What weapon you used?
@@Chappykinz I was a mage so had to spec a bit to be able to hold shield etc. used that in first phase to block Radagon attacks then used comet azur and comet on him.

There's no game that defeats me. I even beat sekiro without parrying. I never learned to do that right. I was stuck on this guy for 2 days. Wearing holy resistant armor really helps
Me, is that you? I used the Sekiro Goru strats for cheesing everything foe that game. Deflecting attacks is something I always had trouble timing right.
For Elden Beast however I did it on 4th try with Tiche/Rivers of Blood.
I dont think its possible to defeat foes Like isshin without parry

The Goru has a guide for cheesing Ishin. Super easy, got it on my 5th try because I kept being greedy instead of patient, but you can do it. Genichiro is easy, just Mikiri Counter which is simple enough. Ishin 1 have the AI perform the running two slash attack and then go in and you do two attacks. Rinse and repeat. Ishin 2 and 3 use the Fire Umbrella when you see the gun firing, wait for the jump, and then punish Ishin. For Ishin 3 if you feel comfortable with Lightning Reversal then go for it. At least, that's how I went about it.

For an added bonus, you can replace the Dragocrest shield Talisman +2 with the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman. Not too difficult to get.

I'm not a lost cause after all - thought I was after struggling against Elden Beast for days using my original build. Took a lot of advice from this video and it helped me stay alive long enough to take them both down. GOD SLAIN! Thanks, Guru!

I also beat elden ring with bow only, which was hellish and time consuming.
Elden beast is easily the worst final boss out of every souls game including bloodborne and sekiro, which had amazing final bosses.

Radagon was fun.
Elden beast is just a mess and the worst final boss in the entirety of souls games. Including bloodborne and sekiro, which had amazing final bosses btw.
Elden beast is just a huge slap in the face and icing on a shit cake.
There's so many things that make this boss fight objectively bad.
And this is coming from someone whos platinumed every fromsoft game besides Demon souls on ps5. Because i dont have a ps5.
All the years of playing fromsoft games, i can confidently say that elden beast is easily the worst final boss out of all fromsoft games.
It's not even hard for good reasons. It's just crappy AOE spam, tanking all damage including every status effect in the game, horrible camera when fighting it upclose and it constantly teleports across the arean in 2 seconds every time you hit it.
Ive killed elden beast on all 3 playthroughs, and each time was the most unpleasant and un fun time ive had beating a game.
Not because its hard. But because its just a crappy boss design hidden under shiny and pretty visuals.
Didn't want to bother with the whole chariot thing so I just used whatever I had for the armor bottoms, but still all the negation made one hell of a difference! Thanks for the build i'm now using the sacred relic to farm runes at moghwyn palace lol
You sir are a frickin genius! I used your recommended gear and chased that Lochness Monster Wannabe all over the map like a kid chasing an ice cream truck. I finally caught him and beat him into goo. I'm just sorry it went to a cutscene before I could T-bag him a couple of hundred times. Brilliant.

Thanks for the guide! Farmed the shield, and some of the more accessible armor. The Elden Beast battle became trivial, but it did require chasing old “dick neck” around for awhile.
The dragon crest great shield talisman is even stronger than the dragon crest talisman in this video just a option if anyone still needs a little more protection for the fight either way this is still the channel I always go to if I'm ever stuck beating my head againsta wall trying to defeat a boss

well apparently if you dont have the sanctified whetblade before you burn the tree you are out of luck for that part.
Melania is really tough but the Elden beast is the hardest boss in the game to me. I beat Melania with the mimic tear and a bleed build in about 15 to 20 tries. I am over 50 tries on the two boss end game combo with no break in between. I am going to try this method. I am beyond frustrated with the Elden beast.

I faced Radagon/Elden Beast for the first time yesterday, got EB down to about 1/8th of his health then his gold homing lasers killed me. 😑

i started playing this game having never played this series the closest thing would be runescape or skryim, I gave up on Elden Ring the first week it came up, I got destroyed, ravaged. I started again, this time with a little studying. I found Tyrannicon and it changed my fucking game. I gave uo on the final boss. Rivers of blood Katana was a bad setup for it, I used this setup and Vykes spear no shield. I finallyy won the game today. I gave up on it a few times but Tyrannicon kept me going with the cheese and pimp video hes Elden Lord

For everybody who is struggling in 1.08.1 version of the game with especially Elden Beast, follow this video for every step of the way and you will win in the end. Excellent build! Thanks so much - beat that bastard on 2nd try using this build, died like 40 times following other solutions :) Used in the end Blasphemous Blade for Radagon and Rivers of Blood katana with Haligtree Crest Greatshield for Elden Beast. Truly excellent build guide.

sadly rivers of blood is a useless ordinary weapon now because fromsoft nerfed it to Kingdom come.... God forbid we have a weapon in the game that is really good for bleed... But now it's no better off than any other bleed weapon as a lot of bleed weapon were nerfed as well as the bleed itself...
I also suspect they nerfed the effectiveness of using weapons or buffs that are really effective against bosses types... I was using a fire based nuking build against a scarlet rot type erdtree Avatar, whatever they're called, and it did jack squat... 🙄🤦 Why the fuck would fire being the one thing they're weak to do less than 100 damage with a shit ton of fire based buffs AGAINST A BOSS WEAK TO FIRE...

I am a lost cause. I have everything but that godly Haligtree shield. I am using the Erd Tree Great Shield +10 in it's place. How is that shield at +25? I thought +10 is the highest you can go. I used my last respec so I can use the shield and incantations. I was an Astrologer before but now I guess I'm a warrior. The thing is, now I can't even beat Radagon. He absolutely smokes me. My shield doesn't protect me much and I can no longer summon my +10 Black Knife Tiche, because now I don't have enough magic. I have completed other games in the time I have spent trying to beat Radagon and Elden Beast. I really wanted to finish this game but I don't see how that is possible anymore.
Edit: I was unable to get the job done with this build, however I found another video that provided the build to allow me to finally defeat Radagon and the Elder Beast. I was shocked how easy it was too. Especially after so many hours trying to beat them. Out of respect for Tyrannicon, I won't post that other video here.
Maybe it's because your shield has magic attacks and stuff like that. If your shield is upgraded by smiting stones you can get to +25 if by somber smiting stones it only get to +10
Tip: change to a sorcerer build and kill Radagon with Comet Azur before he can attack you. Then use Black Flame against Elden Beast; with it you can attack from afar.

Beat him today! Strange glitch left me temporarily invincible. Sliced him to pieces with rivers of blood katana. Ragadon was a real bastard with hella cheap shots. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Just wanted to share my guide with you all, i struggled a lot with this boss i found it harder then melenia but the thing you need to do is learn its attacks and when you use minic tear always stay away from the boss and be ready to attack it as soon as minic tear lands it's first hit as this will stop atleast one of his attacks and never roll backwards always stay calm and roll towards his right or left, you need to be very carefull with the rolls no extra roll and for the elden beast just try to keep atleast 10 heath bars when you get to 2nd phase and you are done
I can’t thank you enough with this video! I had the hardest time until I pretty much replicate what you had on. I was very close to giving up since all the cheeses had been buffed. For me, combo of these two was harder than any boss in the game including Malenia. Thanks again!

As a faith build I did't have the strength requirement to use the shield in the video but I used the beast jar shield +24 with sacred affinity and was able to beat the beast first try after watching this video. The talisman also helped a ton

He’s 40 end, 36 str, 27 fth, 60 arc. He didn’t say mind and vigor but u can guess
Guru I found a better shield that you can sub into your build. The Heavy Eclipse Crest Great-Shield comes with 100% physical damage negation, 70% magic(including holy) and then 60% additional reduction in magic for each class(Holy included) right out the box. You won’t be disappointed Guru. It’s in Black Knife Catacombs.
Oh and for weapon use Blasphemous Blade for the auto healing. Rest of your build amazing and with the shield sub I can confirm and even send video if you like. Bodied Elden Beast on Ng7 and took zero damage and never lost any stamina so this ate all attacks as if it was nothing.

Dear Mr. Guru. I'm sorry I doubted you. The first boss was became a hassle. I got frustrated. Kept getting getting 1 shotted by his grab attack. Had to relearn his move set, then it was a breeze. 2nd boss wasn't an issue. I do have 2 suggestions. 1.) Use a your consumables. Holy negotiation, and increased strength will shorten the fight. 2.) Instead of dumping all of your extra points into Arcane, save a few extra for endurance. The Guru gives you a MINIMUM, you still need some stamina to attack.
Never give up boys just spent all night fighting the Elden beast, and now im the Elden Lord

Just as advice: If a reborn should be needed, don't forget to set at least 50 of Endurance to make possible to wear all that recommended equipment, 27 of Faith, 13 of Arcane and 36 of Strength.
FYI - if you don't get the sanctified whetblade before burning the Erdtree, you can't get it at all! idk how much this affects your success though
yep unfortunally this is my case now, do we really need it in order to reach the maximum holy negation?
@@fabiotc I beat the game without it! I would just get as much of this equipment as you can (I also was missing one of the Tears) and respec appropriately. I upgraded the Shield as much as possible, and I used a fully upgraded Blasphemous Blade as my main weapon (since it works with the stats Guru says to prioritize). make sure you use the cheese method for Radagon and using a Mimic Tear really helped on the Beast as well. it did take me a couple tries, just to get Radagon right, but the Blasphemous Blade + the Mimic Tear helped and I beat the game. I was totally hopeless so I promise it can happen for you.
@6.00 you can get a better one if you've already completed haligtree area. It's a bit hard to explain so look up "dragoncrest greatshield talisman"
This was incredible! Face tanking the elden beasts hits made me feel like a bad ass. Getting that hood proved harder than the elden beast! Went with iji's mirrored helm
bloodhound step for the win to get that hood.
I think I'm done trying to beat the elden beast it's impossible time to create a new character go through the game beat Godfrey as the final boss cause this shit is impossible

I wouldn't recommend the Great Hood unless you have really low stamina/equip load. The HP reduction isn't really worth it for ~1% Holy damage negation more than some other helms.
thanks was struggling , I got him down to almost zero on numerous times with my arcane build , but this build made it a lot easier, funnily enough I had all the gear !
Haven't tried it yet. But you seem to have forgotten the 1st half of the fight. Why make a build for the 2nd half the fight only. Is there a way to skip the first half?
If you mean Radagon then his attacks are holy based too so the build works for both.
For the shield head to the haligtree roots grace take the lift. Head out the church and turn right then right again and the required knight will be having a nap against the church wall.
They're not having a nap btw and there's two of them.
I figured I would just wait until level 500 summon mimic and spam rock sling!

Guru, I want to thank you. I used the build apart from the greaves and I did the Radagon cheese with the poison arrows and it got me through first time. Keep up the great guides and cheeses.
I tried this 5X and just kept running after the beast and barely ever seem to get close enough to hit it. It's stupid that I made it this far with a non-magic build and now I have to fumble around with the controller trying spells/incantations whatever that I've never used before. I was getting it down to 10% health with previous builds but can only get it down to 50% with this one.
guys, do any of you know of a good replacement shield for the haligtree crest shield? Ive got the rest of the stuff I just need something in replacement of the shield

I swear to God I had an easier time with Mallenia than I did with Elden Beast. I used probably 8 larval tears over that 2 weeks for different builds.

I hoped this will help, but no, this is a BAD BUILD(!).. i was able to reach the elden beast 10/7 times with my normal bleed build, but with this sheet, you cant reach, you ll die 10/10 at radagon.. with mimic10/tiche10 as well.. on lv170 with +25wep..
I cheesed Radagon using this build - poison arrows.
@BrunoLDK i used the carian retal trick in the end, or try any that hits hard midrange as close rage is harder / lots of walking. (Or try to stuck him between u and mimic) or blasphem blade etc.

However I've FINNALLY A BUILD THAT WORKED!!! (June 2023)
After trying so many different youtube "Cheese" guides, changing my build 10 times, full upgrading normal weps and sombre weps and all of them badly failing, I finally found one that works!!! 🏆🥳
I'm level 215 with stats set to..
• Vigor: 55
• Mind: 40
• Endurance: 50
• Strength: 37
• Dexterity: 82
• Intelligence: 18
• Faith: 38
• Arcane: 17
Attack power on my sword went up over 1,100 once spells below cast.
You could prob drop some faith for Strength, so long as you can cast the spells below.
My build was exactly as follows in order to beat Elden Beast..
Weapons
• Godslayers Greatsword +10
• Dragon Communion Seal +10 (Flame grant me strength, Golden Vow)
Armour
• Okina Mask
• Tree Sentinal Armor, Gauntlets, and Greaves (for high holy negation)
Talismans
• Peardrake Talisman +2 (Swap after mimic call for • Fire Scorpion Charm)
• Shabrini's Woe (Swap after mimic call for • Shard of Alexander)
• Haligdrake Talisman+2
• Dragon rest Greatshield Talisman
Flask Split +11
• Crimson x10
• Cerulean x4
Wonderous flask (saved for Elden beast)
• Flame Shrouding cracked tear
• Opaline Bubbletear
Just before entering the first stage of fight pop the following items/spells..
• Flame grant me strength
• Golden Vow
• Boiled Crab
• Holyproof dried Liver
• Rune Arc (Godrick Great Rune)
Do Mimic straight away and run until your mimic is destracting to the boss. Swap out Shabrini's Woe asap and the Pealdrake tailsman.
You should be able to bash him from behind with Godslayers great sword weapon art from as he'll be agro on your mimic due to Shabrini's Woe. Once dead quickly cast Flame grant me strength and Golden Vow before the cut scene for the Elden Beast battle.
When Elden beast fight starts run straight forward to get behind it and weapon art it as the Elden beast will be attacking mimic.
Every chance you get run to the side away from your mimic and get round behind Elden beast or to the side and weapon art it.
If your help drops below half, heal.
It took me three attempts, compared to about 50 failed attempts across other builds 😫
I know I went through so many guides so I really hope this helps someoneone out there get their platinum 😃

Thank You. I used Blasphemus Blade on Radagon. Changed up this build with Marikas soreseal instead of Old LOrd's. Helmet was Silver Tear. Rebuff your vow/fortification half way through the health bar. Used heavy hits when I got close.
it’s honestly embarrassing that i’m here at 5am to say i can’t believe i came all this way having so much fun on this game more then alot of games i’ve played ina while leveling up new weapons cool shit to fight etc and i was going at a pretty fast pace mind you i get stopped for days and am unable to complete the game because of radagon and the elden beast i have dominated every other boss with cool strats of my own your youtube vids no matter what i do i cannot win it’s so frustrating sorry for the rant this is just ridiculous man….

Finally killed it!!! Ty Guru! I put 70 in Arcane and that did it!
Use comet Azur glitch with physic flask for the first boss. Then equip both the Haligtree Crest Greatshield and Wing of Astel +10 for the elden beast. Its special shreds his health so fast I nearly shit myself the first time I used it on him. My stats were 40 vigor, 20 mind, 20 endurance, 60 strength, 23 dexterity, 62 intelligence, 32 faith, and 10 arcane. Shard of Alexander talisman, pearldrake+2, dragoncrest greatshield talisman, boltdrake +2.
For those who dont want to farm for haligtree crest greatshield, erdtree greatshield is quite a good replacement according to fextralife

Go to Drainage site of grace. Pass time to morning. Exit and run along the roots towards the church. Kill the knight sitting down below the balcony of the church.

Wing of astel level 10. And use all of the items he listed except the shield ( if you can't get it) . Spam the special close range. Let your summon aggro and get behind enemy. Don't be afraid to just stay in the fight close.
I’m on my ng+5 and even with this build I still can’t manage to get it done. He literally won’t let me hit him he just keeps moving around the map. Oh well here I go again.

@@Lady_Vengeance i do respecced for this in exact stats. his gear suggestions are weak vs physicals so u die in a sec on phase1. i have all suggested gear and am able to use.. i had bigger success with my random bleed build but ofc its not enough for phase2..
Had to settle with the erdtree greatshield because the other one you had didnt drop no matter how many times i tried
I have all the right stuff and stats (arc 80), radagon kills me immediately

I finished him today on My NG+3 .. it was the hardest .. so fast and there are soany things happening at the same time on screen .. I used Maliketh blade and incantation to get the job done
That shield is a pain in the ass to get. Really frustrating the time farming and doesnt come up.

This is an awesome build! Worked great! I spammed the beast with “pest threads” incantation, instead of melee and took him down quick.
this build is so perfect for the elden beast, but i can’t get passed radagon using it, radagon is harder than the elden beast with this build to me for some reason
