You are the first person I’ve seen gives real close-up shots of the stages of growth when you’re beginning. Especially with you having fine soft naturally curly hair. Because it gives a realistic view if you have hair like yours of what to expect and the patience you need to except it. Thank you so so so so so so so so so so so much.
Thank you for this comment. Sorry for the late reply I’m just now going through comments and realized I never seen yours. But I really appreciate you commenting how you felt about this video and how it helped you get a better perspective. 😊😊
One thing I noticed about your hair, even though it was blonde it was healthy your curls was full and bouncy. I just on did my locks after two months because my hair was not healthy in my hair was looking lamp even though it was starting to bud it was just look dead so I decided to detox my hair and I’m gonna need to go to Loctician for the parts because I want to see parts because I can’t see the back of my hair and I don’t have the patience to part my hair and I don’t have anybody to help so but thank you so much. I’m going to save your video for encouragement when I do loc it again.
Thank you, I’m going to be very honest, I achieved the blonde through trial and error 😭😂. But I pretty much bleached it until it was light enough then used a wella toner to take the brassiness out of the blonde. And after a few tries I got this. The only reason it took me so long is because the blonde wasn’t light enough to tone the first times.
Hey girl! Thank you so much for supporting, I’m so grateful to be able to inspire you to loc it uppp🥹 I’d say my hair is between 3C/4A textures. I’m excited for you on your journey your going to loveeee it and learn so much about yourself through the reflection 💜
Thank you ☺️ yeah I did them myself through two strand twist, I’d say wether you decide to do them yourself or not definitely get into the mindset of caring for them majority of the time yourself. It’s very intimate. But enjoy your journey, you’ll love it ✨
I’d agree that I think it depends on you as well as your hair type. I know for me one month in my head was a bit itchy so I decided to wash my scalp. You can determine your own regiments based on your needs. And one thing I noticed was spritzing your hair with water helped promote the hair to loc faster. But if you are locd or decide to loc let me know what worked best for you.

So pretty! Definitely using your journey as inspo. What texture would you say your hair is? Our hair looks similar but I’m just curious 🤍

I thought it was best to not wash your hair or even get it wet for 1 month ? is that wrong ?
I definitely washed mine and sprayed it with water but o feel like it depends on the hair textures too
