Ben probably won't read this but I would like to thank him anyway. When I first started watching the show I think i was 11 years old. (I started watching around 2013, I'm sixteen now). English is not my native language so at the time I didn"t understand much. However I truly think that watching TBHS every friday has helped my english evolve. I remember always looking out to friday, not only because of the weekend, but also because of TBHS. Ben thank you! Thanks to your show I got into electronics, I bought a soldering station and some velleman kits and started poking around. I even got into 3d printing thanks to TBHS. You have made my life a little better, and you have taught me many things when it comes to electronics. I understand and respect your decision, sometimes change is needed for a human to thrive, however I am still sad to say this is the end of an era. Of course the show stays, and I would also like to thank the whole cast for making the show professional. Especially Alyson in the beginning (I was happy to see her appearance in the PieFace sketch aswell), and Felix later on. Words can't describe the respect I have for you guys. So ben (or anyone of the cast), If you ever feel sad about leaving the show, don't worry. You have already left behind a legacy. And I am truly thankfull of every minute of TBHS content I watched. I am certain that I will still hear about Ben and a new adventure he has taken on. Many, Many thanks for making youtube a better place. Sorry for this long incoherant rant. Kind regards, Vincent
Fancy Teeth The end of one era and the beginning of a new. Ben blazed a trail, and I'm honored to pick up the torch for him--he just left some awfully big shoes to fill!
Great build. Amazing 8 years. We're going to miss you Ben! No one will ever be able to replace you. Thanks for all the fun. Best of luck to you in the future!
You've had a good run and sparked interest for stuff like this in so many people you have done a successful Job the future of regrettable acting and such is upon us goodbye
Ben Heck has inspired me to learn about electronics. 8 years later and I've got a well-paying job in the field. Thank you Ben for all you've done for us these past years. May your new chapter in life be filled with adventure and excitement!
I remember watching you every day at lunch. I have watched you for over 7 years a looked forward to every video. You sparked my love for small electronics. I can thank you enough for the joy you have brought me with you videos as well as the path you have led me down with technology. I will forever miss your calm and funny personality. Thanks for all the videos over the years. I’ll miss you 😢😭
I've been watching these videos for YEARS and it just kills me that there won't be any more... The Ben Heck Show inspired me to follow my dreams of working with electronics and I am now in college for computer engineering. Thank you Ben. Truly, thank you.
If I limit myself to 1 minute of this a year, I can have brand new Ben Heck content for the next 36 years! Aaaaanndddddd it's gone. Thanks for the awesomeness Ben!
Was a great last episode to end the era of TBHS. To the whole cast: Thanks for all of the memories and everything you taught us. Thanks for all of the amazing hacks, inspired designs, and the thing I will miss most of all: the regrettable acting! Thanks for slugging through each week to provide us with entertainment. Good-bye ...
Thanks Ben, for may years of innovative projects engineering and more! Not to mention the regrettable acting! Through your channel i found my love for electronics, today (after 8 years of watching your videos) i have an entire room in my house dedicated to making things, you truly inspired me to build and learn. I'm really gonna miss you!
Wow I honestly didn't think it would hurt this bad it's almost like losing a best friend this is the end of an era with been gone don't know who's going to fill those shoes don't know what words to explain how incredible you and your whole team is and the countless times of inspiration or we're surprisingly one small segment of one of your builds helped me with a completely different build I was doing love to hear that you're writing and Hope we can still see you vlog the interesting things you do in your life thanks again!!!
Boy oh boy... no more Hot Pocket Controller, no more Pinballs, no more portables of Machines we almost forgot... no more Rewiring, no more jokes I usually don’t get, no more famous acting... that all makes me sad. Thanks to ALL of you for the show, the education and the fun you brought us. I am from Germany and my English improved so much watching this channel in the past years and so did my interest in electronics and making. I sadly neither have time or skill enough to create things on my own, but you awakened a part of my heart and my brain that I never knew I had. Thanks and have a good one!!!
Ben, commiting 8 years to this channel is an impressive project in its self. You have taught us a lot and we are all thankful. I hope nothing but awesomeness in your next chapter. So long TBHS it was an awesome ride on the circuit train.
Thanks for the entertainment for the past 8 years Ben! I've watched nearly all the episodes but I think this is my first comment on one. Good luck in your future endeavours.
This came out really nicely. The aesthetic of the portable kind of reminds me of the old Game Boy. Ben, Alyson, Felix, you guys will be greatly missed. Thank you so much for all the cool projects and all the memories.
If you reading this Ben i just want to say thanks for the great knowledge and fun that you bring to us over 8 years. I learn mcu's and 3d designs thanks to you. So long my friend, take care of yourself. I'll stick around for what you do next.

Wow! I'm really gonna miss the Ben heck show. Thank you Ben Heck for all the knowledge you have shared, and growing such a awesome community for all us nerds.
Bye Ben 😭😭😭. Thanks for all the projects and best wishes to the future. I'll miss this show for sure. From before RUclips and beyond, it was a fun ride Mr. Heckendorn!
Hey Ben, I was hooked on your projects, portables, hacks and everything since I discovered you old website years ago. The idea of making handhelds out of (at least my favourite, the 800XL was my first computer ever) game consoles was incredibly awesome to me and I followed your path to youtube and watched every episode ever since. You made a lot of cool inventions and designs and explained things in such detail to make it understandable - I think that's why so many people will miss you and the "things" you created. I hope you'll be happy in whatever future project you'll be working on and stay creative. I hope that electronics bug bite does not lose its effect ;) Good bye - you will be missed.
Dear Ben, let me express please a personal appreciative word of much thanks to you and the team along with the many other expressions from people everywhere here drawn to your unique and very special contribution in this sector of electronics. The expression 'to keep lightning in a bottle' is reminiscent of what this show has with you in these recordings. I am really saddened by the conclusion of this but grateful for what has been made and hope your talent is rewarded well in the new chapters of your life course whatever that may be- Warm greetings from the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula, South Africa!
Ben, I just want to say THANK YOU. You started my interest in electronics and now i am studying electrical engineering. I know life has to go on but damn i am sad. I really wish you the best! Thank you!
I think the pie face ending said it best "its been one HECK of a ride" . good luck with what ever your future holds Ben. Thanks for allowing us to learn from you and thanks for inspiring me to buld more and buy less.
Ben, can't tell you how much I'm gonna miss you man. Your videos got me into electronics as a hobby and brought me a ton of enjoyment over the years. Ben, your videos sparked my interest in tinkering and building electronic projects. Thanks for all your hard work! Good luck with everything that the future will hold for you. Thanks for bringing back Allison for the last episode, you've come full circle! Cheers!

Great final video had me in tears at the end... Thanks Ben and team for all the great content over the years ... Will miss seeing you guys ever week ... Good luck in your next endeavours
Great video. I cut my teeth on a trusty old Atari 800 I bought on layaway when I was 15 at the local K-Mart. I think it was like $127. The 1050 disk drive that I had to get later was like $180. Had a TI 99/4A for about a year before that and out grew it quickly. Seeing these old 8-bit videos brings back so many memories. Went on to an Atari ST....STacy....TT/030... Then on to countless PCs that I now use for work. Can't remember 1/5th of the PCs, but will ALWAYS remember my Ataris. Computers were more personal back then. Now, they are like a hammer or screwdriver to me.
Hey Ben, the 800xl was my first computer as a kid, really cool to see it back to life as this slick portable. I wish Atari had sold these in the 80's! Thanks for doing the show.
Loved it when you full on mind melded with the chips to see it the were semiconducting. Thank you and your team for all the great content you have shared with us. Wish you all good luck in the future.

The guys at element14 was kind enough to send me one last year. :-) Goodluck Ben with your future endeavors. Like you say it's been one heck of a ride.
