@jez9999 I absolutely *love* the way that the RUclips displays just *your* comment in the preview, bearing in mind lots of us are here for the full episode due to having seen just the final!! 😂👏👏👏
@@Tubewings I know what he said and my descriptions are correct. It was Shughie Mcfee given as an answer and he was a fictional character played by a Scotsman.
To be fair, that was a sensible suggestion as that was the Irish PM at the time. Plus I'm fairly sure Ian Paisley would have been very upset at being called Irish!
I've wondered with the turkey answers whether the show could have combined the first turkey with food or snacks, since maybe some people surveyed might have said that. I would bring some food to the beach. With the supermarket, maybe some in the survey said meat. Turkey is meat. In the U.S. version, they're often more lenient. Of course, if Steve Harvey asked to name a famous snooker player, U.S. contestants would be thinking "WTF?" Anyway, quite funny.
Rather sad that the production team seem to have not considered that most people have tellies and kettles. On the plus side, at least it wasn't a speedboat.
After he said Disraeli, Max indirectly called Bob an idiot ("I'll tell you what, we get idiots on this programme too.") 😅😅 It was cut from the broadcast but its in the Family Misfortunes special 😅😅
@@TDKiller415 I know. Having said that, I suspect Max could be mean at times. You certainly wouldn't get away with that today, particularly all the references to asylums.

The look on his family’s faces at the end of the final round - proper FFS
Too right, I found that the funniest bit!
The guy obviously slipped the answer ‘Turkey’ to him as they swooped over
"one of the funniest programmes I've ever done"... he says BEFORE the final round 😂

I didn’t realise the ‘Turkey’ man was awful the whole way through
I don't care what anyone says, I liked Max Bygraves on this show.
Idid to vry funny man rip max
Me too. Don't like how people are trying to discredit him.
I personally wasn't a fan of his as such. rather him than Vernon or Gino combined.
Les Dennis the all time great
The hero here (Bob) used to drink in my uncle’s local, and every time he walked in the bar everyone used to make the “ehh-uhh” noise 😆
😂😂😂
I can't imagine how Steve Harvey would have reacted to this.

8:43 for the Famous Irishman question.
First 6 answers given ; Jew, Englishman, Englishman,Animated cat, American, Scotsman.
@@jonsmith20766 He said "Disraeli", as in the 19th Century British Prime Minister. Also, Jimmy McVeigh was English as well.
@@Tubewings I know what he said and my descriptions are correct.

Bob got 6 wrong answers. Disraeli, Des O'Connor, Gerry Fitt, She didn't have the time and of course, the other 2 occasions was Turkey!
Absolute classic episode on Challenge. 😂😂😂😂
23:00 Turkey.
23:06 Uh, turkey.
23:10 Turkey. (Laughing)
18:45 He arranged it at a fish & chips shop, but she wanted turkey 😂
I feel like someone whispered "3... turkey..."" to him and his brain just went "turkey turkey turkey"
Name a Famous Irishman
Garret Fitzgerald (Gets the Ehh-uhh buzz)
Surprised it didn't make the survey, given it was way better than any of the previous 6 answers on that question!
It was a great answer, given that Garret Fitzgerald was the Taoiseach at the time, but sadly didn't make the board.
To be fair, that was a sensible suggestion as that was the Irish PM at the time. Plus I'm fairly sure Ian Paisley would have been very upset at being called Irish!
James Joyce?
Oscar Wilde?
The only prize the Johnsons won was a weekend trip to Stratford upon Avon. Not a trip to Ireland nor Turkey.
The golden years when TV was good, not too much seriousness and people having a laugh and joke

The Turkey Man was so hilarious.

Hadn’t someone said that for the famous Irishman earlier in the show?

22:57 The moment you came here for.
C'mon, this is not a Thanksgiving episode. Congratulations on making the game show blunder 2x

Maybe that's one reason why he didn't last long on the show.
Producers got tired of cutting out all abuse he gave people.
@@matthwe3468 Its not abuse to say an idiot is an idiot 😆
@@TDKiller415 well actually it can be. It is a form of verbal abuse. It depends wither or not you mean it as a joke or not.
