Dude, thank you! I was literally about to fire sale my HP and cutter after messing with it for almost a year. Your settings finally made it work! You are awesome!!
You should teach one of the Master Classes online for printing! Great video, super helpful. Now I just need you to make a video on how to calibrate the Summa cutter because my cut it always like 1/16" off from what prints.
Great to see, I'm waiting for a new UV printer to arrive, I will be running the Flexi software too and I'll also be able to use it with my BN20 🙂 What angle blade do you generally use?
i wont disgree with that, its a summa branded HP cutter. if you can afford def upgrade to the Graphtec combo. its a big price hike and i wasn't ready to jump. but mine has worked flawless and from what i see some people have issues as well, but every cutter comes with its issues. but the perf/die in the newer Graphtec is way superior.
Hi, I'm planning to buy HP Latex 115. I would like to create stickers like you do in the video, i.e. completely cut out, not just cut on the sheet. Do you need a special plotter for this? How do you do it? Thanks for the answer.
I know you've said you don't laminate your prints, but on the hp latex cutter dealing with laminated vinyl...when perf cutting....is there a way to prevent the ridge like look that appears when its done? It looks like when the blade holder moves up during the cut, it cause like a ridge look...any way to avoid that look so its a much cleaner looking die cut decal?
Have a question, what is the thickness of your vinyl here? And are you laminating? I perf cut my decals all the time, but they do not pop out like yours.. However i do laminate... My vinyl is 3.4mil and my laminate is also 3.4mil.. So that is 6.8 mil.. I am using my graphtec CE7000-60 to perf cut these at 36 force and 10 speed and cut line pattern 3 and blade extended about a credit card and a half maybe a bit less, and they don't pop out like yours. I have to push them out and sometimes they are not clean pushes, hence why i always print out 20 to 30 extra decals just to compensate. I use a 60 degree blade all the time. A 45 will just make it worse. Anyways, i have tested and tested and tested and just cannot for the life of me get this dialed in. I don't mind popping them out, but sometimes it's extremely time consuming.
hey alex sorry never seen this, i wonder if the 7000 has enough downforce because my 6000 struggles, im doing these on the summa hp cutter and seems fine i have done 6mil no issue but i have to play with heavier settings, but i also cut 14mil clear lams decals but not the backing but it does goin through the lam and decal.
@@DaPrintHouse It's got to be the vinyl i am thinking now. Just too thick with the laminate. Since i laminate everything, to be honest, have not even tried just the vinyl alone, but i will do that this weekend. They do pop out once i flick them with my finger, just not as easy as yours do. No the 6000, i could never get it to even cut through this material. lol
@@foundrylabz I have this same issue. If I don't laminate the vinyl my cuts are clean and settings are perfect. Now when I do laminate the job, it still picks up the stickers from the backing. If I apply more force it cuts into the backing. So is the lamination just keeping it all together for the kiss cut? Nw thinking out loud this issue is a little different xD
Hey! It's Anthony. Did you ever get the Settings for a fast bidirectional print from your other friend? I'm running off 2,000 4" Circle Stickers and would love to have a faster way. If so, email the Profile to me when you can.

ye i do hear that from people about the cuts. i have never had to calibrate it, and you probably use yours more then mine, see what we can do!
same issue here... :( could you fix it?
Hi! Nice video ❤
Would be nice to see how you calibrated your monitor screen to the profile that prints off the latex.
wish i could. most if any i need close pms colors i go off my printed charts.

What angle blade do you generally use?
40-45 usually or 60 degree anything over 6mil combined vinyl/lam
I buy 60 in rolls and cut them down from my BN20 as well.
Best way to get more value!
For your hp prime media for stickers what happens to be the mils thick you found best for this type of vinyl for stickers?
without lam 3.5 to 4mil is best i feel
Which brand cutter is that you're running? I have someone telling me to avoid the HP branded cutter and get the Graphtec or Summa. Any thoughts?

having issues with the barcode, mine dont print like yours with the yellow background the cutter is not being able to read it
Do you have an excel speadsheet for working out cost of stickers to clients for sale

U will need a plotter with perf cut capability

u mean like a rough cut? i always smooth out my nodes no sharp points so the blade has smooth radius, hope that helps
How do you make this total cut in the sticker? Do you use a special Teflon? Doesn't this type of cutting damage the Teflon?
Setup right its minimal wear on cut strip
I understand, how long does this Teflon normally last when making this type of cut?@@DaPrintHouse
What UPS for hp latex?
