I don't think they will before 10.3 because it looks like all casual progression is based around your dragon. And if all the new people playing their shiny dracthyr only have a pointless system to do , they might leave with their sub. I want it too but as long as the cosmetics are a main feature of this expac I don't see it.
Definetly planning to try out evoker, especially preservation. Played resto shammy through shadowlands and this class really looks like a nice and fresh thing to try out and Explore🙂 im really exited for the new expansion, can't wait 🙂
Haste does affect empower spells, so what you're feeling on beta is how haste will feel pending any changes. The only thing not changing is the tooltip, but the actual speed is increased. Do a rank 4 FB with and without haste.
I've been playing Evoker on beta as well and loving it! I've played around with both heals and dps specs, they feel very similar to me. Evoker may just take top spot over my main, or a VERY close second. Dragon riding has been a blast as well, old mounts in other zones feel so slow after maxing it out.
Love this. My main is a havoc DH and I was hoping this could be my new M+ main (Used to raid but had a stroke that forced me to stop). After watching you guide, looks like I need to stick with the DH due to muscle memory and familiarity, until my left hand (my affected side) returns to some semblance of normal. Thank you!!!!
I will definitely Start an evoker on the prepatch, and who knows, maybe main him all the xpac ? I mean, who will not try evoker. If only for the dracthyr racials

Looks good so far. I main demo, my biggest problem is the fact that nether portal summons based on when you spend shards instead of shards spent. Been this way since it’s existence in BFA which I think is a big reason it will almost never be used. The shadow bolt/hand spam doesn’t feel good.
Why can I not find a single guide that shows the evoker talent tree setup, not the devastation or preservation tree, the literal evoker tree, need to know what the optimal talents for the class specific tree, NOT the specialization.
What do you think of them making fire breath doing like 90 % of the dmg as a dot at low charge where as max charge is 90% ish straight up damage... does that not literally make it so fire breath is always used on the first charge if the mobs survive?.
"Evoker is subject to change" Isn't every class? 😂 But no, I get what you mean. I haven't really considered playing Evoket yet. I might actually try. Seems like it could be a legit choice for dps if played correctly.
Evoker feels so damn awkward and boring, to be honest. It sucks because I'm forced to main them due to my dragon supremacist outlook and bias. I hope they make it so Dracthyr can be other classes in the future.
Must admit it is very much love it or hate it but I've personally enjoyed something new and different to play I'm just casual lfr method staff tho so take my opinion with a grain of salt lol

Played Ret back in BfA with sweet sweet AoE Bursts in M+ Dungeons. I remember my party member's jaw dropping whenever I first was in the group with the AoE. xD Now I'm planning on doing the same with Evoker, while also trying to get into Top 100 rankings this time, My Paladin was only rank 766 worldwide in Mythic raiding at the time. 😈
This is a little off topic but does anyone know how to change from dragon to human form?? Maybe it’s an ability you learn further in or something but there’s no answers anywhere that I can find…any help is appreciated 🙃
I was hopful for a fun new class to maybe main. Oof no this is a miss for me lol the rotation very boring, it's entire kit feels clunky and nothing feels fun to press outside of the fly over ability. The 25yard range that I thought wouldn't be a big deal.....ouch lol I don't like it at all. It's to bad but this is a big swing and a miss for me. Hope others enjoy it. For me it's a really lazy attempt from blizz. The customization of the dracthyr I find really good, that's the only good thing I can say.
Im trying to spam pyre to keep the Fire Breath dot up, on only 3 targers, this is the two spell doing the most damage. I am also filling with Azure Strike to build up pyres in between bursts. Thoughts?

So....Just face roll your keyboard? sounds like basically every ability is good dps and it sounds like you use every single ability in the rotation so.. yeah its just another face roll class where you cant possibly screw up just smash your face into the keyboard until everything is dead. nice
For me they are so slow, boring, and super confusing plus they have way to much ability's to use, and to much CDs. Deathknights, monks and demon hunters were way to easy to handle and understand. I wish blizzard could bring out the vrykul race as playable neutral like pandas, and put vrykuls around dragon isle. Vrykuls have the most knowledge about dragons then any other race in azzeroth. So where are they? Its time to see what happen to thrall, aggra and their son Durak, Durak was a small kid in legion expansion, all this years there is nothing about him, no lore or pictures. Moira bronzebeard, had a son to, half dark iron dwarf, half branzo beard, I heard rummors of this kid that was going to be very ruthless and cruel with short temper. But yet we don't know nothing about him, neither he's name. Also I want to ask blizzard for more body changes in game, more hairstyles, more beards. Like for humans and orcs why can't we have some of vrykuls hairs and beards, in warcraft 2 the human wizard had huge bears like dwarfs or *gandalf/saruman* or why can't dwarf beards, be able to use in other races. Also I want to ask for Troll updates, to give us an option to have Troll phisics buffed, like Zuljin in heroes of the strom game, trolls never had broken back problems, in warcraft 2 trolls were strait in their back and super buffed. Blizzard can do so much for the game, but they don't want? World of Warcraft is my favorite game sense 2004, I never stop playing it, yet I see all my friends leaving the game. I just want this game to be perfect again. And blizzard stoo killing my favorite heros, you made illidan lose vs arthas in icecrown when illidan was far more stronger, illidan could go to metamorphosis and one shot arthas, Illidan is the most powerful hero in azzeroth, its such a shame to see what happens to him. Saurfang the most skilled warrior in azzeroth, you made him die in such an horrible way. Deathwing the most powerful dragon, losing a battle like this, dome people say he was cast into deepholme again, almost diyng, other people say he is dead.
i fear this will be the end of wow, soo much destruction to the original story line, bouncing dragon people, flower power character, people loved the dark warcraft the real one =( bring back the original creators please,

Even the close caption option didn't help because even it couldn't understand you.

in your talent section you went over the devastation tree but did not go over the base evoker tree. That would have been something nice to go over.
I leveled Devastation 66 so far, and it just feels very squishy when going against two mobs. I hope it doesn't feel this way when it goes live.
Looks good, I just hope they cave and make Soar a cosmetic option for Dragonriding so I can fly around all on my own like a big boy dragon

@@Tygram17 Dragonflight training in the current Beta also affects Soar. The cooldown can also be reduced to like 2 minutes

i always thought M+ was harder than raiding. you might be selling yourself short :)
Good luck, had a strok myself in 2017, still retraining my hands, progress is slow but steady, would love to get back to raiding

They really should have added a black/red dragon tanking spec, would have been very cool. Maybe in the future.

I think if they gave disengrate a cooldown the "rotation" would make more sense as I feel pyre has little value when disengrate is always available

You literally have 5 rotational abilities and 2 cds. Everything else is situational utility. Too complex…
