ooo awesome to see. Question: So you can send sound over midi from the samples on the Circuit or use it to control a synth from the Ipad? How do you choose which sound it uses (sample from rhythm or synth engine). and Lastly can you still use the Grid FX and reverb, delay and what not? I have a Circuit Rhythm and just got my first ipad. im excited to try loopy pro but this looks awesome. I was unsure how the midi control stuff worked so this is cool to see it set up.
If you are using the Circuit as a midi controller it sends midi out on whichever of the 8 tracks you have selected on the Circuit. Within settings on the Circuit you can specify which midi channel each track is sending out. Then, on Korg Gadget for instance, I can specify which midi channel it receives midi from for each track. Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to route that audio back into Circuit to use the Grid FX or reverb in real time. I suppose in theory what you could do is use the Circuit as a controller for some hardware or software synth (like iPad synths) that has its own sequencer. You could use the Circuit to play in the notes to the synthesizer's internal sequencer. Then you could record that sequence into the Circuit and once it is loaded as a sample you could utilize the Grid FX. A little cumbersome but that would work.
That works really well, I have the Keystep 37 that I’ve used with it but iPad isn’t strong enough to power over camera kit. Gadget rules and I can’t believe more folks aren’t using it.
Wonderful!
Thanks my friend!

Love Gadget!
Mon-pele-yay 👍🏻
Haha thanks I was struggling! I’ve been there too (well in Vermont).
Instead of Circuit Rhythm I’ve got an Arturia Beatstep Pro.
