That'd be nice addition! There's a plugin for betterdiscord that let's you customise notification sounds, and change the volume of existing ones as well.
A feature I personally would like (I am about to turn my server into a community server for the community features). One thing I heard about is how the forum channels are good for cleaning up clustered categories, but my problem is that Discord doesn't have a feature to turn text channels into forum posts. So, you would need to make a category for archived text channels and start anew with forum posts. I actually saw I wasn't the only one wanting this, as there were forum posts about it from a year ago.
I really love the ideas of "calendar, to-do list and better account profile" These things will be a huge help for content creators, I would find this very beneficial and useful. Would be A LOT easier, too.
I think the custom themes post from Nelly was actually cool. The idea of a server custom theme, like 3DS downloadable themes can be 1 of 2 things which is actually pretty fun: 1. The server can have a normal theme, not anything crazy or 2. The server absolutely has a crazy theme to troll. I like the little gamble idea of that and think Discord should implement it tbh.
I feel weird about themes. On one hand I love customization, profile customization is really good, but the site-wide themes are so bad in my opinion. Some hurt my eyes and others look too jarring to use... why isn't there at least an AMOLED theme? Being able to select your own color would be great!
There is a desktop AMOLED theme actually. You need to enable it in experiments though and in order to get the experiments tab normally you would need a client mod. If you want to go through that I can provide more detailed instructions.

The biggest problem I'm actually experiencing is that I need to manually sync the permissions per channel instead of just enforcing it in the whole category. Which takes a ton of monotonous work.
I've always wanted some of these and wished there was a place to submit ideas where you can actually be heard. Some of my ideas were, more customizable profiles like to where you can add music. More customizable servers to where you can upload backgrounds to channels. A mute option to where you can select everything you want muted, including DMs that get muted at specific times a day or by clicking something.
Regarding the join servers for you permission, making it better instead of removing it is better; so you can still join servers without having to join the malicious ones, it’s much better. I like this feature, it’s just that we need to improve it a bit.
Complete DM history is what we need...like DMs disappear after they go down the list and get older and it's kinda annoying and gets difficult to search for a person too. Discord ASAP needs to add this feature of viewing EVERY DM you've made since the beginning, just like the 'Archived Chat' feature of WhatsApp

The join servers for you idea is actually really useful. It tells you if something adds you to a server, and tells the user an option to remove the bot immediately instead of scrolling through every single one of the bots you've authorised, which is honestly a painful process as there's no search to search through them all, and when you've authorised so many, people honestly can't be bothered. Having that would honestly make people's lives a whole lot easier
You can allow a role to be pinged or not, you can then also allow a role to ping any other role. That's it, nothing more, nothing less. And seeing how permissions bubble up, setting perms for each role, per role... would be a nightmare.

Honestly, Discord's theme selection should be accessible to everyone, not just Nitro users. What if people are broke? What if they don't want to risk getting scammed or have their details stolen? Customisation is an accessibility feature, not a pay-to-win feature.
true, like what about just local customization, where you can show people customization, but if you want to show profile themes and all that global stuff, you require to verify your email and have an account of 15 days old so that discord verifies that you are not a bot, you need email to make a discord account so it would work global and local would be an option and you wont need to verify every single time to use them, unless on new devices, so that hackers cannot just put animated text that says bad slur words, but if logged into from a new device and ip, you need to use a verification key [not physical] and you need to enter your password, this can be disabled by entering only your verification key, so that if you fly somewhere, you can just- oops didnt mean to send out a full blown idea!

1:03 just a small correction: RPC is not exactly meant for normal users, it's a extension made for developers to implement a status on peoples names when they are playing a game or using an application. The reason why it breaks the TOS is because it's running INSIDE Vencord, which is a client modification, but if you code an application using the RPC API then it does not break the TOS. 🤓
1 feature I'd like to have is a keyword notifier, aka you put words in keyword notifier's text field, and if anyone says those words in any server, notifier will notify you that someone said the keyword(s) in this server/dm-group. Skype had it and it was useful for getting to know if people were talking about a specific subject or if they just said my name etc, and this feature would especially be useful in Discord since servers and moderating have become quite a big thing.

I think some people might get behind me on this, but what about a read all notifications feature and you can exclude servers from it through settings. Also another good one would be a Notification Whitelist so you can easily whitelist servers that can send you notifictions.

Full HE formats support on all platforms. HEVC, HEIC/HEIF, h.265. Is needed. Especially since only the bleeding edge newest devices actually have full AV1 support and not everyone has that very expensive tech. Whereas very good software HEVC (and AVC) codecs exist and hardware support is also very present on all hardware made after 2015. Discord should also switch to x264 and x265 for the software codecs they use as both are better than the currently used “solution”. Back to my pricing example: for full AV1 support on windows I would have to purchase an entirely new PC or at least an entirely new GPU. For HEVC i pay $0.99 for the windows HEVC extensions and i don’t need to buy a new computer. On iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS HEVC is Natively supported and bundled with the OS and device. On android it is also natively supported on modern android devices. I’d rather use HEVC on my current computer than have to buy an whole new computer to use AV1 where I don’t even know if it’ll actually be visible or utilized by other people watching my stream.

The main thing I want is just some basic solid colour custom themes without needing nitro, as shown in the video with literally the same colour picker you use for roles
If anyone cares, the translation is wacky : tsumori is used when you plan to do something. "i plan to die alone", which is quite different from "im gonna die alone" since the later does not show any intent of doing so. depending on what tool is used for translation, it may actually hurt more than help, not all tools are equally good on all languages (some are better for X or Y languages but wackier on A or B languages).
Additional text formatting features, like alignment. Also would be nice if a channel could optionally be flagged to start from the top of the first post, rather than the bottom of the latest post.

i found a kinda exploit: if you invite someone using an event invite, it wont show you making an invite and someone joining with it on audit log, so if youre in a small server, now with the ability for everybody to make events you can invite people without anybody knowing. or use somebody elses event link.

All of these are a must have, and that's exactly why I use vencord. If Discord doesn't provide me these basic easy, yet usefull things, then yeah I'll break the rules.
Its funny that you mention Discord should just steal features from Guilded, because Guilded has all those features. It seems like it would be simpler to just use Guilded.
if discord added custom themes and pinned dms (dm groups) i MAY just actually consider not using the betterdiscord they hate so much custom themes would have to include custom channel and link colors and the ability to add images and gifs as a background of course and save them as different themes so you dont have to keep remaking them everytime you switch, else it will forever just stand as a worse betterdiscord
the more you go over 100% the more distorted the sound is gona get, as digitally amplifying the volume of something is not the same as cranking the volume knob on a speaker. small defects get introduced, and the higer the volume is the more there are and they are easier to spot.
I actually made a RPC software using C# however it's kind of a pain to use since people have to make a Discord Application, Create a Rich Presence, upload images, etc.

JS is good for backend (express.js) and frontend (react.js, vue.js, next.js, you get the point.) C# is good for making Desktop Apps and you need to use C# to make UWP apps for platforms like Windows or Xbox in the form of APPX files.

Feature Discord needs to (re)add is the bug that allowed spaces and capital letters in text channel names. There's absolutely zero reason for this restriction that applies to text channels only. Voice channels can be called however you want, forum posts and threads can be called however you want, categories (which are also channels btw) - same thing. Why are the text channels an exception? And before you bring mentions, this has already been solved ages ago: mentions always were using special formatting, just like emojis, and for copy-pasting, Discord solved that too by adding #"This syntax". This would improve readability of channels a lot, and for neurodivergents like me, it would allow searching for the right channel much easier, because complete lowercase with dashes instead of spaces just makes names harder to differentiate.
I think it's literally just a holdover from the days of fucking IRC, because iirc you ALSO couldn't have spaces in IRC channel names and they weren't case-sensitive. But it's weird that Discord still has those requirements when it doesn't use IRC.
One thing you didn't mention- in my experience, the join servers for you permission also allows bots to leave a server for you when you are at the server limit.
Dont let devs add stuff... let community do it... There is nothing worse then devs charging u money for basic features that WAS and SUPPOSE to be always FREE. :)

The main thing I want is just some basic solid colour custom themes without needing nitro, as shown in the video with literally the same colour picker you use for roles
If anyone cares, the translation is wacky : tsumori is used when you plan to do something. "i plan to die alone", which is quite different from "im gonna die alone" since the later does not show any intent of doing so. depending on what tool is used for translation, it may actually hurt more than help, not all tools are equally good on all languages (some are better for X or Y languages but wackier on A or B languages).

i found a kinda exploit: if you invite someone using an event invite, it wont show you making an invite and someone joining with it on audit log, so if youre in a small server, now with the ability for everybody to make events you can invite people without anybody knowing. or use somebody elses event link.

I think the “to-do list channel” should just be a / command because I don’t want to have to move my mouse 2 centimetres to click on the to-do list channel to see it
All of these are a must have, and that's exactly why I use vencord. If Discord doesn't provide me these basic easy, yet usefull things, then yeah I'll break the rules.

Its funny that you mention Discord should just steal features from Guilded, because Guilded has all those features. It seems like it would be simpler to just use Guilded.
if discord added custom themes and pinned dms (dm groups) i MAY just actually consider not using the betterdiscord they hate so much
custom themes would have to include custom channel and link colors and the ability to add images and gifs as a background of course and save them as different themes so you dont have to keep remaking them everytime you switch, else it will forever just stand as a worse betterdiscord

Spotify is too loud but voice messages too silent. They should also add option to change volume of someone in the VC over 200%
the more you go over 100% the more distorted the sound is gona get, as digitally amplifying the volume of something is not the same as cranking the volume knob on a speaker. small defects get introduced, and the higer the volume is the more there are and they are easier to spot.
I actually made a RPC software using C# however it's kind of a pain to use since people have to make a Discord Application, Create a Rich Presence, upload images, etc.

@@hi-kt3qr That's simply not true. Different languages are good for different things. Python is good for Machine Learning and Data Science. JS is good for backend (express.js) and frontend (react.js, vue.js, next.js, you get the point.) C# is good for making Desktop Apps and you need to use C# to make UWP apps for platforms like Windows or Xbox in the form of APPX files.

Yes, you get an extension, like Stylus, and make the theme using CSS.

Blockbench got CSS support for the client, in which I can open it in the browser, get everything I need done there, and import it into Blockbench. (plus-minus some complications)

Feature Discord needs to (re)add is the bug that allowed spaces and capital letters in text channel names. There's absolutely zero reason for this restriction that applies to text channels only. Voice channels can be called however you want, forum posts and threads can be called however you want, categories (which are also channels btw) - same thing. Why are the text channels an exception? And before you bring mentions, this has already been solved ages ago: mentions always were using special formatting, just like emojis, and for copy-pasting, Discord solved that too by adding #"This syntax". This would improve readability of channels a lot, and for neurodivergents like me, it would allow searching for the right channel much easier, because complete lowercase with dashes instead of spaces just makes names harder to differentiate.
I think it's literally just a holdover from the days of fucking IRC, because iirc you ALSO couldn't have spaces in IRC channel names and they weren't case-sensitive. But it's weird that Discord still has those requirements when it doesn't use IRC.
It would be nice if in the near future Discord become as large as Facebook, and Twitter

One thing you didn't mention- in my experience, the join servers for you permission also allows bots to leave a server for you when you are at the server limit.
