Sometimes operator testimonials are great but there were too many people in this comment section that hate this loader for no apparent reason. And the ones that Haidet have an actually operated it before so they don't know anything about what they're talking about. It's just sad☹️
Hi there, I am looking into becoming an heavy equipment operator and was wondering what the best way would be to go about getting training and finding a company to work for. I am looking at a little college that has a 3 month hands on course where they teach you how to run the equipment, how to be efficient on it, how to be safe ect ect. So my question is, would going to a place like that be a good way to get a start on being a operator? thanks for any advice!
Too much college kids electronic stuff these days. Give it a few years and it will be back and fourth to the dealer for repairs. God love my 80's cat loaders. :)
does anyone else have trouble trying to explain or tell someone how to operate a machine? like an excavator I run on just about every day but I don't know if I could walk someone through the controls when I operate one it's just like an extension of the body
I know this video is over 7 years old. But I must wonder: How has a machine like this held up over the years? What would Honest Cam think today? Would it still be operable, or would it be a rickety relic? Would something from the middle 1970's still be alive today, while this one ends up as Toyota fenders?
Well, I recently got in a 930 at our batch plant with around 8,000 hours on it, and I have no complaints. That said, 8,000 is not a crazy amount of hours, and it appears to have been well maintained. (Also I'm a grease gun junkie).
You should have at least shown the Rep unless she requested otherwise. She sounded nice but ya never know by voice. - - - I am guessing she wasn't over 250# or she would have a hard time getting up to the cab door. - - Nice loader features.
CAT quality, just don't like challenger tractors so tired of working on those things, sugar company down here bought about 500 to pull cane wagons and before 200 hrs the went back to the CAT dealer to get the John Deere's back
Very Lame on Catapillars part Calling it a Socalled deluxe Cab with only a Cheap Non Nappa Leather Bucket or high back Chair & Simple Manual Non Power Sun Sunshade. Lame to no End. No USB OR SD Card reader on the Totally Cheap Radio, BASE Radio right there.
I work at an ethanol plant. we purchased a 930K for handling distillers grain. I love running it. it's extremely comfortable and easy to handle
Thing looks pretty pimpin. Got All the bells n whistles with that one.
I got to run a 930K at school, and i absolutely loved it
I've never driven one before, but now I definitely want one! I'd much rather have the steering column shift lever instead of the buttons, though.
Look up your local IUOE, and give the rep. a call. Show up on time everyday, pay attention, dont goof off and you'll have a great career.

The main reason I would buy a CAT is that they have the best dealer network of any equipment company, so I guess thats why you pay more for a CAT...
Why don't the have the half steering wheel with gears on it like the 966?

what they really need is a track loader for that pond work.

I like the anti swamp ass option the most.
Was this back when you went on the whole tour thing with CAT or was it filmed more recently?

Was the rep hot? Voices can be deceiving,

No. Cat loaders hold up
@@johndiclaudio9998 Sure wish I had one, I could put it to some pretty good use cleaning up a horse pasture!
i didn't see one feature that is actually useful but I probably saw 20 news things that can break.
4500 hours on ours, nothings broke but the left turn signal.
Cool
She knows the product from what came across in the video.
funny thing is thats already on a lot of other brands
is this one yours? like do you own it?
Why in the do you need that fancy loader when you can have a relibl old loader
Useless technology, just adds to the already increasing price and cost of ownership.
I was thinking Michel Jackson?
sounds like a little boy :P
Now if only they could work on their fuel economy I'd sell my 644H for one
