Roasted Carrot Soup! Be still my heart!! I had no idea they would still be crunchy!! Those looked amazing coming out of the canner! Loved having you participate in Canuary! You are awesome!

I love that you are canning "untested" recipes. Having to stick to a recipe while canning has been tough. It 's nice to see someone canning different stuff, and makes me feel that I can start canning some other stuff as well.

I made a split pea soup, and I couldn't find anywhere if I could blend all the other veggies in it as well. I just did it. So now seeing you make a split pea/carrot soup, makes me feel like I did the right thing.

I don't know what I like better.... the recipe or the fact that you can freeze carrots and have them come out so good! I had no idea you could do that. You have opened up a whole new world for me. Thank you

I am so glad you mentioned being able to smell your stuff while it was in the canner. That has been my biggest question when pressure canning because after watching a lot of how to pressure can videos I have never once heard anyone say they could smell it. I always thought I was doing something wrong!! I think that veteran pressure canners don’t think about all the little details that happen ‘during’ the canning period. Usually only the before and after. Thanks again! 😊
