I have been looking forward to the next update, thanks. It is great that you have found the issue and got the engine turning. Great progress

Lookin great! What you’re doing is great for a small town car show or just a drive around. Unless you’re rich is the only way to do a full restore. I love what you’re doing. Helping me do mine. Im not a body guy or painter. Got my Great Grandmothers old ‘56 Plymouth Savoy. Got some holes no bigger than a silver dollar and needs rust removed. Dont worry about others.

Thanks i agreed it takes alot to do a full restore. Those Plymouths are cool glad the videos are helpful. I don't know much about painting or bodywork either but going to do what I can with it. Good luck with your great grandma's car 👍

It didnt look like you put any oil on the rings and bearings. If you did not you really need to before try to start it.

Thanks I sprayed some lube down the cylinder and on the bearing before I put the piston in. I had to cut a couple scenes because that ring compressor was giving me issues. Also missing where I said to make sure the rings are 180 out 🤦 after this, I threw some oil down the cylinders again to let them sit and soak some more as well.
