misunderstood, I wasn't saying vegan eating isn't unhealthy or bad for the planet, just almond milk specifically being a huge tax on resources such as water. Alternatives to almond milk (oat, soya etc) are far better for the environment than almonds, and if a driving reason for incorporating vegan meals was environmental concern then they'd be preferable. I'm sorry to hear about your health and I'm glad youve found a diet that works :) I love soya milk the most (especially in coffee) but rarely have it due to flatmates soya intolerance
Omg I love how you said Negative Nora! In the US, we say negative Nancy. I don’t know why, but it made me laugh so hard to hear you say negative Nora! So cute!
DCIPhan that is so funny!!! I had totally forgotten about Negative Nellie until I just read your comment, but I’ve heard people say that before! What part of the US are you in? I’m in the Midwest
I'm vegan and I think honey is vegan depending on where you get it from. Large companies manufacturing honey is a big no for me, but we have a local store that sells locally harvested honey from local farmers, and I know all the farmers that sell their honey to the local store. They treat their bees SO WELL and their bees don't die to make the honey, along with helping the local environment (flowers and such). They don't even use smoke on their bees. So I don't see a problem with buying honey, just make sure you know where you're getting it from
Honey is not vegan because even if the bees don’t die, they still being exploited by people. And they make honey for themselves but not for people to steal it from them. There is also a very good documentary called More Than Honey
robyn I don’t understand how the exploitation can be ethical :( and people take away the honey that bees make for themselves to eat in winter to survive
the banana bread and chocolate tarts looked sooo good!!😍 well done girl! Mistakes exist to make us wiser. :) Being vegan is honestly quite easy (nowadays). I’m happy you gave it a try.
I've been vegan for about 5 months now after being vegitarian for 3 years and still mess up on occasion. No one can be perfect and we all make mistakes. You did great!
im vegan and don't even worry about the bagel, its the first week. over time, people learn that your vegan and if you're in a family or friends setting, they won't mind. its just a getting used to thing. once your intentions are fully set in stone, you'll realise that you would rather just have an awkward situation over going against your morals. maybe watch some documentaries and it will get heaps easier. transitioning is the hardest part. visit a vegan cafe and you'll realise how good it can be. by being plant based for 70% of your diet is doing so much already, you just gotta do you
Matilda Anderson hey, this is an OLD comment but, in your opinion, would it be bad if someone had hens with no cockerel, (so the eggs wouldn’t be fertilised) would you consider It to be “bad” if you were to eat those eggs
@@adamc3390 there isnt a rulebook for being vegan. Some people will say its bad, others, like me, would tell you to go ahead, since there is no cruelty involved. Its really up to you. The same way some vegans dont consider honey a non-vegan thing, and eat it.
Missing Artists I think having hens isn’t a bad thing because you know exactly how they are treated, what they eat etc. I buy my eggs from friends who have hens too because I know they are taken care of and aren’t from some giant factory with millions of hens in a tiny space.
new subscriber here! so nice to see people try being vegan, i think its so important for people to try it to at least cut down animal product usage, especially as we’re in an environmental crisis. you’re so likeable and friendly :D great video!
From my research, eating honey is good and supports bees. Bees often make a surplus of honey that’s way more than they need and it doesn’t hurt them or seriously disrupt their systems or health to harvest it if the beekeeper has proper education and equipment. Also if there is a demand for honey, beekeepers stay in business and bee populations can grow. It’s also a good idea to look up ways to support local native varieties of bee so they can continue to thrive in the community. Go bees! Edit: clarification
A lot of vegans swap out honey for agave which actually negatively affects the ecosystems and homes of animals in that area, not to mention agave has a super high glycemic index. I love to support local beekeepers and help the environment by buying locally sourced, ethical honey ❤❤
The bad thing about bees kept by beekeepers is that we need wild bees, and the bees kept by beekeepers carry diseases that kill the wild ones. And the bees get sugar water instead of their honey when humans take it from them.
Some tips that worked for me: Make sure you eat plenty of legumes, nuts and seeds whenever you would've had animal products, just don't eat everything like before but without meat/eggs/dairy. Do pick the whole grain version of everything. Also it could be worth checking if you could benefit from supplements (except for b12, if you're vegan this should be mandatory) like omega 3, D-vitamines, iron etc. Good luck with eating more plant based and based!
I love you so much this video is already great and I'm 37 seconds in. It took me forever to give up chicken. So if you want to be vegan please dont think you have to do it overnight. That is almost always what makes people go back to non vegan
I’m vegan and I think it’s perfectly normal to make mistakes, that’s how we learn and grow as people I think you gave it a really good shot well done x
Just found your channel and I’ve binged watched your videos because I just love your personality and your accent is so nice to listen to and is kind of soothing?
We do a cleanse once a year where as a family we eat only vegan! For the last 3 years it has inspired us to try vegan foods in baking and cooking more often! There are some recipes we love so much more in the vegan variety! Do what feels right for you!
I'm recovering from anorexia and I've been watching all your videos. I don't know what it is exactly, but I find you so inspiring and your vlogs have been one of the most beneficial distractions for me post-meals and snacks. So, thank you Grace :')
Grew an intolerance to red meat when I was around 18 years old and it started literally killing me so I went pescetarian and eventually vegetarian. Made me feel awful for a few weeks but I can definitely tell how much it benefited me in the long run. Good on you for trying out a vegan diet for a week because I haven't even went that far yet.
Honestly, watching this video has brought back the excitement of trying and finding and eating vegan food that I felt back when I started. Nowadays I'm brought down by all the toxic veganism that I'm seeing a lot of online and it's just sad seeing militant and purist vegans do more to turn people away from the movement than towards it with their attitude.
WOOOO go you!!!! I’m so glad you gave it a shot! That is more then most people are willing to do. I’m also so proud that you did research on it, because veganism goes far deeper than a diet. Also no vegan is perfect. I make mistakes along with every vegan.
being difficult in socia situations like that and going trough whatever hardships may be is all worth it because of all of the benefits and especially for the animals. but great video loved it 💓💘
First of all I just want to say that I'm thrilled you gave a vegan diet a go! I do just want to point out that most internal changes (drinking more water, eliminating certain foods or food groups, taking supplements) made to try and improve your skin will require much more than 5 days to see any change. In fact, when it comes to acne it takes about 3 months to see change.
Somehow came across this in 2020! I was a strict vegan for 4 years, however over the last year I've transitioned away from being 100% vegan as I didn't like the restriction and the fears around certain foods. I eat meat, dairy, fish and eggs now but not all the time, most things I eat are vegan as I was like that for such a long time but I think it's really important to have balance. Love your food videos loads, really refreshing to see someone eating like a normal person 🥰
Love this one. I'm not vegan but I try so hard to cut a lot animal products out of my diet and beauty products. I think the awareness we have now is fantastic and if we all try to swap out some of our products for vegan ones, we can really start to make a difference.
I think it’s such a misconception that vegans are aggressive. Some can be, however a lot are just grateful you tried it for a week! You did really well :) x
hey grace! no worries!! veganism is really hard, and it took my quite a while before i got the hang of it. so many things have non-vegan stuff that you wouldnt expect. as for being difficult, i used to and continue to feel bad about being difficult so usually i just dont eat... which sounds really bad, but i eat a bunch when i get back from an event! or i bring a snack with me if i expect there wont be much. it sounds hard but its not too bad :) and one day i think every gathering will have vegan options, we just arent at that point yet
Once you shift the mindset to I’m doing this to litrally save the planet you will go hungry for an hour you will be difficult when out etc it’s literally a massive change but once you do it you won’t go back
Only reason I went vegetarian was for the environment! 2 years later, I finally accepted I prefered being a flexitarian (75% vegetarian if I sum up what I eat in a month I guess) because life is so much easier and you don't feel like crap for cheating, instead I feel good about having a really good week of eating no meat or whatever... and it works better with my lifestyle: family with hunters, addicted to cheese, student on a budget with no time and will eat whatever if I don't have to cook it and who will eat whatever my grandma made because obviously, etc. But yeah the planet is a massive motivation either way to improve our habits
it was actually a good thing that you didn’t get the challenge perfect cause it just goes to show that we don't have a vegan option everywhere, especially when you’re out and nobody can’t answer you about the ingredients on the food, thanks for trying it and accepting your mistakes
It does take time to get things right it took me a year of being vegetarian before going vegan it's all about planning and asking especially when you go out. But it's so worth it with the health benefits and not harming animals.
As a vegan I'll admit there have been times I ate something and later on found out it wasnt vegan but you live and learn! You gave it a try and that makes a big difference 😁 I know first hand its very hard to make a switch like that especially going out where you can control whats in the food. You did great though, the animals thank you.
Bloody love this channel, only just found it and feel i have missed out! Just give shit a go! I've been vegan 5 years and I have made many a slip up. Particularly when eating out. My general tactic for dealing with the "I don't eat that" situation, especially at parties is to offer to bring something for me to have and to be shared. Also I always pre plan what I am going to eat when I go for meals. If you are genuinely interested in starting moving towards being more vegan then just take it slow, let yourself make mistakes and just keep being aware and positive :) never let anyone tell you you aren't doing something right. When it comes to anything in life if you are doing something that's better than doing nothing :)
This is def one of the more positive and well approached vegan videos I’ve seen recently! A lot of the things you pointed out and were worried about are things you get used to over time! I went so drastically from a full meat eater to vegan in a few weeks and I had to work out the kinks but after a few months you figure things out :) and yes even if you incorporate more vegan foods into your diet that would be great for the animals and the earth :)
I think you gave it a good go! I see what you’re saying about in a social setting but it’s not as hard as you’d think! You’re not being difficult, most people understand that it’s a personal choice, just like being non vegan is, and nowadays it’s accepted way more! I’ve never had a problem with it in my 4 years of being vegan 💪🏼
You can help the planet and your health by going vegan 3-4 days a week. You did a phenomenal job. I’m vegan but also gluten free and can’t eat soy lol, now that is hard.
I love that you always tell us when you do eat not to what you are trying for five days to a week cause we would never know but you still let us know so go you more Brownie points for you and respect as these are all outside of the normal days diet you have and BTW from the celery juicing video its rhubarb not celery leaves that are poisonous
It can be harder to go out and eat socially depending on where you are/where you go... I think what helps me is just remembering why I'm doing it. It just feels so important to me now that foods that have animal products in them don't even sound like food options. It gets better. At first it was for my health, and it still is AND I also educated myself on the ethics and that makes it so much easier to say no to what isn't vegan. It can make other's uncomfortable, but I have clear boundaries around that and I have to remember that I have to honour what makes serves me and my integrity and I'm not responsible for others.
I’m a vegan and this made me happy. I made so many mistakes when first going vegan because I had burgers with cheese in because they stated it was vegan also the first weeks of going vegan is overwhelming because your body is getting rid of meat and dairy
hello!! i’m vegetarian and for sausages i’d definitely suggest cauldron!! they are available at sainsbury’s 💖 for burgers, i’d recommend quorn breaded chicken burgers and sainsbury’s thin ‘beef’ burgers (they’re own brand and come in a pack of 8) which taste just like mcdonald’s burgers if you fry them in a pan with a little oil
I know you’re not officially a vegan but the Hellman’s vegan mayo tastes the exact same as normal mayo, we always give it to our friends without telling them and they never know😹😹
I make a vegan mayo which taste like Hellmans but a bit better (I'm vegetarian so I have tested them side by side, the vegan wins!). It's a standard recipe for vegan homemade mayo, but the oil I use is a walnut oil ^_^
Going cold turkey vegan is really difficult, it'd be awesome if you went vegan 6 days a week and then one day a week try but don't worry yourself too much. Try vegenase for mayo alternative xx Try sheeshs for cream cheese alternative and turfurky deli slices for cold meat alternatives xx
6 days a week I'd assume is actually more difficult than 7. Because you have to think "oh. This day not" like meals and that way slowly. Not "6 days a week"
Wait. What is a veggie deluxe?! Where I live McDonald’s (east coast of America) they have like no vegetarian/vegan options for like things other then fries
Where I live they have a soy patty that is completely vegan and there’s this completely vegan burger that is quite good all year around but then there’s also vegetarian campaign burgers that are constantly changed. Basically you can get all of the campaign burgers with meat, chicken or soy. They recently introduced falafel as well as some vegan sauces to go with it
My husband went vegan 5 days a week for a whole year, and from May this year, he finally went totally vegan. Now I have vegan diet few days a week for few months , I can aways see and feel the result xxx
I loved this video, well done for trying and keeping an open mind. I eat vegan most of the time but when I'm travelling or at a place where I can't control every ingredient I sometimes eat a vegetarian option. I would never eat meat or fish but I do 'slip up' from time to time with small amounts of dairy or egg in something. I don't personally believe you need to be 100% perfect to make a difference. If you ate mostly vegan with the odd mayo etc now and then, you'd still be doing extremely well!
Im a 100% at home / whenever possible in public vegan. Cudos to you for trying and being open minded. Every little bit helps. I've also been trying to make it a point to ask for more vegan options just because if there is demand I'm sure over time therell be more supply of vegan options.
Yes girl!!!!!!! Go you I’m loving the content lately but this topped it for me as I’m vegan myself. When I first went vegan I literally ate lettuce as a snack like an idiot hahah but now I am living my best vegan life 😂😂 xx
YES GRACKLE!!!!! Going vegan is the best thing you could ever do for yourself, the planet and of course the animals! You can get an abundance of vegan mayo in the UK by the way, Tesco even does a free from mayo!
They do vegan mayo fyi for next time. It's usually in the free from aisle, not the refrigerated one. But not every store sells it. My mum always buys it for when me and my vegan sister come home because her local Morrisons always stock it, and it's actually really nice.
I’m a vegan and for some reason your other videos had appeared on my main page for suggested videos. Eventually I got to this. I’m glad when people are willing to try plant based. Mistakes happen in the beginning so no worries
Honestly going vegan cold turkey can sometimes be hard. I first cut out red meat and then 6 months later went full vegetarian and then it took me another year and a half to go vegan and even then i still made a few mistakes. I’ve been vegan for nearly a year and would never go back
im 13 and the only vegan in my family so trip up all the time by accident, i am realy happy you tried out veganism and hope u might choose the vegan option every now and again. luv your videos x
I’ve been vegan for 3yrs and I think it’s been harder for my family to deal with than it has been for me! Bc of eating out etc, its hard to stay true to ur self when you don’t want to be annoying for everyone else but I guess you just gotta put it in perspective and go eat out places that have vegan menus, lots of restaurants in the UK do now, like Zizzi’s, Pizza express, Wagamama etc...
I've had to do elimination diets for health issues in the past. It takes a minimum of 3 months before your body will notice any changes from diets. That's what my doctor's and naturopathic doctor told me.
Would be amazing to see a video like: I attempted to be vegan for a month for example (doesnt matter if theres any slip ups etc.) And then seeing how you feel after the month xx
I don’t think people understand that alot of things you already eat are vegan, like bread, pasta, tomato sauce etc. Personally I also think people shouldn’t get crap for trying it or vegans messing up once in a while. The whole point is to LESSEN the use of animal products, so if someone has mayonnaise once or doesn’t read the label before buying something it doesn’t matter. I’m not vegan but I have switched my normal staple foods to vegan ones and I try to eat as little meat as possible. Every little thing helps, so if you just check to see if you can switch your mayo, butter, milk, canned goods etc. into vegan ones I would still salute you. Switch whatever you can and if you want to you can go vegan, but I think veganism gets a bad rep because of all the famous vegans that makes it look so intricate and difficult and judging normal people for not eating the way they do. When it comes to honey I don’t think we should stop buying it because bees help our agriculture and basically keeps the world alive lol and buying honey helps the bee keepers so they can continue their work and so on. In other words, allowing bees to produce honey helps the environment and our food production and the bees obviously are gonna do it even if we don’t buy their honey so why waste a good, healthy product that isn’t harming anyone 🤷♀️
As a vegan myself there really is no "perfect vegan" because there will be products with trace animal based ingredients that we might be unaware of (cereals, wax on produce) or things we have to use like medication or pet food so it's all about doing your best. I just love seeing people doing any small effort to live more plant based
I am vegan and this was great! I still make mistakes myself so don't worry. To all the nazivegans out there calm down and live your life, there are so many shitty people out there don't be one...
I'm a 15 year old vegan and I usually make my own dinners or my mum will just make a dinner for me as we all eat at different times. And I don't really go out to eat but if I do, I would go to half man half burger or TGIF. However there are loads of restaurants that do vegan options
If you could do a vegan challenge where you do everything from scratch, absolutely everything. And a rule is each meal must be well rounded, especially regarding getting enough complete proteins.
" Technically they are a living organism." Well, so are all plants. I think you did alright in this video, just remember that it's not that complicated and that everyone makes mistakes. It's easy to forget how many foods you already eat that are vegan.

GRACE YA DIDNT PUT THE CHOCOLATE TART IN THE DESCRIPTION
Omg I love how you said Negative Nora! In the US, we say negative Nancy. I don’t know why, but it made me laugh so hard to hear you say negative Nora! So cute!
Ashley Spesard I’m from the US and I say Negative Nellie! So much how it’s different even within one country
DCIPhan that is so funny!!! I had totally forgotten about Negative Nellie until I just read your comment, but I’ve heard people say that before! What part of the US are you in? I’m in the Midwest
Ashley Spesard I think we say Negative Nellie in the UK, too, because I've heard that more than Negative Nora. May any alliteration will do, lol.
Pamela Atkinson I’ve only heard of Debbie Downer. I’ve never heard of any of the “Negative” variations!
Ashley Spesard I’m from the south
such a random comment, but that denim blouse + your ponytail looked so incredibly amazing! your facial features + eyes really popped out!
So I don't see a problem with buying honey, just make sure you know where you're getting it from
same
Honey is not vegan because even if the bees don’t die, they still being exploited by people. And they make honey for themselves but not for people to steal it from them. There is also a very good documentary called More Than Honey
Sleeping Tiger i know but if it is locally sourced and you’re 100% sure it’s totally ethical i don’t see a problem
robyn I don’t understand how the exploitation can be ethical :( and people take away the honey that bees make for themselves to eat in winter to survive
Sleeping Tiger some beekeepers only take a minimal amount per hive (the excess that they don’t eat)
the banana bread and chocolate tarts looked sooo good!!😍 well done girl! Mistakes exist to make us wiser. :) Being vegan is honestly quite easy (nowadays). I’m happy you gave it a try.
Essi Maria they were quite yum I’m not gonna lie!! I was so shocked as to how much easier it was then when I did it like 2 years ago!
True
Did you know oreos are vegan as well?
kes lugt yeah!!! It’s great isn’t it!
But terrible for the environment
@@anitamontenegro66 uh how?
Millie Jarvis I think oreos contain (palm oil) which deforestation animal habitats:( but oreos here in New Zealand don’t!
Shaedon Ager Kia ora
I honestly don't understand how you don't have more subscribers you're videos are always bangin tbh
big time compliment x
Do what feels right for you!
have you ever tryed putting peanut butter in your banna bread my mum does that and its really good
where the bleach OH WOW, I haven’t but you really have changed the game with that 😍 don’t know why I didn’t think of that before!!!
Omg that sounds sooo good 😱😍
I would do that...but I’m peanut butter intolerant 😂
I'm recovering from anorexia and I've been watching all your videos. I don't know what it is exactly, but I find you so inspiring and your vlogs have been one of the most beneficial distractions for me post-meals and snacks. So, thank you Grace :')
Ahhhh thanks so much! Sending you positive vibes in your recovery x
I‘m vegan for 8 months now and i love that you gave it a chance🌱💚 you go giirl❤️
Dying over the voice changes.. i'm such a child 😂😂! You did so well, I would have crumbled on day 1 with cheese 😂! xo
I love how your house is very cottage styled it’s very cute. Btw 7k!!! Go you!! Xx
I am proud of you for standing up for your self and body ! We must listen to our body first
@@MysteriousBeingOfLight thank you :))
You did really well :) x
every vegan I've met has been aggressive about it w me even had to end a friendship over how judgemental one was towards me
Annette !! This made me so sad to read :( I have tons of vegan friends who aren’t really judgemental. Suppose everyone’s friend circle is different
hey grace! no worries!! veganism is really hard, and it took my quite a while before i got the hang of it. so many things have non-vegan stuff that you wouldnt expect. as for being difficult, i used to and continue to feel bad about being difficult so usually i just dont eat... which sounds really bad, but i eat a bunch when i get back from an event! or i bring a snack with me if i expect there wont be much. it sounds hard but its not too bad :) and one day i think every gathering will have vegan options, we just arent at that point yet
Her crunch sounds are so iconic
You can help the planet and your health by going vegan 3-4 days a week. You did a phenomenal job. I’m vegan but also gluten free and can’t eat soy lol, now that is hard.
Lilly Rose woah props to you that would be hard 👏🏻🙌🏻
Charlotte Mills thanks, it is very hard. But you get used to it and it becomes normal ✌🏼🌻
Or being vegan at home but not when u r out
I love that you always tell us when you do eat not to what you are trying for five days to a week cause we would never know but you still let us know so go you more Brownie points for you and respect as these are all outside of the normal days diet you have
and BTW from the celery juicing video its rhubarb not celery leaves that are poisonous
LOVE U commenting before I even finish watching the vid cuz I'm never this early
Kyla Gabriella YASSSS GALLLL! Here for the early squad oxoxoxox
Try vegenase for mayo alternative xx
Try sheeshs for cream cheese alternative and turfurky deli slices for cold meat alternatives xx
Mary Unity Yep! McDonalds in the UK have 3 or 4 vegan options including an apple pie!
In the US the fries aren’t even vegan
Raeanna Williams wait how
@@beeoutofthebox6942 This is false. They haven't done the whole beef thing in a long time. The fries, pies and salads are vegan.
BTW, Iceland has vegan range, their burgers are amazing!!! And for recipes, I love bosh and pick up lime recipes, they are all very tasty x
wow I'm hurt, I really wanted that recipe
I loved this video, well done for trying and keeping an open mind. I eat vegan most of the time but when I'm travelling or at a place where I can't control every ingredient I sometimes eat a vegetarian option. I would never eat meat or fish but I do 'slip up' from time to time with small amounts of dairy or egg in something. I don't personally believe you need to be 100% perfect to make a difference. If you ate mostly vegan with the odd mayo etc now and then, you'd still be doing extremely well!
You go girl! You don’t have to be perfect and dive into veganism right away! Like you said even small changes make a big difference ♥️
There are so many vegan mayos btw!!!! The chippa brand is my personal fave xx
YES GRACKLE!!!!! Going vegan is the best thing you could ever do for yourself, the planet and of course the animals! You can get an abundance of vegan mayo in the UK by the way, Tesco even does a free from mayo!
Penelope S does it taste like normal mayo!?
There are so many to try so you can see which one tastes the most similar to you, but yes, it's crazy what plants can replicate! :D
@@Grackle You are in luck! Tesco is launching new hellmanns vegan mayonnaise in a month!
Just popping past to say the Tesco Vegan Free From Mayo tastes AMAZING!
🤣 The added in hot dog eating shot was my favorite thing from this video. The banana bread looked so good, too.
Found your channel within the last week so binge watching all your videos, obviously. You are so funny!! Squits 😂😂
This is so random but did you get the vegan banana bread recipe from BBC good food because I made it yesterday and it’s really nice ahaha 😂😂😋😋
Yeah!!!
I've had to do elimination diets for health issues in the past. It takes a minimum of 3 months before your body will notice any changes from diets. That's what my doctor's and naturopathic doctor told me.
I thought this was “I went to Vegas for Five days, here’s what happened”
I'm so grateful i've discovered you b. You're amazing and I think I love you
Adriana oh stop that making me blush 🤠 thanks so much xxx
Grackle 🤭💗🎈
Awesome video! This came up in my suggestions box, subscribed after 2 mins of watching 😊 Well done for trying a Vegan diet / lifestyle ! xx
ahahahhaha the mushroom part cracked me up... plants are also technically a living organism so you would not be able to eat anything then...
i’m vegan and thank you for being open minded!!!
Yes ! So glad you made this video , can't wait to watch it xxx
ahhhhh fanksss hope you enjoyed it x
As a vegan myself there really is no "perfect vegan" because there will be products with trace animal based ingredients that we might be unaware of (cereals, wax on produce) or things we have to use like medication or pet food so it's all about doing your best. I just love seeing people doing any small effort to live more plant based
What recipe did you use for the vegan banana bread? Looked soooo good!!! 💗💗💗
I love your top you wore on the 5 day 💕🌸
Danielle Briggs Xo ahh thanks!! I’ve had it for about 3 years and saw it lurking in the back of my wardrobe and thought I’d crack it out
I am vegan and this was great! I still make mistakes myself so don't worry. To all the nazivegans out there calm down and live your life, there are so many shitty people out there don't be one...
Mushrooms and plants Are living organisms. Many plants defend themselves with pheromones when they perceive an attack.
Well done I’m impressed, some of the desserts you made looked so impressive 😊
Love your videos, always make me laugh as well as educate. 😊
" Technically they are a living organism." Well, so are all plants. I think you did alright in this video, just remember that it's not that complicated and that everyone makes mistakes. It's easy to forget how many foods you already eat that are vegan.
I love how creative your meals are!
Have you tried lactase for LI? I found it really helped me digest dairy when I felt like having it :)
Being a vegan people always assume I can’t eat anything. You can eat more than you think!
I've been a vegetarian for nearly a month which I want to continue, and maybe in the future I could become a vegan
Same here!! I stopped eating meat this lent and continued with no meat after :D I also might want to be vegan someday
That's amazing. It really is ok to transition slowly over time. Like just start by buying dairy free milk, for example.
back it again with this quality content, my veggie ass loves ya x
Ok fully omw to get them pretzels
The pretzels are honestly out of this world
I'm not vegan, but vegetarian (try to eat mostly plant based food, but eat like normal cake in birthdays ect.) :)
I must say I'm impressed how you really went into this lifestyle!
