A very demanding game, even the 4090 can't keep up. DLSS is set to 67%, which is DLSS Quality - 1440p. The Ray Tracing is Path Tracing. There's a 3-5 FPS hit from recording. 0:00 : 4K DLSS Quality 3:25 : 4K DLSS Quality + Frame Generation 6:39 : 4K Native + DLAA
I'm not sure why people are surprised, UE5 is already really demanding in general, slapping path tracing on top of it was only going to make it worse lol. This will be heavily taken out of contwxt on social media of course because people take fps counters as a literal definitive conclusion of a game's optimization without asking themselves why.
I hope people won't take it as a bad light, since this game has shown in this benchmark tool that it can scale very well, like any other unreal engine game! It probably would be able to run on portable devices too... just couple settings needs to be tweaked for it
@@FrozburnYTnah, it sucks lol. I always play 4K DLSSQ on my TV or 1440p DLAA on my monitor. DLSSQ @ 2.5K does not look good. Unfortunately thats what you need to run CP2077, Avatar (Unobtainium) and other path traced games at Max settings and Get 120fps…
We'll have to wait for the full game to see it in motion in different areas. It looked very nice, should be close to what they've shown us. Keep in mind that this is with Path Tracing, that's always going to be heavy. I'll test no ray tracing when the game comes out.
Path tracing is more of a 'lets see how much we can waste GPU resources' type of setting. With this off im guessing that the FPS doubles and the look changes slightly.
I try it 4k, Dlss quality (70%), fg on, rt off, Cinematic quality 100+ fps average With rtx 4090/ i7 12700k Its the way for play, rt is too much expensiv !
Waiting for it. This will be one of the first games I try on it just because of how demanding it is. Some of the leaks suggest 2025 tho so could be a while longer.
@@beatsbyshoroit doesnt have to be native. As a 4090 owner FG feels absolutely fantastic (as long as native frames are >30fps and 4K DLSSQ looks very close to native anyway. I will run 4K DLSSP w/FG and when I get 5090 I will try 4K DLAA with FG or 4K DLSSQ w/FG depending if I can get 120fps or not
@@stianlavender1683 I understand but i think the way game dev is pacing up it might take a while for gpus to finally outpace them. These insane ue5 games popped in like what? 9 months? Lol

I think that the only playable option is to set the dlss on performance with FG, also because the dlss 3.7 does a great job
4090@3000mhz and 13600K@6Ghz 4K dlss 50% FG all setting cinematic : got 130fps average with my 144hz screen i'm good 😀
try putting 1440p on high, not ultra. And enable dlss for quality and FG
Do people use DLSS Quality on 1440p? That's upscaling from 1706x960p. I might make a video on 1440p later.

@@FrozburnYT Yes for those that actually want max fps they do :)
Lossless scaling now also supports the g-sync
Ray tracing is the biggest scam Nvidia does...
4090 is no longer enough to play with dlss and frame generation😅
Path Tracing is always very heavy. We'll have to use DLSS Quality + FG in this one by the looks of it.
@@FrozburnYT RTPT+UE5 is even heavier.😅
@@FrozburnYTDLSS has to be at least at Balanced to play smooth on a 4090.
Looks like we need 5080
And still looks like junk... does not look like what the trailers showed. Hopefully there's patches for better performance in a few months.

RTX 5090 coming soon

Rt is the whole point to play modern games. They are just too boring, so if there is no rt they don't even worth playing.
Wow i was just about to ask did u run test for this game. Man this game is very demanding. So imagine with actual gameplay smh.
Indeed. This is with Path Tracing tho, not surprised that it's demanding.
5090 can't drop sooner
I doubt even that could pull of anything native
