    great video nice and straight forward however i have a few questions tho if you would answer,
    how did you fund it - bank loan, parents paid or did you manage to obtain a scholarship if so, is there any requirements/tips to get one.
    do you need to go to university to become a pilot or do you just go straight into atpl's, etc.
    thank you!!

    What a nice Video. Im also dreaming of becoming a Pilot and I have just completed my Abitur (A-Levels). I have absolutely no Idea where to start though. I don't know how I can finance and where even to begin. Do you have any tips?

      I would recommend finding an airline that provides training first and also find some flights schools in your country and apply to all of them. I am in the UK so I am hoping to get into L3 ryanair futur flying programm or ACS

      Gude, kommt auch drauf an, wo du fliegen willst. BA und Aer Lingus machen full funding bei LH und co. musst du es selber finanzieren bzw. mit Anbietern. In Deutschland sind die größten Flugschulen die TFC und die EFA. Wenn du zur LHG oder zur Condor magst, dann brauchst du glaube ich den DLR Test. Gibt aber auch viele andere Möglichkeiten ins Cockpit zu kommen. USA sind da ganz interessant oder auch die BW (die Finanzieren auch alles. Verpflichtungszeit sind aller dings 13 Jahre). Glückwunsch zum Abi, hab noch ein halbes Jahr, dann bin ich auch durch. Danach geht es hoffentlich zur EFA. Viel Glück bei allem 🙌

    • @kuhqu
      @kuhqu 4 месяца назад

      Since you are from Germany I assume (abitur) EFA is currently your best shot, take the DLR exam, study like a madman for that, if you get that, take the assessment with EFA and if that goes bad, you can still apply to private schools with your DLR certificate

      @@kuhqu Thank you so much. Do you have any advice on how to finance it?

    • @kuhqu
      @kuhqu 4 месяца назад

      @firecreeper21 with the EFA you can apply for brain capital, but you need 30k upfront to finance it. Then there is Albatros, but that's just a credit finance option with e.g. parents as debitors. The more you have upfront, the easier. Also you could work and study at a university at the beginning, and when you have a financial base, start your training

    Anyone who wants to be a pilot here, remember that L3 is a known rip-off school. Their prices are obscene and their business practices are predatory, just because you get quoted silly money or mistreated at L3 DOESN’T mean you shouldn’t learn to fly. Please, PLEASE, do your research, integrate into the aviation community, learn to fly at a modular school with instructors that care about keeping you safe and making you a good pilot. Do your hour building properly, not just in the same plane circling the same airport until you hit that magic number. You can do it, don’t let integrated schools have your money and trick you.
