The sound quality - even the imperfections - are modeled so well, you can’t really hear the difference between this and a real one anymore. Just awesome. And that on an iPad.
Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to do splits on this app, for example by just using one midi controller, is there a way to split it so that the "pedal" bass notes are in the left hand while either the upper or lower manual is in the right hand? I do a lot of left hand bass and want the lower end to sound more purely like bass. I just bought the product and would love to be able to do this. -albert
Thinking about buying this next week! I bought an Apple iPad last week, it’s a 64GB 2021 model, just a basic model..will this organ app work on my iPad? How do I connect iPad to my keyboard that has midi?
This can be done a couple ways. The iRig Pro Duo I/O (www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigproduoio/) and the iRig MIDI 2 (www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigmidi2/) offer a way to send MIDI into your iOS device. Using these connections, you can chain MIDI capable devices, like the iRig Keys 2 or iRig Keys 2 Pro (www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigkeys2/).
Buenas y como se llaman esos pianos y los venden con el haipa y el programa de organos y a como valdria cada uno y los emviarian a colombia????? Ok gracias
Yes to both AUv3 compatibility and MIDI control assignments. Please visit the link in the video description or here www.ikmultimedia.com/products/hammondb3xipad/ and you can get all the information you need about Hammond B-3X for iPad.
grandmasterotis it does, in fact, have MIDI LEARN. When you hit the settings ‘GEAR’ near the right end of the top Menu bar, the column at the right has a list of the MIDI CCs for each slider, knob or switch you can control. Touch and hold the CC number. A window will pop open. The MIDI LEARN function will show up there.

You can use a USB hub but if you have controllers with traditional MIDI ports you can use a MIDI interface like iRig MIDI 2 or the MIDI ports on our (or other) audio interfaces.
This video shows the pad version of b3x...love it bought it...I can not see spinning leslies in cabs section...thought I was missing a view switch...contacted IK and I received email response from IK saying they limited the view to the front only for iPad version...really? It contradicts what is shown in this video...really???
The spinning Leslie graphic takes up decent amount of resources and when using older or lower tier (Performance-wise) iPad devices, this can have a negative impact on the experience. We decided to allow for the best musical experience by disabling this if it would pull too much from the device being used.
That is NOT what your RUclips video shows...I am a B3 enthusiast and have been for over 42 years so I bought brand new iPad 5 mini 256gb just to run this app as it is one suggested on your website...$500! And now “after” purchasing b3x it doesn’t work as advertised...The video is misleading customers! Let’s have an update to fix this please. Would also like to be able to save my keyboard’s CC info for recall as I’m not using a Hammond for controller. B3x is supposed to start up each time remembering what CC numbers I programmed into it but not all are.
PC versions always have better tonal quality in my experience. Ravenscroft for example sounds considerably cleaner on the PC version vs the ipad version.
Jaron Brown great to hear from someone who has been on both sides (iOS and PC). I understand what you’re saying. I have only purchased and used iOS instrument apps so far, and haven’t been perfectly happy with them. I may have to go the PC/Mac route on this one, because I’m very picky about Hammond sounds. I’m planning on selling my Hammond M3 and Ventilator pedal next year, and want to downsize, using an iConnect Audio4+, so I can easily use a PC or Mac and iPad together with a couple keyboards. BTW, I saw yesterday on IK’s site that the $99 price is only introductory. As demand and quality goes up, I can see iOS app prices rising.
Sound quality has nothing to do with the price though. It's the fact that people expect iOS apps to be dirt cheap while It's the norm that desktop apps and plugins are more expensive (though that has changed considerably the past couple of years).
Bob Horan Don’t forget, for every customer who buys a desktop plug-in, there’ll be 100’s ripping it - putting the cost up. But apps have to be paid for - you can’t be a thief on an iPad.

Are you frigging kidding me?? This app on iPad! I couldn’t hold myself, I had to get it. I mean, BRAVO IK MULTIMEDIA!!
Got the B-3X for PC and love it. Thanks IK!
Great....I had a feeling this was coming. Now I need and iPad with more space!
great instrument
Excellent but…how to setup keys sensibility ?

Yes it will work. Just need lightning adapter and USB printer cable.

Thanks "Ikmultimedia" for this gorgeous jewel ♥️🎹 Great sounds 🎹♥️
I was wondering how you’re connecting 2 keyboards to the iPad here. Is it iRig PRO DUO? I’m trying to do the same.

Probably using a usb hub.

An android version would rock
The sale now is awesome. Just need to have a chat with my wife. LOL. Can you keep the current price for a few months? LOL
Interesting for sure.....but I’m wondering: Is it compatible with AUM? And does it have Midi learn?

Will AmpliTube ever have like a Santana collection I really like Santana I really think he should be in Amplitube
Can you hook midi bass pedals to this app
Yes we use this app as the direct sound to our service In my church controlled by a Hammond Suzuki midi organ you cant tell the difference

You may have to, unless you have one of our audio interfaces that also has MIDI ports (and your controllers are standard 5-pin MIDI DIN connections).
@@ikmultimedia Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
geez,,,who needs the real thing anymore when you can simulate it like this and it even in some respects sounds better too.
Yeah 😳, Scary to say but true because I love every physical aspect of sitting behind and playing a Hammond organ.

I will be getting this, but why is the pc version $299 then, when it’s supposedly the same as this app? What’s the difference IK?
Different market, different price. It's stupid, I know, but it's the norm.
