another five mods today, a very nice showcase Icarus 5/10 I want to like this mod a lot, I really do. But I just hate the way the elytra works currently in the game, and this mod only worsens the problem of horses, boats, and minecarts all becoming obsolete in the endgame. Elytra are for gliding, not flying. I’m going to give it a 5/10 because of the insane work put into the models though. Please install aileron. Mob catalog 5/10 This mod is cool, it reminds me a lot of friends and foes. In fact it seems like worse friends and foes, with two bloat mobs. Just use friends and foes. Magia’s Steel Equipment 2/10 Oh god where do I begin. This mod looks gross, functions badly, and is literally beaten out by a vanilla mechanic. First off, the textures on this mod are having a gigantic identity crisis, trying to be a barebones medieval knight? Didn’t they only have iron in medieval times?? It’s a strange choice, same with the choice to just work as iron but better, but harder to get. I wish there was a blue gemstone that did the same thing in game but for a much lower cost! Or a certain black material meant to be an upgrade to that! Hmmmm! There’s zero reason to install this mod, just don’t even. Spawn 6/10 This is a neat little mod. All the creatures (except for the snail) look very minecraft friendly, and act similar to base game mobs. Bees are ants, and any fish is tuna. The only reason it’s a 6 is because of the snail, that snail is thing most awful looking thing ever put into minecraft, and even if you look past that, its features are just stolen from autumnity. Mod devs should learn how to make their own ideas. Battle Towers 5/10 These towers have aged, and this recreation makes them piss easy. There are no more holes for move to fall through, and the boss is super cheesable. Just install the battle towers from dungeons plus.
