Common sense should tell you, paying any bill with a gift card is a red flag. I mean, ask yourself, "when was the last time I paid any bill with a gift card?"

This is true. As dumb as it sounds, people actually fall for it. I don't blame people who has been taken advantage of, it's just that there are really bad people out there.
If ever someone calls you claiming that they are from AT&T (direct TV) and discussing you about a promotion lasting for six months and you only have to pay with eBay gift card, please do not pursuit with the discussion. THAT'S A SCAM.
