Having sung this under the direction of Paul J. Christiansen at Christmas Concerts and on tour, this is like the reincarnation of the emotional feelings, sounds, and everything else encompassed in this performance. The only difference was the soloist here is male, and a very good one. Either voice works, male or female, but it's all about the feelings of the text. Well done, all!
