What happened to this channel... Bad aftertaste from Grace's leave?
Like many people who lived during Nixon's reign, I have read many transcripts of Nixon's recorded conversations, and I've listened to many of the conversations that are available online. But none of the recordings, and certainly none of the transcripts, are able to make these conversations come alive the way this series does. Harry Shearer and company have done the world a great service. The verisimilitude of these scenes is breathtaking! Like other commenters, I have to say that Harry Shearer is always fun to watch or hear. I'd love to see additional episodes of Nixon's The One.
I enjoy everything Harry Shearer does. He's a brilliant writer and comedian always working for the right causes. I don't understand why he's not more widely appreciated. Perhaps he's too smart for most people.

Well, it's still new, so who knows; it might get more views later. Besides, "Nixon's the One" probably got the vast majority of its profits back when it aired on TV, so it's not like the makers are getting cheated...
