I don't think Thor went to Valhalla, since he put his weapon down, thus he didn't die in combat. So yeah, there's a chance he went to Helheim. Modi also kinda sorta let his death happen, so he isn't there either. But interestingly enough, there's a big chance that Magni DID go to Valhalla, since he died during combat to Kratos. And I'm not entirely sure, but there could be a chance that Baldur also went to Valhalla, although I'm not entirely sure, since he didn't just let his death happen, didn't lay his arms down, yet technically he didn't die DURING combat, but at the same time Kratos snatched him from behind when Baldur was unaware, then killed him due to Baldur not being able to break free. Therefore it's a tricky situation.
Kratos is too strong for EVERYONE. He is literally the personification of strength my dude, he overpowered Magni who is said to be stronger than Thor himself and he made Hercules look WEAK. Kratos is a literal tank. Not to mention he fought against a TITAN who tried to crush him with his hands and eat him and he came out on top easily.
Kratos also stopped Mjolnir mid-flight (which nobody would normally be able to do unless they could control the hammer) and threw the hammer using the Blades of Chaos. That takes strength, being able to move the hammer with any object... He also flipped an entire temple on itself by simply deadlifting it. Nobody is stronger than Kratos. Maybe Hachiman or something but Kratos would still find a way to kill him using his battle intelligence.

It makes sense since their society is all about fighting and strength they don’t need their gods to give them more strength but they do want them to help guide them and focus their fury. Him fighting Kratos is understanding him, and knowing that combat helps free the mind. Besides, every fight ends with Tyr blocking a punch from Kratos easily, therefore we can kinda assume that Tyr is extremely powerful, and therefore not worried. But also, both men are Gods of War; combat comes naturally to them. Tyr keeps talking about calmness and mastering yourself. This is reflected in his demeanor while fighting. He isn't phoning it in, he's enjoying it, and is trying to teach Kratos the same; to find stilness in combat.
