I remember him saying before you started this that he was worried about getting hurt and you said no worries you were going to look out for him. 🥺 Older bodies aren’t as resilient , tissues thin, ligaments lose their elasticity, muscles thin too, and bones break easier. I hope he isn’t in too much pain getting home and heals well.

I'm so impressed by your parents... kudos to them for taking on new challenges! I'm about their age and have been skiing since I was in high school... still just good enough to enjoy the views, and that's good enough for me. :-) I broke my shoulder (scapula) this autumn, but happily it healed quickly and I was back on skis by Christmas. I hope your Dad heals quickly and that both your parents are back on the snow soon! Cheers!

I hope your father heals from his accident. Anytime I hear someone injured their shoulder I’m all ears.
Last February I had a freak accident at home where I tripped and fell breaking the humeral head of my shoulder. Most painful experience ever. I had no clue what happened. The pain was excruciating. I lay writhing on the floor, by myself. I managed to drive myself to the hospital instead of calling the ambulance. I honked my horn like crazy once I got there to have someone help me out. Cop came. He could have cared less. Two surgeries later, the first one unsuccessful, I had to have reverse shoulder replacement. I’ve been in physical therapy since. My arm no longer functions like it once did. Just yesterday I had my usual follow up check up with my surgeon and he informed me just one more visit and we are done. I am on my own. I cannot begin to tell you how I feel. I am guessing I’m about the same age as your dad. Watch where you walk at night. Turn on the lights.

@FunForLouis vlogs are just brilliant and real. I wish your dad all the best. I feel his pain. I was recently off work myself for 12 weeks with an arm and shoulder injury.
I’m that time I was pretty much house bound and after just getting into vlogging I decided to pretty much go right back to your first few vlogs and follow your journey. I think I watched back to back vlogs of yours for like 12 shifts each day.
I feel inspired because I thought it was just a teenagers thing but being a few years older than you I felt it’s never too late to start something new and love travelling and meeting people so why not document it in videos.
My channel is very new but I’m learning the craft and self teaching to get better at it.
Thanks Louis for giving me a brand new hobby and interest and hopefully one day it can become something more than that for me.

Oh my your poor Dad such a shame that should happen, I do hope he recovers well although it can take time.. I'm suffering with on going tendinitis, which is partly due to bone degeneration in my shoulder & boy it can be so painful, I can only imagine how his must feel.. I know you are in LA but please keep us posted on his recovery when you can. x
