    For further clarification, it IS an S2000 Clutch line that will replace the accumulator (Techna-Fit Stainless Steel Clutch Line Kit for 2000-2003 HONDA S2000 - HNCL-20). The picture on amazon does not match what it really is. Bleeding the clutch is the same process as bleeding the brakes, there's a zerk fitting on the clutch release cylinder, it also uses the same reservoir. Here's the link as well: amzn.to/33FEkAT

    So, I completed this modification using this video as an overall guide. Thank you again. Here is my experience on an ’07 Access can 4x4 Turd OR M6. New England rig, work done outside w/ front axle on ramps with cool to mild temps @ 25F-38F, makes for fumbling fingers.
    03:35 Recommendation: I removed the 4 x 14mm head bolts and nuts connecting the front driveshaft to the diff. Make accessing everything much easier. Do not drop a nut or you may be fishing it out of the cross member like me, which meant dropping the thin metal splash guard (not really a skid plate) and breaking off 1 of the 4 10mm headed bolts. (at least it will be easy to drill out and tap)
    04:28 3 days of soaking in PB blaster and liquid wrench is recommended for sure, but I also needed Mapp gas to free the fitting at the slave. Touchy location to use heat. Use a 10mm 6 point on the bleeder
    05:08 PITA, you got that right! I used a ¼ drive ratchet, ¼ drive impact swivel, and few wobble extensions to get one of the two. The other upper one I used 12 mm Truecraft flex socket combo wrench and it worked perfectly. Glad I don’t have to reinstall those bolts
    05:28 , 05:42 The original fitting is a flare fitting. The new hose uses the banjo bolts set up. The cast surface of my slave cylinder was rough/rusty enough that I could not get a seal. I had to remove the slave cylinder and file the cast surface flat. I then needed to go to Napa and pickup 2 more 10mm ID copper crush washers to complete the connection. One of the original washers was unusable again as it was imprinted w/ the previously coarse surface … drip, drip, drip…
    07:51 I used a MityVac hand pump and it worked fine. After loosening the bleeder, if you place grease around the threads it will prevent air from being drawn in from there. Keep the reservoir topped off and expect to wear some brake fluid.
    I haven’t driven the truck yet, but I will try to report back.

    I know the video's getting a bit old, but thank you so much for this. Just did this today on my 2019 Tacoma. Night and day difference. 10/10 video man. I've only driven about 50 miles without that stupid thing in my truck, but it's literally made me learn to love it again. For a while I was actually considering trading for an automatic. For anyone asking, this definitely works on a 3rd gen with the 3.5L. Actually a little easier on the 3rd gen by the looks of your video. Amazing how the 2nd and 3rd gen are so similar. I've used a few of your videos to work on my 19.

    Thank you.. ordered the hose for my '07 Tacoma M6. I have hated the cutch from day one after buying the truck. The engine RMP hang and the goofy variable grab point have been nothing but a hassle. I hope this takes me to what I expected the clutch feel to be.. Now if I could only get rid of the chirp.

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  3 года назад

      Sweet, it should help. I hated that weird/laggy clutch grab on the Taco and this definitely fixed it. The rev hang is unfortunately on the flywheel being so big and heavy.

    • @KFloTacoma
      @KFloTacoma  3 года назад

      Regarding the chirp, there is the clutch masters Throw out bearing (TOB) replacement that replaces the TOB assembly on the stock clutch system. It's typically the TOB that causes the chirp. www.clutchmasters.com/n16078-h-toyota-tacoma-and-fj-cruiser-6-speed-ra60-ra61/

      You know I have that same issue even after replacing the clutch the throw out bearing and getting the kit from URD that replaces the sleeve or whatever to make everything last longer even replaced the slave cylinder and is wonder and after all of that still occasionally not all the time but occasionally we'll get that Chirping sound so I'm starting to think it's that accumulator going bad that's another reason why I'm hoping hoping the delete kit will work for my 07FJ

    Doing this will void your warranty. There is a better way that won't void your warranty. It's called the accumulator delete disc, and it goes inside the accumulator, replacing the disc that was already in there. Once installed, nobody can tell it's there, and it won't void your warranty. Removing the accumulator or bypassing it will both be visible from the outside, and the dealer can/will easily be able to tell that it's been modded and can void your warranty for it. If you're not under warranty or don't care, then by all means, remove the whole thing. Otherwise, it's better to replace the disc inside the accumulator, so they don't know it's been modded.
