- Hey! I finished the Kapi week in my mod Arcade Showdown for Friday Night Funkin'. This video goes over it all n stuff and yea it's cool. I didn't get to show the game over screen (cause I'm just that good) but it's also another nice thing I added.

This is probably one of the best mods I’ve ever seen, it mixes the mad phases and the friendly matches mods. It makes them really look like old friends.

Lemme tell you, I adore that Kapi uses a DDR machine to battle BF. Not only nice characterization of Kapi being really good at arcade games, but he also happens to have really satisfying gameplay animations to watch.

I love the visual detail that Kapi is hitting arrows relative to HIM on DDR. When he hits the up arrow for example, he’s leaning right from our perspective. But on his dance pad, that’s the up arrow.

Can we just talk about not just the songs but the background too? All of the games in the arcade look very nice and planned out! The pinball machine is based off of "Mr. Dearest" too. Let's not forget the head of PapperKitty on the wall, and the color changing string lights. Everything is this mod is flawless, even the songs! I really hope you keep working and make more amazing mods for your fans to enjoy.

The thing that broke me is learning Kapi is actually a cat, omg.
In any case, so much new stuffs and improvements! The background characters, the changing dialogue cutscenes, adding hold notes and like even more animation frames for Kapi, that mid-fight meow.
I do hope all three of them had fun in the end, despite Kapi failing to impress GF (maybe entertain her, but certainly not impress). I mean, even BF requested for a last song, and the large crowd at the end means it's quite the show!

10:37, I like the detail of Pump's eyes being blue, since in the original series, whenever Pump was near paranormal activity, his eyes turned blue, since GF is a demon, it makes sense that Pump's eyes would turn blue
Fun fact: The entire Vs. Kapi mod uses only one hold note on Kapi’s side, you can find it the the song called “Nyaw.”
Probably because Kapi can’t exactly hold notes effectively on a Dance Dance Revolution dance pad.

God this Mod is easily the best one. Such a nice Art Style and incredible music, plus Kapi and BF going Meow in the last song is so cute, incredible work man
so I found 3 easter eggs in the kapi mod:
1- being the tiny theme from bad piggies 1:23-1:25 (or 1:34-1:36)
2- being the amogus emergency button sound 3:38
3-being the sound effect when you get in a FIGHT in deltarune 7:33
4-skid and pump at the background.

@@flapjack0925 Less of a standard, more of people trying to prove to the haters of FNF that it’s a real rhythm game. That, and it’s just how the skill curve of the game goes. People get better, things get harder. Same with Geometry Dash, and how the online levels keep getting harder
Paperkitty, this single mod is what caused my longest lasting hyperfixation yet. When someone mentioned their love for games that use Presto Agitando (Moonlight Sonata 3mv,) they mentioned Pesto Anchovi from pizza tower, which I liked and listen to. Then, when pizza tower came out, I didn’t even know, I barely remembered it, but then I saw a meme of it and remembered it and decided to check it out. That was February of last year. As of April 2024, it has been dethroned after 14 grueling months by Splatoon. Thank you. (Also apparently you made some songs for sugary spire, and you added the woag sound into hairball, and also added Snick (Its him) in the bg of Nyaw. Finally a mod that can make me fall in love with. Kapi's design is so cool, and how the mod makes him already know BF is sweet.
The mod isn't stupidly hard just because it must be hard. Fitting with the theme, it's very "DDR like", instead of obnoxious speed + rain of arrows.
And behold, someone that didn't transform or want to threatens BF's life! It's just intense competition at best~

I love the classical undertones, it reminds me so much of the quirky songs you find in DDR. I can definitely see some homage of Beethoven’s work be reminisce of Speed Over Beethoven.
Y'know, that arcade game Kapi is playing on gave me flashbacks to when I was playing Dance Dance for the first time some years back.
I was real bad at it, but I didn’t care.
I saw a lot of fun facts about Kapi on the Funkipedia Mods Wiki and was able to make a nice Backstory for Him. When Kapi was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome as a Kitten(A Twitter Post Says that He Has This), his family learned that playing rhythm games make it easier to Control it. So they Gave him a Rhythm Gaming Handheld to play when It felt like it was going to happen. However this also caused him to be a huge target of Bullying. In High School, Kapi's Older Sister told him to avoid eye contact to keep the bullying to a minimum, but then he met Boyfriend who then Protected him from one of those Bullies. Ever Since then Boyfriend was the 1st and Best Friend he ever made. (The Same Twitter Post says that Kapi and The Boyfriend are Friends from High School.)
