Thanks to all the first responders 🙏🏾
I grew up in Pa. I had a thin ice experience on the Susquehanna River in 1977. After that I wore a life preserver under my winter jacket. No one could see it. That close call was frightening. I will never forget the experience.
Well done, guys!!! Death can come minutes. Thanks for a job "well done" ...or should I write, thanks for a "cool" rescue! 👍👍👍
Ron White: You can't fix stupid.
cops fell through
Thanks to these brave officers
Great job guys !
WOW! I thought the three stooges were all guys 😣
Lucky they had someone safe them.
good job first responders.
Betty White with the dirty bike.
The ice is thin where you are skating.
Winter gives the nation's idiots a hard time.
yeah the cops are idiots they fell through too
Grew up in NJ & skated outdoors every winter. We were told what ponds or lakes were frozen. The town doesn’t do that there in Netong? Fly the red or green flag? This seemed avoidable.
also grew up in nj but my dad bought a rink for our backyard for the winters
you have to swim back on to the ice kicking your feet
Why do we keep interfering with Darwinism...
Your *new* reality will be lots of snow from now on. Wait until the end of the Winter... 👍 (Remember the floods?)
Why? Because we in the biggest South Hemisphere country are "watering"/"wetting" our *semi-desert region* , using +- 50 dams, +1300km of artificial channels + natural rivers. In 2/2/22 we will start filling the biggest dam, "Castanhão", that has *+6 billion m3* capacity.
More water there, more vapour into the Atmosphere, more rain/snow/hail fall/storm somewhere, etc... 🙄
"Castanhão" has a *nominal* capacity of *6 bi m3* . Until today it only filled *1 time* . Needs *lots of water* to fill. Just to give you an idea, to fill only with the waters of "Chico": with a constant volume of 10m3/s it would take *19 years* to fill; with a constant volume of 26 m3/s (currently the max. volume captured from "Chico" River, excluding losses along the way) would take *7 years* to fill 👍
Obviously, with a very rainy "winter" in Ceará, it can fill up "easy" 👍
However It's new experiences...and save three people
babysitting adults - tax money well spent
