Stoked for you man! I remember firing mine up for the first time single turbo, new fuel system, new exhaust, man was an exciting moment! Stoked for ya mate!🤙
Another great video Johno. Such a great milestone in the build. Cannot wait to go rolling with you in the near future and feel so privileged to have featured in one of your videos. Congratulations, she’s an amazing machine 😁
The happy brappy is upon us. Love the RX7 content, MIIIIIIIIIINNNNNT thank YOU for the update on the cars. Toyota doesn't need mods, people demanding mods are like haters. Glad you've got the EK. Daily for the Daily for the Daily, please J swap and drag build ;)
Thanks mate! We have all been blessed with the brap haha No worries re update - hopefully things will get moving on the EK, but there aren't enough hours in a day. Drag build would be pretty cool!
@@JCYT very blessed. Happy brapping Jonathan. Slow n steady wins the race too. Remember the le man 24 hour. Hahahahaa there's never enough hours in the day aye. Drag build would be nice but lets be honest, D-series is best.
Hi mate, you can buy a small part (loop connector) which allows you to start without clutch in. I think that answers your question, but if it doesn't the only thing it needed was a bit of throttle to start as it's running on a base map and the ambient temp was below 10 deg.
I removed the air pump for aesthetc/performance reasons due to modifications to the exhaust. The car does not need engineering but if it does, i will run E85 to pass emissions. I have been through the EPA emissions testing process and have a good understanding of it. If you want some info, please feel free to message me!
Well done sir 🙏
First starts are nerve racking and you handled it well 👌
Thank you for the invaluable support! Couldn't have done it without Raceonly and the team 🥰
It definitely was nerve racking!

Same! I've probably watched every 13b first start video on YT
Well done man!! Congrats on first start! I've met Carlos too at a cars and coffee meet, his 7 reminded me so much of yours!
Thank you! I'm humbled his car reminded you of mine as it's much much cleaner!

@Jonathan Chow do you have any contact info so I can reach out for help? Reddit, email etc?
Yes jono!
Yesssss! Can't wait to be back at Wakefield, hopefully see you there one day!
Congrats mate, stoked for you.
Quick question, so you don't need the clutch in to start it?
Hi mate, you can buy a small part (loop connector) which allows you to start without clutch in. I think that answers your question, but if it doesn't the only thing it needed was a bit of throttle to start as it's running on a base map and the ambient temp was below 10 deg.
@@JCYT yeah that's what i meant, yes my FD needs the clutch in to start, i didn't know you could bypass it 👍
@@toddneville7071 if you search for Marcus Read on Facebook he has the clutch in bypass plug in for only $30 AUD. He also ships all over the world.
Why did you remove the airpump? Don't you need one to pass an emissions test to get the car engineered?
I removed the air pump for aesthetc/performance reasons due to modifications to the exhaust. The car does not need engineering but if it does, i will run E85 to pass emissions. @@JCYT Thanks. I will hit you up for info when I decide to do a single turbo conversion on my FD. 🙂
