Amazing car, saw one yesterday. They looks amazing. Probably This and the i30n is the best car in existence. I have owned golf r focus st and nothing made me feel like The i30n and the i20n. These cars are like mental hospital patient insane good, but in a good way. No disrespect to mental health. Just had to compare it to being insane as they really are in a good way. I drove a i30n and after I got back in my golf r feeling disappointed 😂😂 the dullness was apparent. Yes the golf r is very quick but I have learned that this is totally irrelevant. Since I got my golf gti mk8 which slower than the golf r it makes the golf r seems dull. The gti is so much better than my 7.5. But Hyundai is still king. But for petrol purposes I had to go with gti but believe me I want the Hyundai so badly. One day maybe grrhrhh
I just did a res/2nd cat delete on my I20N today and it was the best $420 I spent. The pops I get at 4-5k rpm are just insane. This is how the car should’ve come from factory. I’d say it’s about as loud as the stock i30N & i30 sedan N
Hey there, I’m just curious.. so since you’ve had the valve opened 100% and I realised in N mode it pops a lot more, why is this? Is there still some restriction when you put it in Eco/Normal?
Hey man, nice looking and sounding car! Was wondering if you had any footage of the sound inside the car? Like pov style drive? Probably a weird question but im curious to how it sounds in the cabin.
Not to sound my age but I'm sick of how loud my car is... the i20 n is on my short list of next car but I'd probably keep the exhaust stock and open the flap once a month for some sound. Be more keen on an intake sound and tune on that N mode.

Eco and normal mode is actually louder than sports and N apart from the pops and bangs. There’s is a definite exhaust note in the cabin on the highway. I do around 500kms a week on the highway driving to work. If it annoys you just put the exhaust valve fuse back in

Does the I20N have a cat and a GPF or is it a two in one ? I heard removing cats will throw an engine code normally.. especially if there's a sensor behind the GPF.. ? I want to get this done but Hyundai will knock back your warranty if you mess with anything before the cat.

Thank you 🙏 and yes I have deleted the resonator and gpf/cat and put a straight pipe in this section. I have also removed the 10amp fuse which controls the valve so it stays open all the time
@@gabox01 why in 2022 do people still think mods 100 percent void warranty.. if you are wondering why I'm saying this I had to have engine replaced and I had literally changed everything in the car . They didn't give no fucks and replaced the motor and gave me rental..

I'm sorry but I really dont think this sound fits the cars personality. Its a hot hatch, not a clapped out BMW. The indigestion sound takes it from fun performance to chavy
I personally think you couldn’t be more wrong.. the whole Hyundai N range is based around racing and rally. The aural noise of turbo whistle, raspy exhaust note combined with extreme pops and bangs is everything Hyundai has become. I’ve just enhanced what already exists without being restricted to manufacturing and environmental restraints.
@@dannywhite132 lol 😂 it already makes those sounds, I’ve just made it louder by removing restrictions that “engineers” must implement to pass epa laws… Sounds like it’s all a bit too much for you maybe something like a Honda city might be better suited to your needs

Any half decent shop will be able to cut some pipe and weld some flanges on

It’s a straight second cat and res delete. Most mechanics can do this easily for about $200
You need ECU remap for doing that?

Zero issues, the only hardware performance part is Downpipe and racechip. But who doesn’t love noise

Mmm almost the same does a reasonable job in quiet mode.. in saying that I literally have only had the valve closed on the first day I bought it lol

There’s 2 cats/gpf one on the dump pipe with sensors and one that has no sensor plus a resonator
