another five mods today, a very nice showcase Icarus 5/10 I want to like this mod a lot, I really do. But I just hate the way the elytra works currently in the game, and this mod only worsens the problem of horses, boats, and minecarts all becoming obsolete in the endgame. Elytra are for gliding, not flying. I’m going to give it a 5/10 because of the insane work put into the models though. Please install aileron. Mob catalog 5/10 This mod is cool, it reminds me a lot of friends and foes. In fact it seems like worse friends and foes, with two bloat mobs. Just use friends and foes. Magia’s Steel Equipment 2/10 Oh god where do I begin. This mod looks gross, functions badly, and is literally beaten out by a vanilla mechanic. First off, the textures on this mod are having a gigantic identity crisis, trying to be a barebones medieval knight? Didn’t they only have iron in medieval times?? It’s a strange choice, same with the choice to just work as iron but better, but harder to get. I wish there was a blue gemstone that did the same thing in game but for a much lower cost! Or a certain black material meant to be an upgrade to that! Hmmmm! There’s zero reason to install this mod, just don’t even. Spawn 6/10 This is a neat little mod. All the creatures (except for the snail) look very minecraft friendly, and act similar to base game mobs. Bees are ants, and any fish is tuna. The only reason it’s a 6 is because of the snail, that snail is thing most awful looking thing ever put into minecraft, and even if you look past that, its features are just stolen from autumnity. Mod devs should learn how to make their own ideas. Battle Towers 5/10 These towers have aged, and this recreation makes them piss easy. There are no more holes for move to fall through, and the boss is super cheesable. Just install the battle towers from dungeons plus.

another day another mod showcase LET'S DO: Beachparty 4/10 The let's do mods are an odd case especially for me. I love all the ideas and motives behind their mods, but you will always be able to find better alternatives. For this mod specifically, it feels like you could just install Ecologics, Twigs, and Neapolitan and get the exact same experience. As i said before, nice features, good motive, but the execution is questionable. Feels like it should be back on 1.12.2 really. Species 9/10 oh my GOD I love this mod!!! Ninni (mod dev) did such a good job on implementing creatures that fit the tone of minecraft while making them unique from other mods such as alex's mobs. My personal favorite is the Birt, It's such a cute little guy and I adore him he needs to be protected. One thing of note is that the deepfish don't only spawn in oceans, they do spawn deep in caves, hence the name, deepfish! The only reason this is a 9/10 is because I have experienced instability with the mod before. I'm excited for the next update though! Items Displayed 6/10 Not too much to say about this mod, but it is super charming. I don't like the item limitations, and the way some items look, but in the end it won't affect gameplay too much unlike the mod I'm comparing it to, placeables. Overall, I think placeables is better just because of the better models in that mod combined with the fact display stands are NOT needed to show off any item, but placeables can be a bit intrusive when trying to do anything involving a shift click, so it's really just your choice. Uglysheep 1,172.6/10 I... am STEVE! Blaster movement 6/10 It's very fun don't get me wrong, but I feel like this is not only way too expensive considering the fact you will have an elytra at that point, but also the fact that it needs to be reloaded while being very slow is not good at all. If this mod was tweaked to have unlimited ammo and the speed on it was boosted, I would really prefer this to the vanilla elytra in terms of balance. Fly high Rick May. Take's Armory 4/10 Very very good ideas for weapons, but terrible execution. I got excited when I saw only 5 weapons, but in reality, this mod adds 2, maybe 3 weapons with different skins. If the mod dev added some small effects to all the weapons and gave the spear a range buff, this would be the best weapon mod out there, at least for vanilla plus players.

Neonlight:6/10 i dont see anything special with those. Luminous:Monsters:8/10 i like mods that add mob variants,but Special Mobs are just much better. Corail Woodcutter:8/10 a good vanilla+ mod. However,textures are not really vanilla+,but i still like it. JEG:10/10 cool guns. Enlightened:10/10 a lot of new content. End. Cool textures.

Please keep in mind that the developers are working hard to update it, not all the textures and mechanics are final and were lucky that the mod is even being updated as the old creator of the mod went mad.

since someone else did it i’m going to rate these mods based purely off my own opinion Common Weapons - 6/10 the weapons themselves don’t fit into vanilla well, and as stated in the video there are no crafting recipes, but the weapons have amazing animations clearly inspired from epic fight, and I have a massive appreciation for the concept of a fist weapon, so this mod is one I would play with once or twice for testing things but not much else Little Tractor - 5/10 the tractor is DEFINITELY not something i’d use in a modpack unless it’s in a modern (not futuristic) themed pack. I appreciate the animations and the functionality of it a lot but I can’t help and think of astikorcarts when using it NeonLight - 8/10 what’s not to love about these? they’re perfect little end rod shaped lights that don’t produce too much light, perfect for decorating darker rooms or making accent lighting. I wish the lights did curve like rails do but maybe that just wasn’t shown here. I like this mod a lot LUMINOUS: Monsters - 9/10 i’ve played with this mod’s sister mod, LUMINOUS, a lot. these mobs are well designed, fit mojang’s scope, and feel fair to go up against. one thing I wish they had was more compatibility with mods like majrusz difficulty and fresh animations. Corail Woodcutter - 3/10 I really really do not like this mod. there are other mods like woodworks and sawmill that do what this mod does, but way better, and it has blocks that actually fit in the vanilla game instead of voxels just being thrown together like most corail mods are. no thank you. Just Enough Guns - 7/10 I do not play with gun mods in my packs unless i’m doing some sort of sit and survive, or a dweller modpack. the thing I LOVE about this mod compared to TACz (my favorite gun mod) is the fact the weapons here are obtained in such a vanilla friendly way, and even incorporate minecraft blocks into their designs instead of just bringing a real life gun into the game. the guns are not vanilla FRIENDLY but if you want a true vanilla friendly gun mod, you’d have muskets at best. Enlightend - 8/10 I somehow have never seen this mod before, and it blew me away when I saw it in this showcase. i’ve yet to play it but it seems like a vanilla friendly content expansion mod that’s not trying to go beyond its scope. my main gripe with the mod are the leviathan health as you’re probably going to see them for the first time without netherite armor. if this as done as well as I think it is, this mod could rival endergetic expansion and even surpass it!
