I love this watch. My AD called like “No one wants this, you like?” I’m like no but let me see. I came in and slipped it on and fell in love. Wore it 30 days straight with no complaints. +1 second a day
It worked out well for you then! It really is a great watch definitely a sleeper and 1 second a day is fantastic it's always nice to know that a watch is consistently accurate. Hope you enjoy yours for a long time and in good health!
I got the red one, otherwise the same watch. Amazing quality. Winding is buttery smooth and it looks amazing on the wrist with the 5-link bracelet. Tudor are working wonders at the moment.
I felt exactly the same about the 5 link, as an owner of a BB58 on a 3 link, I tried on the Monochrome with a 5 link, and it didn’t feel right, sort of dressing up a tool watch, tried on one with a 3 link, fell in love and bought it on the spot without hesitation! Without any colour pops, it reminds me of ice, every time I look at it, which is a lot!
God they look so much like Seiko. I like how the bezel is clean meaning that on other divers there are minute markers around the entire bezel. I like your reviews great job ! 🍻👍🏻
This is a great addition to the Black Bay lineup definitely something that's on my radar now. But I agree, the 3 link riveted bracelet is the way to go in order to complement the tool watch look of this color way. Also the Tudor Watch ID thing is pretty awesome it's nice to see the test results and it looks like it's much easier to access than Omega's results
Yeah Tudor did well here and I'm glad that the overall experience is more than just a new dial and bezel color. Yeah the 3 link works out nicely and the good thing is that the 21mm bracelet ends up looking quite a bit narrower than the 22mm version which was a nice surprise. Yeah and the good thing about tudor watch id is that it doesnt require an app or any sort of sign up. Also I cant remember whether or not Omega's card had NFC but either way I'm glad METAS watches have all this info available to us!
I bought the 3-link as the 5-link which is what I wanted. The watch simply owns my wrist since I got it. Absolutely love this watch, grows on me everyday.
As an owner of the 41Sub and BB54, it's hard to justify buying this one. I am curious to see it in person. Now, the BB58 Coke is another story. I'm very excited to see that one in person.
Yeah since you have the sub adding this BB41 would be tough but if it was only the BB54 then I think it would make for an awesome duo. I'm still really excited for the BB58 GMT the color combo is great and its thinner so it should be a winner!
Beautiful watch and I really can’t wait to get mine. One suggestion id have for you is: why not simply buy the 3 link bracelet on its own. Then if you want to switch it up anytime you still have the 5 link to play with
I'm excited for you to get yours, its awesome! I considered getting the 3 link separately however I'm fairly sure that I wont be using the 5 link much at all after getting the 3 link so then the total price paid for the watch would be a bit too much. Unless I sell the 5 link to get some money back. That said i guess it depends on how much the 3 link costs on its own
This could be a tempting watch but arguably I have too many dive watches already but I can certainly appreciate your comments TWI. I love the monochrome but I also love the burgundy, I think the 'jubilee' bracelet looks at odds with a tool watch aesthetic as you mention. Omega also let you see the METAS test results but you have to log in to see them, the NFC card is much easier. The overall proportions looks great as well. Many thanks for sharing.
Yeah the burgundy was a tempting option i think i would have gone for one last year if it didnt have a gilt dial. The jubilee works a bit better on the burgundy/gilt dial version but i think if the jubilee was fully brushed it could have worked better with this monochrome version. Always great hearing from you!
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Nice review, I keep flopping back and forth over this and just keeping my BB58, the only thing keeping me on the 58 train is the thickness of the BB58 is perfect to me, but I want that this monochrome in a 58 haha although my BB58 is keeping +2 seconds a day average and that is nice.
Thanks! Yeah for me seeing watches next to some reference pieces is quite useful when trying to judge a watch through a screen so I'm glad you found it useful as well!
More I look at images/video of the monochrome the more I smile when I look at my bb58 on wrist. Tudors dial design in color looks unique. But in monochrome it looks like a sub dial got squished.
the BB58 is an awesome watch no doubt! But for me I'm the opposite lol, while the proportions of the BB58 dial are good, the BB41 Monochrome is just one step above. Glad they make both😁
Thanks ! I really like your videos, and it was this video of the Black Bay monochrome that convinced me to choose the best bracelet for me. I was hesitating between the J bracelet and the O bracelet. The J is very pretty, but the O is what this watch should have, and your confidence convinced me to go with the Oyster bracelet. Thank you.
I can’t wait to grab one of these, just slightly disappointed the masters at Rolex stopped this being a touch thinner. You can’t tell me there’s any other reason for it when the BB58 GMT is slimmer 😅
Awesome review and loved your take on the 5-link. I have the oyster bracelet version offered but felt bad because according to the internet I need to love the 5-link but that just feels too shiny for a tool watch. Bit why a submariner is less of a toolwatch to me.
Does this jubilee bracelet fit a Tudor black bay 39? I mean the bb39 already comes with jubilee but I don’t like that the taper at the clasp still 20mm I think
I love the looks of it pff my wrist, but when i tried it on, compared to my 43mm aquaracer it felt tiny, but super heavy and chunky... i need some more time with it.😅
I love my BB54 very much but yeah i think its time for Tudor to release some new versions of it bc I'm sure they will look fantastic. I wouldnt mind a black dial with a blue or burgundy bezel!
I was in rolex shop this week for try the oyster perpetual in black, very nice, but the guy in charge show me a tudor burgondi with the new jubilee bracelet, looks great, sincerly i was thinking in buy it,the best will be buy the tudor for wait the 8 month for having the rolex, but my budget is for one watch so i accept the damned wait list, but the tudor was here and disponible...

Really great review again. This channel is becoming a great place to return to. Talking of monochrome divers, could you share your thoughts on the new monochrome 62mas inspired seiko spb453. And could you then put the MM200 Gmt alongside for reference 😇
Thank you so much! Means a lot to me that you're enjoying the videos I'm putting out😁 And the SPB453 has completely slipped my mind, I've been curious about that watch ever since it was released so thanks for the reminder! It would be a fantastic comparison I have to start looking for one to bring into the channel😬

Yeah this watch on the riveted bracelet is the way to go for sure. I agree completely, wearing this on the jubilee is an interesting experience and I'm glad that I won't have any what ifs in the back of my mind! This is the most tool watch BB, so like you said having a highly polished bracelet takes away from the experience. Yeah I'm not a fan of reflections either so for me flat sapphire crystals are always the best! Then flat sapphire crystals plus great AR coatings is incredible i love it when the crystal basically disappears
I think the whole Black Bay line suffers greatly because of the poor AR coating. I am amazed at the popularity of these watches, and almost no one calls these watches out on the cloudiness of the crystal from poor AR. I cannot imagine spending a few thousand dollars on a watch with a milky crystal. The only reason why top brands are behind on AR coating technology is because not enough people are saying the emperor has no clothes.
Rolex has recently started using AR on the crystals of some of their watch models, but not all of them. The Black Bay models I have seen in store did not have AR. I'm not sure about the rest of Tudors lineup.
oooo thats a nearly impossible decision to make! I think that they can coexist in the same collection bc they are quite different and offer very different experiences on the wrist. That said, since i do have other clean tool divers i would keep the BB54 since i dont have anything quite like that one. But seeing the monochrome go would make me very sad lol
I wouldnt mind a matte ceramic insert however theres a certain sheen to matte aluminum that cant quite be replicated by matte ceramic. Also gives the watch a chance to get ghosted in a few decades 😄
Tudor is literally becoming a Black Bay brand and that’s it,no wonder they are dirty cheap on preowned market, people are getting sick of the same watch over and over. The worst thing it’s just one to one Rolex copy.
a BB58 monochrome would be a big seller for sure and Tudor really ought to offer date and no date versions of these BBs to give people a choice like Rolex does with the Sub
@@thewatchidiot I love my divers to be more toolish looking and aluminum does that for me as they can scratch and fade. Ceramic is beautiful but maybe too blingy for me.
I don't see the value here. No drilled lugs, no enamel or textured dial, no sappire bezel, no open case back, looks like every other Boring Bay. Better off with a Longines Ultra Chron.

That said, since i do have other clean tool divers i would keep the BB54 since i dont have anything quite like that one. But seeing the monochrome go would make me very sad lol
To me this new monochrome black bay 41 looks nice but more like a Rolex submariner it doesn’t have the personality of the black bay 58
To me, the Monochrome is the best looking Tudor yet.
You may be right I have to see it live
At this price point, they should have used matte ceramic on that bezel!
I wouldnt mind a matte ceramic insert however theres a certain sheen to matte aluminum that cant quite be replicated by matte ceramic. Also gives the watch a chance to get ghosted in a few decades 😄
With all due respect, you say this about every Tudor you buy 😅
Consumer culture at its best.
IMHO this watch looks too small on your wrist. The Pelagos 42 suits you much better.
Tudor is literally becoming a Black Bay brand and that’s it,no wonder they are dirty cheap on preowned market, people are getting sick of the same watch over and over. The worst thing it’s just one to one Rolex copy.
The Monochrome is fantastic !
Sub'stitute.....
Just do a BB58 in this colour Tudor.
No dates aren't great either.
a BB58 monochrome would be a big seller for sure and Tudor really ought to offer date and no date versions of these BBs to give people a choice like Rolex does with the Sub
The perfect watch collection: Rolex Sub date, Tudor Pelagos 42 Black, Tudor BB 41 Monochrome, Rolex Sub no date.
I believe no man can say no to #mamacoo
I don't get it.
I appreciate it exists. I think it's pretty boring though.
This guy will sell in 1 year and make another video
Aluminum > Ceramic bezel for me
Amen to that! i love the varied sheen of matte aluminum in different lights
@@thewatchidiot I love my divers to be more toolish looking and aluminum does that for me as they can scratch and fade. Ceramic is beautiful but maybe too blingy for me.
How can you afford to buy so many watches? 😂
because i sell off a bunch of them 😂 (I should add that the BB58 blue in the video is my cousin's watch lol)
I don't see the value here. No drilled lugs, no enamel or textured dial, no sappire bezel, no open case back, looks like every other Boring Bay. Better off with a Longines Ultra Chron.
Monochrome is the value in the market right now.
HEY #amzwatch I have been watching you for years and im so proud of your achievements in watches.! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Can people who review this Watch stop calling it boring? It’s lazy, obviously you heard it from one guy he hears it from another you all say it! we know what we’re looking at. It’s monochrome stop using the word boring it’s a word that surplus to requirements the coffee man does that. Bark and whatever.
Move the mic a bit away next time please - I can hear your spit in my hear
As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, mamacoo is a good choice.
I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. mamacoo brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !
