Fun project, Denise. Glad you had the perfect flat screwdriver and pliers for those staples! Will be checking in on Saturday.. stay cool and healthy, you two.
I have a lot of old used canvases, you could sand them down, prep with gesso but leave some of the old paint in the background, do your process Can’t wait to see the projects you have for your Canvas cloth It would make a excellent journal cover
Thank you so much Denise, I’ve watched this back to front. I really really love ❤️ that canvas, and I really really enjoyed watching you create it. I really really love ❤️ all the colours and vibrancy of it too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Hi Denise! Please make sure all staples are properly thrown away, you definitely don't want you family or pets stepping on one. You could turn it into a silk screen for gelatin silk screen prints.
@@DeniseLush Biggest paper making tip I can give you, tear off all cut edges and use them in journals or something else, they take much longer to turn into soft pulp. Lesser tips. The pulp can be pieces as large as you want, some people want it watery, others want it almost like a paper mache, something in between, or a combination of sizes. It is YOUR paper to make how YOU want it, follow your heart, not instructions! Add in can be fun, a good way to make them stick is to add a single layer of tissue paper over the damp paper and additives then press in place carefully to seal everything in place. Not a paper making tip, tip.😁 You don't need homemade paper for previous tip, the tissue can be used over a damp piece of paper. Use it to hold added: Strings, feather fluff, small flower petals, tea leaves, fine grass, small seeds, etc in place, then after drying apply some clear gel medium or if planning on using it for texture, gesso.
@@cherylalikhani5957 Thanks for all the tips. I don't know if I will ever actually get around to making it though. lol But I know who to turn to if I do!
@@DeniseLush that is why I offered the bottom "not a paper making tip". I did forget a fun tip though. You can smash damp, not sopping wet pulp into cookie tins and silicone molds to make shapes. Later pierce them with a hole for a ribbon, spritz with fragrance and hang from hangers inside clothing, stuff into drawers, hang from car's rear view mirror, etc. Sprinkle with desired seeds and plant a garden or "bomb" an empty patch of freeway/highway by dropping it out a window (don't worry, they are biodegradable).
Nice. I think I'd just use a canvas board instead of taking the framed canvas apart. Just a thought. You can get really inexpensive packs at Michaels in the Kids art section.
I absolutely LOVE her designs but I absolutely can not make it through her videos bc she talks sooooooooooo slowly & soooooooooo softly that it legit makes me very tired. Ive tried watching w/o sound but then i get easily distracted then lose interest. If she just played music then used letters on the screen like many others do, id watch every single video she makes & that she’s featured in…
Numbers, letters paynes grey just make everything work, cannot wait to see where this goes, thank you for sharing Denise

Impatiently awaiting part two…
Just a few days!!! 😄
Love this, Denise! Stencil and mini combo is genius!
Thanks. Glad you like it!
Would a 8x10 gel press be able to do cool prints onto a canvas
Denise, where did get the two stencils you used for the canvas layout?! I love it.
Number Scramble and Love Sonnet, both by the Crafters Workshop.
@@DeniseLush Thanks ever so much you always have the best taste in stamps and stencils. I really do love talent and videos.
@@sherleneholloway1627 awww thanks so much. I appreciate that.

oh! I always wanted to try making paper!

You'll see why I wanted loose canvas in part 2.
Why are you removing canvas? I wanted to see it work as a canvas?
