    I met Nik at the Dinnie stones. Great guy and a pleasure to talk to. The one thing I'd like to point out is, on that tv show he may well of been the smallest guy but hes a huge dude. Wide AF but almost normal compared to Brain etc

    Recovering from a reattach now, 6 months is spot on when it's presumed I'll be back to full strength training but have a nationals spot 2 months after.

    When are you going to start reviewing more Vulcan equipment? They have a selectorized weight stack for their power racks like the rep ares but almost no videos or reviews on the product.

    I love how the consequences of dropping 425 pounds onto his chest doesn't even get brought up (beyond the possibility of internal bleeding) like it's just a thing that happened. I understand the cancer part of the story takes priority but I find it very funny regardless. The "normalization of the crazy" will always be interesting to me because of how lifting for 13 years (last 4-5 being more serious, more planned) has normalized aspects of it that don't jibe with societal messaging. Great pod, guys.

    Cant stress enough.
    D3, magnesium, k2 from free range beef organs. B complex , zink. C, calcium
    These are the bedrock of every foundation for every athlete.
    So so so important. More than any macros.

    PED question…. When I inject testosterone in my quad I get a lump under my leg. Any suggestions on where to inject so this doesn’t happen?

      Dont inject in your quad. Do only glutes and Shoulders

    train at home only have free weights, but I know machine training can be just as effective

    If people just eat like a lightweight athlete do some cardio and train like a strongman they'd function like they want and look like a bodybuilder but actually be useful

      bodybuilding to look pretty
      strongman to lift awkward loads and carry it
      conditioning to have more endurance

      Every lift, no matter how simple, has an aspect of skill. Being functional for what? It's an easy answer for competitive athletes; they train to be stronger/better at their sport. For the average person, even a, (supposedly non-functional), dedicated progressive bodybuilding-style routine, after a year, will have made them strong enough to engage in any typical activity w/strength to spare.

      Tell me you live at home with your parents without telling me you live at home with your parents. Everybody has bills to pay, including your parents, so yes since these podcasts are free, they still need to pay the electric bill, they need to pay Andrew for his labor, don't forget about property taxes, potential rent, etc. Grow tf up 🤦
