If you want a cheap tablet do a kindle, I had one until I was 12 before getting an iPad. Not anywear near as nice as an iPad but great as a starter for a kid.
i had a kindle when i was younger with a bunch of pokémon emulators on it, ended up glitching beyond help on me but i blame it on the excessive hacking we did to it. i agree it is a super good starter tablet for tweens!
Ironically responding to this on my 7 year old kindlfire HD. I have an ipad 6....but I just put it away for the night, and decided to play with the kindle for a while....It's no ipad, but they are very good for the price!

If you want a cheap tablet do a kindle, I had one until I was 12 before getting an iPad. Not anywear near as nice as an iPad but great as a starter for a kid.

i had a kindle when i was younger with a bunch of pokémon emulators on it, ended up glitching beyond help on me but i blame it on the excessive hacking we did to it. i agree it is a super good starter tablet for tweens!
I agree. The Kindle Fire tablets are pretty good for the price and often on discount on Amazon.
Ironically responding to this on my 7 year old kindlfire HD. I have an ipad 6....but I just put it away for the night, and decided to play with the kindle for a while....It's no ipad, but they are very good for the price!
