Just FYI, if you have allergies and have a persistent cough it's probably because you have post nasal drip. The cough is usually worse in the mornings because overnight the nasal congestion builds up. Robitussin won't really help that, but getting a nasal spray will (especially if used before bed). Just a tip for those suffering from allergies 🙂

I work in a lab and it’s ok to drink as much water as you can! That’s how you hydrate your veins and also that’s how you give us urine. It’s ok to drink black coffee as well. But, nothing else. Good luck with all your VA endeavors Missy!

Most fasting labs water and even black coffee is ok. Most times they want you hydrated so that the blood drawing experience is more successful so 9x out of 10 water is fine 🥰

I know how you feel when taking the medication. The trick that I used is drinking a small cup of ocean spray cranberry juice afterwords and you can’t hardly taste the nastiness anymore lol. My doctor said it’s perfectly fine to do that afterwords.

I used to take Robitussin with no problem...now Tylenol was a different story 🤮 I’ve switched to Elderberry as an adult and it isn’t too bad.

Fasting labs require that you don’t take in anything that “wakes up” your digestive system -so ROT-avoiding foods that contain the macros is always a safe bet. Water is fine.

I'll take the syrup medicine over taking pills. I swear they get stuck in my throat. I'm 45 and still can't take pills. Mucinex is another nasty cold medicine.

My mom swore by Robitussin...lol, but it never bothered me. I just wanted to get better. Also, yes I watch the Oval and I was hoping at least one character would keep some integrity, but after Sam faltered, I was like throw the whole show away. The Oval is definitely toxic & drama filled!
