Hopefully you still read your comments, I recently came across these videos of trails and they have helped me with my finalization of my trip. Next year I hike the PCT and then I take the pnt to Olympia. So instead of getting off the trail at the end of the pnt. I do the pnt section to the Pacific Ocean. What I wanted to say is based on what you said of how you sleep. I highly recommend you get the sleep system, I currently use. Although I haven't done a lot of through hikes aside from the AT. The sleep system that I currently use which feels so much like a bed is the zenbivy bed system. It is a sheet with a quilt that attaches to it that allows for you to roll around in it like it's your own bed and a pillow that is attached and can't move anywhere under a pillow Barn. That also traps body heat from your head to keep you warm. If you get this I highly recommend you check it out.
Hey Dyana. Love your sense of humor and love of life. Question: when are you going to make another backpacking video? I mean one that documents one of your adventures? The one on the PNT is awesome. I know it’s a lot of work, but I’d like to see more. Doug
Hi Doug! Thank you! Yeah I have a few smaller trips planned in July and August. If New Zealand opens their boarders I was would to do the 1900 mile Te Araroa Trail in December. (=
So one thing to clarify for anyone watching! The temperature ratings for male and female sleeping bags are very likely to be different! So if you're a female buying a male sleeping bag, a general rule of thumb is to add 10 degrees to get a more accurate rating (and that's on top of any adjustments you're doing to go from limit to comfort ratings).
You have a great camera presence and really good editing. I want to meet you after 1 video it would also be interesting to hear about things you tried that didn’t work and why.
Thank you!!!! I should make a video on that.. I just don't like talking negatively about brands... if I dont like something I just won't put it on my channel.
Hey Diana, thank you for the great video! A couple of questions about your pack please. What was the average weight you carried: what was the most; at what weight did it become uncomfortable and at what weight was it the most comfortable?

I am blown away about how good this video is. Easily one of the most informative and entertaining gear breakdowns!
Wow! Thanks! It was fun to shoot. (=
Great video!
