I’d like to see CutContour with BLEEDS, both with solid one-color logo, and multi-color art. Please include importing as PDF, opening Illustrator files, and any other formats that will WORK. Why can’t Flexi “see” and ACCURATELY REPRODUCE our AI CutContour cutlines? We’re using Flexi 12 with a Graphtec Cutting Pro FC9000-160. For the one-color logo, it looks like we may be able to do everything in Flexi by defining the cutline, then adding and filling an outline to get the bleed. Haven’t tried cutting yet.
When creating a contour cut in Flexi, you can also make them a slight negative number to produce a slight bleed. Flexi, like other programs, can import PDF, AI, and many other file formats. You should take a look at some of our eCourses to see if perhaps there is a print-and-cut course that would answer many of your questions. I know it depends a lot on the material being used, but I am between a rock and a hard place when it comes to cutting PATTERNS. Do you have any recommendations on a cutting pattern that doesnt take FOREVER, but also does not cause the design to fall out and jam the cutter while the cutting process is happening?..... Just to be clear, I am speaking about the gap and dash settings in the contour cut menu. Any information aside from, "just gotta play with it" would help
