I have to say I enjoy all members of Peak Design who have made such videos, I think all of them have something special and they’re great to watch, thank you so much all of you
One of my favorite parts about PD bags is that they hold their shape. I'm so sick of buying expensive bags only for them get all sloppy in 6 months. I also love how these bags work for most people. I've spent hours and hours looking at bags trying to find the perfect fits and PD seems to have like 90% of what I'm looking for in a bag. THANK YOU PD for creating such great looking and functional bags! :D
I'm trying to find a backpack built like a pelican case for mountain biking vlog and cine to ride and not worry about crushing my gear after a fall. I do have the sling version and its stiff and rugged and I might just get the backpack or do something crafty with a pelican case lol
I have never watched any product presentation so energetic and so well presented. Who has ever imagined that a product presentation can be so much fun? I have no patience for anything but I watch the whole 23.02 minutes of this video and didn't think any second is wasted. Great backpack and awesome presentation!
I love the customization, thought and design of PD products! I would love them even more with a few added security elements, a secret pocket on the back for a wallet, a pocket or 2 on the straps for easy access to metro cards during urban commutes, etc. I'd really appreciate it if the lateral panels opened away instead of towards me to avoid revealing the contents to other commuters on NYC trains. I'd like to see magnets for the shoulder straps on the 15L retained as well - keeps it tidy when removing the pack in close quaters on public commutes. Love, love the products and reviews, keep them coming!
Totally agree on the lateral panels opening the opposite way. As it is, opening the backpack feels like "hey, I got good stuff in here, wanna buy something?". But I can't see how that would be possible with a single zipper line, which is a very clever design.
I bought mine in midnight blue back in December and have been using it as a daily since then. I love this bag, though it has a couple scratches where the blue has worn off, adds character. Only complaint is the laptop compartment. the pocket needs to unzip further down the side! It is near impossible to fit my hand in the compartment with a surface proin it. all around amazing bag! This is why I have 95% of Peaks products.
My ZIP 15 l is giving me headaches due to the fact that both interior lateral zips, made of metal, scratch any item that is placed across the Zip bag and against them. Meaning my D500 with Sigma 50-100 due fit inside, but I have to place both zip pockets in open position otherwise these would scratch badly both camera touch screen and lens cap. Still I can fit my Peak Design Tech Pouch on the lower end of the backpack and remaining EDC on the top. I am talking to Jenn one of Peak Design representatives for a solution and maybe help preventing this issue on future models . Already sent some pictures and vids of my load-out...crossing fingers. Really like the bag and the bone color is mad, but the internal zips are ‘killing me’. The size is perfect for a small setup... and nowadays it fells like everyone is starting to carry a more minimalist set of itens ( even Peter McKinnon ! ) I even manage to insert tightly my iPad 12.9 (2016), my Sigma Art 18-35 lens, my Taotronics SoundSurge 46 ( new bone matching color ) , a Hoodman viewscreen magnifier, Giottos rocket air, Peak Design Slide camera strap, pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer’s sunglasses, spare battery and XQD card, DJI Copilot 2tb, Anker 26800, Anker wall charger, cables, Apple Pencil, mechanical pencil, field notes, keys...ufff .and a pair of cleaning pads for the dirt that sets up on the backpack...I guess it’s all. Just got the answer from PD.: disappointing!!!
I love the idea of the Peak Design bags, but I don’t love them when I have them For instance, look at the way the 70-200 was stored at around the 21m mark. Unless you remember exactly how you’ve packed your bag, he risk is you open it and your lens comes rolling out. Same thing for if you pack any lenses on a folded shelf. I find I’m always reaching and rumaging through the side to find gear. It’s not easily visible (I have the Everyday Backpack). The Travel Backpack is big and gets heavy very quickly, so if you are travelling, you kinda need a second bag for using during the day. Finally, I do like the messenger bag as long as I keep it light. And the the Peak Design Slide is amazing - the best strap that I’ve ever useed.
can you show more of the 15L carry capabilities? I am looking to purchase one as my EDC. I have a Sony a7 III with two zoom lenses with a 67mm filter. One has 149mm (5.9 in) and the other 117.8mm (4.6 in) in lenght. Do you think it will have some space left for a jeans jacket ? Thanks 🙏
It would be nice to see for the no photographers/ drone dudes how this bag can be used also for normal commuting to work or college. Like this, seems limited to photography or drones only, which is a pity since the backpack looks awesome ! Although I preferred the magnetic closures :3
I have the v1 30L everyday backpack, and I'm neither a photographer nor a drone guy. It fits my tech pouch, lunch container, jacket, laptop, bunch of smaller things in the smaller pockets, plus room for more items with the expansion if I need it. I commute to work by motorcycle most days so it's nice to have extra room when I need it.
Great presentation Zona needs to be in more PD videos! I have been enjoying my PD 20L everyday backpack zip here on Kaua’i it even survived being hit by a rogue wave and kept my gear safe.
Video says the waist belt won’t fit the 15L zip. I have one and there is a pocket with Velcro. Also on me, using this pocket as a reference point the belt would hit me at the right place. So why won’t the waist belt fit the 15L? When I add the PD tripod it adds weight and the waist belt would help greatly with this added weight.
Easiest way to reinstall the dividers is leave the bag completely open both sides. Match the middle point and the close the top of the bag. Way way easier this way
Is there any chance you will produce this lovely backpack in a 30l verison? I prefer it much to your Travel Backpack, as it has a separated laptop compartment.
HELLO I JUST bought the 15L and love it. JUST have 1 issue I couldn't figure out: WHY the 4 zipper's are 3 equal and 1 is different (without the ability to be opened like the others 3) thanks. 💪
If possible for future bags could you add anti theft devices like PacSafe, those loops are kind of fidely. I looked at some of your slings & packs a few weeks ago. Will keep in mind when choosing my next bag.
Fantastic overview! I like the idea of the 15l but want to be able to fit Fuji X-t2, 16-80mm & 35mm plus headphones, macbook air and a few chargers (plus travel docs) - will that work?
Can you wear the Everyday Hip Belt without the backpack? I'd really like something compatible with all my Peak gear that I can wear in the studio when I wouldn't need the backpack and shooting portraits. Similar to the Spider Holster.
So they say this came out of all our V1 backpack feedback, yet it isn't compatible with the VC1, so all of us who supported PD and kickstarted the Everyday Backpack now have to drop money on an all new $250 bag. Wonderful :(
best load out is the two shelves horizontal with the gear bag on the bottom for padding and 70-200 in the middle with camera on top. or you can fit a small camera and small lens in the middle instead of 70-200 with dump room on top. Its my daily load out!
@@JoelBalderas Agree, it's pretty deceiving when she mentions at 12:04 "there's 4 mounting points on this bag" 2 of them are on the waist belt, sold separately (not on the bag itself) and the ones on the straps are not actually defined points, you are suppose to attach the clip anywhere along the strap like on any other backpack. That is false advertising.
13:29 I’m a bit concerned that there are metal zipper parts inside the backpack that could come in contact with my cameras and lenses and scratch them up. Any thoughts on this?
What is the magnetic sleeve in front of the laptop sleeve in the 15L? You say there is no iPad area for the 15L, although I used this magnetic pocket to store my 11-inch iPad pro and my 14-inch laptop behind it? Is it magic or what? :D
I do roughly 50% of my commutes by bike, so it would be nice to know how well for instance this works on a bike. For instance the Sling 10liters isn’t very comfortable when hunched over on a touring bike. Another alternative would be to create a camera bag that would double up as a pannier, or something like the Restrap Rando-bag (front rack bag).
At 3:57 I see 2 more external loops at the bottom of the shoulder straps. Are these able to secure the hypalon zippers? (Zona says there's 10 so 12 in total?) I guess I'll find out once I get my bag in the mail.
So I’m a fan of PD, bought a lot of bags from them. I love the material, style, unique design and size of the 15l. With that said I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone that wants to carry more than a pound. Why? Literally the absolute worst shoulder straps I’ve ever encountered. They’re thin and poorly padded. They absolutely dig into you with just a MacBook Air and a PD tech pouch. I wish it weren’t true, I love this thing but it hurts even minimally packed.
Only now after buying a 15L when it was first released in the UK, do I find out that the padded hip belt wont fit it! For me it was one of the selling points. Very disappointed. :(
I have to say I enjoy all members of Peak Design who have made such videos, I think all of them have something special and they’re great to watch, thank you so much all of you

Zona is such an awesome presenter. I am not in a position to buy a new backpack right now but I watched the whole thing because I love her energy!
Just found Zona’s reviews and this has helped my decision making tremendously. Thank you Zona! Ordering a 20L Zip now! Love your vids!

I have it in 20L and love it so much. Hope Peak Design will release a new backpack for hiking purpose.
Thank you! This is the only video I found showing the everyday versus the zip! Super helpful

I will raise the topic also. Very bad idea to have metalic zips in this area. For me the whole interiour setup for camera and lenses is not safe.
Disappointing..I will simply remove them or find a way to wrap them in some kind of malleable glue with very care

I use the 20 liters as a Diaper bag! Jaja they are very versatile.
Peak design's company is in the photography/ videography industry.
They have no reason for a video like that.
Thanks for the review Zona!
Peak Design and Zona are awesome!
Great presentation Zona needs to be in more PD videos! I have been enjoying my PD 20L everyday backpack zip here on Kaua’i it even survived being hit by a rogue wave and kept my gear safe.
Zona is the child of a lightning bolt and a pitcher of sangria on back porch in July.
LOVE this backpack! Could you pleaseee make the 20L in that gorgeous Bone color? That’s all I’m waiting for
I know all this stuff from the previous bags...why am I still watching?
Dad jokes are a powerful drug.
Are there any plans to make the 20L in the Bone color?

When are we going to have to the waist belt on the site! can't wait to get one
I love Zona's reviews; you need your own page just reviewing whatever. I'd watch lol freaking hilarious
Thank u for designing for lefties ❤️
Absolutely. Most people at Peak write right-handed but we've all got left-handed souls.

I could not concentrate because of Zona's magnificent hair.
Make the bone one in 20L plz
What a personality 😂🤘🏻
Why is there no 20L in the color "BONE", please make it. And we will buy it right away :)
Helpful and enjoyable as always.
If possible for future bags could you add anti theft devices like PacSafe, those loops are kind of fidely. I looked at some of your slings & packs a few weeks ago. Will keep in mind when choosing my next bag.
Zona is awesome and so is the EDP Zip.
Fantastic overview! I like the idea of the 15l but want to be able to fit Fuji X-t2, 16-80mm & 35mm plus headphones, macbook air and a few chargers (plus travel docs) - will that work?
Zona is my favorite!!!
Hi! can you share the brand information of zipper and buckles? looks super cool! Are they self-invented by Peak design?
Her personality is AWESOME!!!!
I’d love to see the 20L in the bone color!
Can you wear the Everyday Hip Belt without the backpack? I'd really like something compatible with all my Peak gear that I can wear in the studio when I wouldn't need the backpack and shooting portraits. Similar to the Spider Holster.
When will you guys release a camera backpack that you can open and see everything in the main compartment? Like an opening on the back? Any plans?
Not gonna lie i was able to fit my 16” Mac book pro with a case little tight but can’t complain 😎👌 so far so good
Can you clarify if you're using the 20L or 15L version and if your 16" MacBook Pro is the 2021 M1 model, or if it's from a previous year.
So I want the 20l in Bone. I wanted both one for work in black and one for my camera in Bone 20l
Yeah! I want the Bone color in a larger bag too! Of course it doesn't exist. :(
I need the ZIP-Version in 30 l
So... MacBook pros are 16 inch this year. Does it fit?
finally! a bag that has a secure pocket for dingle dangles and dongle dingles.
So they say this came out of all our V1 backpack feedback, yet it isn't compatible with the VC1, so all of us who supported PD and kickstarted the Everyday Backpack now have to drop money on an all new $250 bag. Wonderful :(
Please make these in the 30L
Would be nice if you also "show" in the video what at the time you are describing the description.
Also it would be cool if you sold the straps to have more carry options or to replace lost ones
they do, problem fixed
I'd love to see 25 or/and 30 liters options
best load out is the two shelves horizontal with the gear bag on the bottom for padding and 70-200 in the middle with camera on top. or you can fit a small camera and small lens in the middle instead of 70-200 with dump room on top. Its my daily load out!
Is there a way to mount the capture clip to the shoulder straps without having the metal directly against my chest?
It’s disappointing, I fee like that is a major oversight for anyone in the ecosystem.
@@JoelBalderas They don't care...
Thank you for being SOOOO HELPFUL
10:44 : Will this waist strap cost $50 ? = )))
Zona does the best videos. I own V1 and now I’m buying V2.
Zona is awesome! Already bought my zip and waiting to arrive:)
Just ordered the 15l Zip!
In what colour white bone? Haha
Na black all the way. Gotta match all my other bags.
you are so funny! especially your sounds fx.
13:29 I’m a bit concerned that there are metal zipper parts inside the backpack that could come in contact with my cameras and lenses and scratch them up. Any thoughts on this?
"tripod or vodka bottle" lol
Can anyone please tell me what kind/brand that water bottle was? Looks sleek
Yea. She’s the best product reviewer.
Please make a 20L backpack in BONE color
It seems there are a lot of comments about 'feelings'. The ones focused on use and gear management are the useful items.
Bonus points if you caught she had Sony Z batteries with that Canon DSLR.

why do people in the US wear jackets and coats inside?
Style
Great video guys!
please add color bone 20L
Hey, does the MacBook Pro 16" fits in the 20 liter version of the Everyday Backpack Zip? Best
At 3:57 I see 2 more external loops at the bottom of the shoulder straps. Are these able to secure the hypalon zippers? (Zona says there's 10 so 12 in total?)
I guess I'll find out once I get my bag in the mail.
Yes
Why can’t you do the bone colour in the 20L??!
Hey. Can you fit a tech pouch inside 15L backpack zip, Hozirontally. Vertically obviously you can.
why the hip belt is not for the 15l even if the 15l have a slide with Velcro?
The hip belt works fine on the 15l.
NEED the waist belt !! Can I use side access when the waist belt hook on ?
In 2023, Apple released 16" Macbook Pro, is it fit in this backpack?
Everytime I watch a Peak Design video I find something new I need to buy (waist strap)
Can you fit apples new 16 inch laptop in the everyday backpack
How much padding / protection does the bottom of the bag offer? I'd likely want to transport my camera on the bottom level. Thanks :)
So bummed you don't do bone for 20L; otherwise bags are perfection!
Are the brown pieces on the shoulder straps loops that can be put a carabiner or that brown is just an accent ? Thanks
Can i fit the medium cube inside it ?

Any chance of seeing a 30L option for Zip Backpack in the near future?
Only now after buying a 15L when it was first released in the UK, do I find out that the padded hip belt wont fit it! For me it was one of the selling points. Very disappointed. :(
I love this backpack, but I can watch Zona all day long, she is great presenter!
How am I just finding out about this bag. This is great!
Never fire her 😂😂
so are there actually TWELVE. Loops including what’s inside the side pockets???
So, I've watched the section three times and I still cannot remove the more-permanent side of chest strap.
Is the laptop sleeve large enough for a 16" macbook pro?
so this cannot fit in 16" laptop?
25L bags, 20 tis to small if u want use it for gym for example.
Can the 15L Zip carry a Surface Laptop 3?
I love this woman
question will it fir a gimbal, Ronin S or weebill-s? inside compartment
