I had a place on Great Barrier Island, NZ for 30 years- off grid too. So lovely to find your channel! My son is 27 now and so thankful for his island upbringing- your children will be too. Great content - I’m not well so I just love watching you all do what I used to 🤗 The joys of nature and good food!

The life you are living is wonderfull, wish we had even more people on earth matching your energy and interest in wildlife. The nature is truly gods work of art! We recently also moved to an island with 2 kids and are hoping to start a new life, God blees!

These first few days of our trip were soooo relaxed... Early to bed, early to rise and just easing in to it all... The next part includes some awesome adventures!!
Thank you so much... The children and Mollie have already put together a pack of supplies, books and puzzles for the school and we sent it down yesterday. But we will put this money towards some more goods we can share with schools nearby. We have a trip over to our closest school planned for this week. Thanks again :)

I know!!! And the GoPro we had was only recording for 9 seconds at a time. Spoiler - no orcas haha but still we really were not able to capture our usual underwater content this trip. The cameras we usually use when on the island are Jase’s parents and they needed them while we were away which is totally fair enough. We want to invest in our own before the year is out maybe… we will see 😊

Are there crocodiles near where you live?
Not usually no.. there are on the mainland islands near rivers etc.. but very rarely out on the barrier reef islands.
