@@BondiRescueI don’t think it should be just guilt that haunts them for the rest of their life I think it should be charges: failure to report significant risk to human lives.
😂it's like being at a petrol station during a fire , shark=no swimming simple 😂some people just don't get it sometimes I get it if they can't hear the alarms but.....
When my mom was about ten years old, her family went down to Florida for summer vacation. This was the mid-70’s, and Jaws had just come out, so people were really anxious about shark sightings. My mom, her sister, and her dad went down to the beach while her mother stayed in their hotel room, which had a balcony overlooking the beach. Eventually, my grandmother saw something in the water. She screamed that it was a shark. It turned out to be a dolphin. But she’d cleared out the beach. And one of the lifeguards came by to ask her to please not do that again, lol.
Fun fact: sharks don’t actually want to hurt you, sharks dint have that much good vision. And some sharks are blind, the remotly rely on their smell and hearing. If you swim around/splash the shark will go to you thinking your a fish. But even if you don’t splash sharks rely on smell.
Some of this is true - Sharks often rely on smell to find their prey and can mistake humans for fish in distress but you are right they are not completely blind. Would you get out of the ocean if there was a shark sighting?
Salute to all parties involved in these situations. Hopefully no more of these situations become the norm more often. Just seeing shark bites on surfboards pulls my heart strings ya know.
the ‘shark survivor’ was amazing, he was determined to surf still with the warnings of sharks in bondi. I live In the uk, so I dont experience much sharks. He survived whilst loosing 3 litres of his blood. It’s crazy how u lifeguards signed up for this job. I couldn’t. I can’t even handle my own blood but you experience suicides and people jumping off cliffs. You even go in the sea your self when there’s a warning in of a shark. It shows how much ur dedicated with in ur visitors. Even though u don’t see some of the things what happen and u didn’t know u say u feel useless cause they died and I didn’t help. But u try ur hardest u resuscitate people and they survive but sometimes don’t. It’s just the incident what happened I’ve been watching this channel a while now there can be tragedy but if one patient goes only a lot more survive there’s a 10 percent out of a lot that there’s a shark attack. Love u guys, don’t worry don’t get things up ur sleeve (like honestly don’t get a shark up ur sleeve 😂) anyway keep trying and bye!
16:05 Jesse's Face 😂😂😂 don't worry sharks everywhere, but hard to sea from the surface. Cage Diving is not a good idea. It's dangerous for the sharks. They can stuck and sharks can't swim backwards so the will go further and will be hurt from the cage. Freediving is the best way to watch Sharks with natural behavior.
Many shark attacks are just exploratory bites, where the shark is feeling around and bumps into someone and then bites down to see what is there. It's kind of like dogs "mouthing" or using their mouths to feel people.
U should get a system where a drone flies down and up the beach live streaming to a tv in the tower where if the life guards look and and see it they know before helicopter or someone getting hurt
I thought there was a shark fence/net at Bondi. I live near an Atlantic Ocean beach that's had 1 shark attack several years ago, but I have no doubt it's because idiots on the nearby pier were chumming.

That doesn’t even look like a gummy shark bite my best friend got bit by a gummy shark PS the shark was swimming between the flag where he was supposed to. You know how you’re meant to swim in the flags that’s what I mean

Had small one run into me once before turning the other way and swimming off
