I think in the original tale, a devilish mirror broke into pieces, and one of the pieces went into Kay's heart, so he began to hate everybody.But when he met the Snow Queen on her sledge, he was attracted by her. But it doesn't, this film is nice to watch... Thanks!
I also remember this from my early childhood. This was the best ever - unbeatable and has remained with me always. She truly was the Greatest Snow Queen of all. ------
I've notice some peoples comments they're not sure if the orginial title of this film is the snow queen, well in deed it is, there is another story Hans Chirstian Andensen wrote, its called mother snow or mother frost. It is a completely different story to the snow queen. The title sound similar which could be confusing people.
