In the world of Java modded, there was an old mod (Random Things? Open Blocks?) that added a new type of lamp called a lapis lazuli lamp. It looked and worked similar to a redstone lamp, except it was colored blue. It had the interesting feature of lighting an area up as brightly as normal light sources, except that mobs that needed darkness to spawn in could still spawn because the light level wasn't actually changed. This made it possible to see into a darkroom (using modded's version of tinted glass) without also disabling the spawning. I think because there are captured souls in the blue flame this could be a nifty little feature of the soul lights (either they work like the lapis lazuli lamps did, or perhaps they cause the light-level restriction to be ignored when a spawning attempt is made).
my dad has been stuck on the legacy console for years, and just recently he got onto the newest Minecraft version, I could show him this video to catch him up
There is a rarest block people have never seen. It doesn’t have a name but I'll call it... depleted nether reactor. It is like a shadow orb. And looks like the top of smithing table on all side.
