I left Christianity for 8 years then came back two years ago.
Friends come and go but Jesus comes and stays, even when we don't see it or know the plans of the lord he knows where we are meant to go. Now look where he brought you Taylor, a beautiful wife who loves the lord, good health, a new platform to spread the good news of the gospel. His plan is always better than ours. I used to have so many suicidal thoughts throughout my life feeling worthless, but thank God I am loved, I am wanted and I have a purpose because of Jesus❤ so are you Taylor you have a great purpose here!

@@amwil4980 I’ve been there. I feel like there is always a constant battle within me. I desire to serve God and worship him but the sinful nature within me constantly tries to pull me back to the things of the world. It takes discipline to worship God and seek him when you don’t have any affection towards him. Feelings come and go but faith is what keeps you going. Sometimes I find myself unable to read or really get into deep prayer and all I can do is pray God I need you and I love you, help me to love you more.
I was a prodigal son for more then twenty years, i still am far from being sinless, and i will remain such until the day The Lord decides to take me with him.
I just wanted to thank you brother, i will allways be in dire need of reminders such as this testimony of yours, for slipping back into my evil ways is a mere whisper away from the Unholy One.

I backslided for over a year, fell in love with a christian but we both backslided, became wordly... We broke up not too long ago and I came back to God, I still struggle and have temptations but I miss how I was once i was born again, I miss God's presence and I pray and will continue to seek Him..
Hi I too going thru the same situation..at times I'm crying to God for restoring me.. I'm feeling good momentarily but next moment I'm feeling why I should pray to him if he is not answering my prayers..my heart has become hard n filled with hatred n pride that I don't need his help.. also at my work place I'm procrastinating things n wasted my career so much that I'm afraid to go to work n ashamed to show my face.. I'm more of a double minded person, please pray for me n guide me
there’s nothing as evil as the human heart. If we know this about ourselves how much more does God know. You believe there is one God, you do well, now you need to understand this, that the harder you push towards God the harder the enemy will try to wipe the floor with you. When you get stuck in your wicked ways and let it bring out sadness and grief, that is letting the enemy win. It comes down to the spirit vs the flesh, read galatians 5:16-26, and it will tell you how you ought to walk. You need to take courage, and understand He can give us all strength, and all things can be done through Christ, but He wants us to overcome through Christ. Because Jesus overcame, and if you do, then you are a manifestation of His life, so quit trying to do things yourself and get in the Word of God, because that is your weapon, your two edged sword. If Jesus is the Word, and He killed death, why do we think we don’t need the Word to overcome the bodies that we are in. We are fighting ourselves sister, so let God fight, because He already won, Jesus won for us. We are justified by faith, and if you have true faith, you will sin no more, and He will change you. Wow man! So encouraging thank you so much! I got saved at 18 years old (august of 2020) and was completely in love with Jesus for 1.5 years. Then I got a job serving at a restaurant and started taking Vyvanse (prescription drug) to help with working (I was diagnosed with ADHD in highs school, but definitely MISDIAGNOSED), and started to slowly grow distant from the Lord in my heart and started listening to bad music that had demonic lyrics (Juice Wrld music, “wasted” etc) not good. I don’t know if you’ve listened to Juice Wrld but he is very talented and his music can be extremely addicting when depressed and on certain medication but definitely evil lyrics lol, I would warn anyone to NOT listen to his music in general. And the last 1.5 years later (every day pretty much) I have been so convicted by the Lord and felt so much shame that I hesitated to be restored and tried to fix things myself. But now, he is indeed resorting me as of the last month. However, I feel so horrible I wanted to die at times, just like you said. But I want to have godly grief, not worldly grief. I love Jesus so much, I just want to be close to Him. Could you please pray for me brother? I would love that! I am so distraught… I’ve sinned so grievously.

Thank you for doing this video, I was walking really well with the Lord being born again; but I fell today in sin after a while; and I just felt so bad how I was walking in the spirit and then I fell. But now seeing your testimony has given me hope that God will forgive me if I confess and believe him and his word rather than what I’m feeling..

I'm glad I found a video like this my whole life I don't feel like I've ever been in a place where I've been aloud to mess up in my life and be shown grace and mercy I even feel like if I don't keep myself up in this walk and I fall away that God won't accept me back unto him and I be hearing people saying weird things like the attacks that come with it and I understand we must endure but I've been in isolation for a while more times than not since I got in my walk with God I'm not tryna idolize people but it's like I keep finding myself in more and more isolation like no one wants to be around me really I'm scared I won't be able to get it right before Jesus comes soon and although I been slipping a little I would always bounce right back but lately it's been getting harder living in a unhealthy living situation and no support spiritually I hope I make it to heaven idk why I feel like with me if I can't continue to try to pray and read and just walk my walk with God then that I'll be giving away to the enemy or something and I'm scared cus I told God all these things I've seen more discouraging than encouraging idk maybe God wants me to be comfortable with falling so he can show me he will still love me even if I fall but I heard people saying somethings when you fall away from God and it's like man bro everything I prayed for that I went to God for just for me to fall back like I never was with him makes me feel weird and I never met my real dad so I just wanted God to really show he didn't go nowhere and that even when I messed up that he'd still love me I didn't get too much of that when I was little that it's okay been falling back into lust and Ive been 4. Years free pornography and masterbation and I've been doing my to keep going but the lack of love in my life all around is making me fall back I need strength and love some kind of support I've prayed and prayed I need help some people I could hit up that wouldn't mind

This is a beautiful testimony and one that I will be referring to in the future if I need a reminder. The hard times tried to get to me, but I kept the faith and dove deeper into the Bible and my prayers. I also confided in my husband and he helped me so much. Praying for you. Stay in prayer. Even when you have lost all desire for everything, keep praying. Just be honest with God. Tell him you are struggling to love him and need help.

I identifying myself a lot with the beginning of this testimony. I was once full of joy to serve the Lord after my conversion, but i fell occasionally into until it was frequent and this sin led me to more sin. Now i feel totally hopeless and delivered to despair and sadness.

I love music too man! for awhile I used to glorify myself but through those bands but I learned how to play guitar, drums and bass and now I have joined my churches worship team who I play drums one week and play guitar the next or whatever they need so I can glorify God through the gifts he’s given me. I thank him so much for all my musical abilities and take no praise. God bless

My dear brother, read His loving word, He will bless you if you seek Him. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10. He says He restores the soul (Psalm 23:3). He tells us how much He loves us and comforts us in His word. If you start reading and it confuses you, pray then start somewhere else in the Bible. I was backslidden too but God brought me back to Himself. Had some things happen then I completely fell away for good and God took away the Holy Spirit from me.

Idk how i ran across this today. Christmas day. I feel like ive lost everything's sometimes as if im going crazy. Lost my Father. My job. My car isnt in the besg conditions. I overcomplain. My neighbor constantly harrasses me and my children. I feel hopeless worthless..etc..

Complaining brings out demons in the spirit realm it only brings out more suffering.
Yo bro how do I get back to God? I looked back on this video, I don’t have anyone discipling me or that many Christian friends and nobody currently helping me to stop backsliding (worst feeling) I feel so burdened and overcome need someone to help me , sad what I’ve done
You have to cry out to God and let him know exactly what you are feeling and what’s going on. Be honest about your struggles and then repent. You have to want to turn away from the sin in your life. Really examine what’s holding you back. What could be an idol in your life that’s preventing you from seeking God. A big one for me used to be video games. I would rather spend hours playing video games then spend 20 minutes reading and praying. These things are idols. A relationship takes work and it’s a two sided relationship. God can call your heart but you need to respond. Everything we do in the Christian walk is a response to what God has already done or is doing.
How are all these prodigals in the comments returning so easily? I fell away and I’m reprobate now. I can’t get back. I’ve been shown hell and everything. I’ve fought with EVERYTHING to get back

Is there hope for me. I've been running from God and I'm afraid to come back. Trusting in God and surrendering everything is very hard for me and I don't even know if I can. I keep on going back to my old ways but they dont satisfy as they used too, yet I dont wanna turn to God. I feel like I may be done for at times even though that may not be entirely what I desire. I dont know what to do. I just keep on running away
There is always hope for you. Jonah ran from God. Moses tried to run from God. Peter ran from Jesus and even cursed his name. People running from God is nothing new to him. I think the fact that you aren’t satisfied in your old ways shows you that nothing is going to satisfy except God. You don’t want to turn to God because the devil is a master liar and he wants to make you think it’s going to be so boring and uneventful. I used to think following God was going to be so lame and boring but it’s the only time I’m genuinely happy. Other things might satisfy you for a moment but it will always lose its excitement and you will have to find something else yet again. Only God gives the water that makes you thirst no more.

I have major demonic problems. Im backslidden on perverse porn alcohol overeating.
Prayed for you just now that God would give you victory over these areas. Open the word, get deep into prayer. Spend time with God. Actively fight against the temptations. He will give you the strength if you turn to him and cry out to him with an honest heart. Might not be instantly because he’s doing something in your life but he can and will give you victory.

This sounds just like what I went through but even after repenting and coming back I still feel afraid and like there’s a strain in my heart/center of my chest that won’t go, I still feel the Lord’s peace when I pray but the anxiety is constant what do I do?
At some point you have to forgive yourself. That feeling is a lie from the devil. He wants to keep a void between you and God and he will do that through guilt. Guilt causes you to not have a full enjoyable relationship with God.

I started living in sexual sin and I was doing this virtually with other women. I knew it was wrong but I kept on choosing to do it and refusing to confess it and repent from it. I feel like my faith is completely dead and my conscience seared. Is there any hope for me or am I too far gone
Fear not! You are never too far gone from salvation, ask God to soften your heart and repent of your sins. He wants you to return to him like the Prodigal Son, be patient and rest in the Lord. As he loves you and is eager for your return into his arms. God Bless and all the best on your faith journey! Frankly at times I feel the same way so you are not alone.

Took a while, but Psalm 23 says God will restore your soul. Pray and ask him to restore you.

@@wzrdbeatzz4317 So God brought me back by his grace. He really did some things in my life that had nothing to do with me seeking him at all. After he brought me back however it takes discipline. There are still times when I feel my heart being drawn back into the world but I have to dedicate myself to reading the word, praying, and listening to sermons. I recommend finding a pastor you really like listening too. I listen to a lot of sermons when I work out, or on lunch break etc whenever I have free time. The more you stay engaged with the things of God the more he speaks to you and draws you to himself.

I think that Video Game Addiction is NOT a sin, since I haven't did drugs had sex etc. But I do not read my Bible.
I don’t think playing video games is a sin. However if you make it an idol before God it is. I personally love video games
