Phineas and Ferb is seemingly the only Disney TV cartoon up to present to have its own holiday. It's been a thing for over a decade but the story of its legacy has yet to be told.
For the 13th edition of Platypus Day, we're gonna recap its brief history.

I can't get over the contagious enthusiasm in how you're describing all this, really takes me right into the hype despite the event itself obviously being long gone.
This video and the last one really shows how 2009-2012 really hit different. The Phineas fans today that weren't they will never know what it was like lol.I mainly just recall Platypus Walk and the episode premieres, especially Sidetrack/Primal Perry.
Man I never knew Phineas and Ferb fell off, I saw a clip Perry bullying Doof by messing with his food and felt bad cause they were frenemies

But yeah I’ve felt like they could bring it back and use it to help Platypus conservation and animal conservation in general instead of just show marketing. It’s literally perfect for that. Interview some wildlife conservationists, send some Disney stars to the San Diego zoo or to volunteer somewhere, film some bumpers (or whatever they do instead of that now), promote the brand, help nature. Especially now, it’s a really good time for media companies to start promoting environmental conservation.

Jeez Disney was crazy with promoting Phineas and Ferb back when it was still running. I get it was a popular show but still. Really hoping they don't go too crazy with the series returning next year.
Man remember the platypus day website when major monogram stared at you and sang in your face? Remember the Platy-bus that you hoped would come to your city but it never did? Ahhh those were the days

The irony of this whole thing is that I stopped watching Phineas and Ferb around the middle of season 3 so I think I forgot about *ALL* of this.
