Thanks for speaking on Veteran advocacy. My moms claim was grouped and only rated about 40%. Once she appealed and dug more she’s at 90%. Huge difference! Thank you for your service!

Thank you for that information Missy. My son was Air force branch and served for 7 years and he has issues sleeping, anxiety. He was military police at 18 years old and it affected him.Yes, the military, government should definitely pay our veterans for their service and any issues that came from serving. 🙏💜

I agree with you reference benefits. I don't believe it should be as difficult as it is for Soldiers (I'm Army) to get ALL benefits. When you complete your time you should automatically be rated 50%.

Missy, hey I’m an Air Force veteran too. If you need additional assistance with your claim let me know. Im at the highest rating now. I’m so sorry about everything that happened. But you’re my sister in arms. Get your 100% P&T. Always go to your VA appointments and act like it’s your worst day. Those raters don’t see you on your worst day. I fought 15 years for my rating, and finally got it. When I out processed TAPS sucked and needed to be longer.

Do you have any information for a US Navy Veteran with a rating of 30%? I have other approved disabilities that I only have a 0% rating for and I've been getting the run around since 2012 😩
@@MzButterfly05 hi! Sure I can. Remember 0% service connected is better than none at all, because you have issues but haven’t provided enough evidence yet.

I’m a Vet as well and have been questioning some of my ratings as well. I have a great rating also, but some things are not SC and it doesn’t make sense. I was nervous to, but I will definitely follow through on them. Thanks for the content!

Private chef is when you close blinds and all views of another while I get in the kitchen and do the damn thing. I have. A few skills beyond the average person cooking I picked up in life that certified schools teach. I hope to always learn in all things for even more all things to come. She should get connected with a social worker at the VA. Many people don’t know what to do when they get out and the laziness at the VA.

In addition, get connected with a social worker too that is also currently working so they can insure you get what you need after you have submitted everything. They will do the leg work for you. Everything she told you was correct. I always tell my Veterans to do what she said to do. That is what we are suppose to do as social workers at the VA. I feel that more veterans are not getting what they deserve and not given the support on what to do.
